When making a X-mas Gingerbread house, what do you use to hold it together? Royal Icing. We buy it in gallons. I have the makings for 12 large, 24 small and 72 mini gingerbread houses at the store. We buy the frosting, but we make our own gingerbread. We will start assembly on the pre-ordered houses the Monday after Thanksgiving.

If your joint of meat has a use by date of the 6th would you still cook and eat it on the 10th? Assuming I bought it from another store (as opposed to me cutting it myself at work), it would depend on if it had been frozen up to the end. Has it been in the fridge the entire time? toss it. Has it been frozen until now, or thawed within the last 24 hours? cook it, if it still smells good.
