csimme01 and Ninja Cooper UNMASKED answered your question My 2000 grand am will not start inless you hold the gas down while starting than it dies. only way to get it to stay on is if you hold the gas down for a couple of min. changed fuel pump an filter.cleaned throttle body, as well put injector cleaner in. on 01/01/08 at 6:43 pm.
