How can I record the contents of a VHS tape onto my computer?

Comes with all the necessary software and you can even watch TV on it. Lots of extras. There are other video capture cards out there that will allow you to capture copyrighted...

I'm getting tennis elbow. What should I do?
Rest your elbow. Take NSAIDs (like Ibuprofen). Warm up and strech before you play, wrap it while playing. Ice it afterwards. Repeat.
Try playing for a while with your non-dominant hand. It'll give your dominant hand a chance to rest and you'll be suprised at the improvement you'll make as a result of this variation.

Does flatulence truly burn if near an open flame?
It depends on it's gas composition. If your flatulence is a result of lactose intolerance it's going to be mainly composed of carbon dioxide (CO2) which is not flammable.
If your flatulence is a result of fermenting fiber it will have a higher methane (CH4) composition and will ignite. I wouldn't recommend doing it though. If you rupture your rectum you will bleed to death...

Why are you IN a movie, but ON TV?
If you're IN the TV it may give people the wrong impression. The TV is a box afterall and someone might think that there are little men inside the TV.
Also, movies are more like stories. Characters are IN stories, they're IN movies, they're not ON either.

Is it true that everyone gets "A"s in grad school, and if you get an A- you're really doing something wrong?
Maybe at some grad schools. But not at mine. I did find in general that just showing up to every one of my classes in undergrad as well in grad school pretty much guaranteed me a B. A's have to be earned. I got a C in one class in grad school. You've been misinformed.
