You may have to set up your sata raid depending on your mobo, also did the HD came with software and or drivers, if so these first must be installed before looking for the HD. If the Bios recognizes the HD then it is a driver issue, if not then it is either the HD or you need to set up a sata raid.

anytime someone services you on a personal level you tip. If it just OK then tip 10 percent, if it's good you do 15 percent and if it is outstanding you tip 20 percent. Although this are not strict guide lines I tend to tend in between the numbers I stated.

You have to manually locate the device through add and remove hardware and then install the drivers and or software via the CD. Before you do that be sure that the plug and play device is powered up. Also most new hardware needs the drivers and software installed First before powering up the new...
