Answer to:
How to get a mortgage?
That is not difficult if you had good credit. Do your homework--look at mortgage payments and then compare that to your monthly income and expenses. Your mortgage payments should only be approximently 30% of your monthly income. Then figure out your debt to income ratio. You are ready to look at what price range you can afford. Talk to a good realtor and maybe some friends who have done well....

I'm trying to get over a breakup with a married man but can't. I'm friends with an old ex & now he wants more again but I'm still in love with the married man & can't get over my feelings. Its good with my ex but not like it was with the other man. Help?
Work it out w/ you ex if possible. The married man is a dead end street that you should be glad it ended. Your feeling s are lying to you because you were more in love w/ a feeling not him per say. Love is being w/ the right person--sometimes we have to work on it. If your ex wants to talk give him a chance. At least he is not married and you know him better. You feelings will change as long as...

Everything is an illusion- We sse things as we are and not as they are. If it doesn't do anything for you--its because of some reason you have in you. But if you look at it as something you could lose--then I believe you'd appreciate it more.

I would assume He knows his coastline community- that has probably never faced a major storm. It is always best to be safe than sorry. Other coastline communities that have faced storm before can beter rely on what is lethal compared what is minor for thier areas.

I always have the temptation of going back to my ex, even though I know he's not good for me, what can I do to stop wanting to go back to him?
There is nothing to stop the temptation---we all have temptations to do things we know are no good for us. Because we think about it too much. Best way is to avoid thinking about it---Find something else to do w/ your thoughts. The more you do other things positive to occupy your time. The less you are tempted. Find a new friend.

In my opinion this is a lifestyle people chose for- one reason or the other. If a person wants to change they can--no one can say otherwise. Like quiting smoking--going on a diet--of changing your mind about what you want in this life. When plp are not happy in life they want to be someone else. When you born with the equipment you are a man or a women--everything else is choice.

The answer is simple. Everything has a beginning and an end. Thing is the end--is really the beginning. Dont ever give someone the power to make you feel unloved. It takes time--and sometime a long time to get to the real love. Scott is not the problem. You can decide anytime to let it be the end--to atart a new beginning. Is love ever wrong?
Chanda, I believe in wrong motives and wrong positions and wrong thoughts. But there are 3 types of love. Agape-unconditional(godly), Eros(intimate love), Phileo(friendly) These are true loves. Anything else is artificial. Loving to do something wrong is really not love--it's a lie. So let not use love too loosely. Love is---what love does. Changes us for the better.

Think about it---we as humans are flawed--so we have a hard time believing anything or anyone can be perfect. Peter Pam. Yes! But I think those who dont believe in Christianity see this as an arrogant statement. In my opinion, it is not gentics it is human behavioral disease. Honest question: Why are there questions and opinions pillorying the US and Israel, but not Sunni-vs-Shiite violence, Hamas-vs-Fatah violence in Palestine, the genocide in Sudan, violence in Kenya or Indonesia, China's human-rights violations, etc?
Violence has no priority, no discrimination or prejudice. The direction has no bearing. War is inevitable in a world were plp think the only way to be content is to believe blood shed is the only resolve. US/Isreal is unique in its tradition to strive for peace dispite its own suffering of violence not related to war. So naturally the US and Israel are the most spoken of.

Christians, if 'the power of prayer' works, yet when I was 12 and really need help and prayed, was not answered, how would you explain this?
I have no explanation---in why prayers are not answered but I can tell you how prayers can be delayed and hindered--others! And our lack of faith to wait until its the right time. God is not a fairy God parent and he is not used for our satisfaction. He moves in the heart and protects you with his wisdom---there have been many who endured suffering to become strong and a powerful witness that...

If God's anger endureth for only a moment, how can he possibly punish anyone eternally? If you don't understand my question, please read Psalm 30. To help put this in context, I am using the KJV of the Bible.
Psalms 30 is David praying and crying out to God with praise of thanks for his victories. Anytime plp rejected God's wisdom the results were considered his anger.
Mic 7:18 Who [is] a God like unto thee, that pardoneth iniquity, and passeth by the transgression of the remnant of his heritage? he retaineth not his anger for ever, because he delighteth [in] mercy.

How could one wash away many peoples sins and still throw them into a pit of fire? Does this really make sense to you? Can you honestly say that you believe that with your whole heart or are you just as confused as I am about this whole thing? Be honest..
Hbr 10:26 For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins.
Saved doesn't mean you are free to do whatever and still have the means to enter a Kingdom. Once you know what you shouldn't do--and still do it. YOu are keeping yourself out.

In real life, im fairly unemotional but when i watch things like Hollyoaks and House i WEEP. Why?
When we watch Television we are sublimal to be drawn into what is happening. The makers and directors of the broadcast spend hours making sure the audience is drawn in---by the words, music and plot. Not to mention we all have a spot inside for others more than so ourselves sometimes when it comes to sentimental values. It shows you are human and you have a heart for others.

Is it true that it's the thought that counts? What if someone came and murdered one of your family members and you were able to stop him? If you wanted to stop the killer and were able to, but didn't,do your thoughts count then? Think about it.
I see your thought patterns AG. Now it makes it easier to answer your way of thought. Situations dictate the value of anything. Plp normally saay the thought it what counts when it comes to giving gifts. When it comes to life threatning situations what counts is the value of the person doing all they can to prevent a undesired outcome. Play on words thought---i see.

Is the worst part of hell overwhelming guilt and not being able to inherit heaven? What if you want to go to heaven and ask God to forgive you, but he doesn't? Although my questions might be irritating, they are actually questions I need answers to.
There is no worst part---just like there is no better part of Heaven. Anything that separates you from Love is hell. Love forgives unconditionally---it nice to be forgiven. Just being there is bad in it self---Just imagine how we recover everyday to make up for yesterday. And imagine one day not being able to do anything to change or take back something you've done or failed to do.

Why do people treat pregnancy as if it's a sin? For example, if a girl/woman gets pregnant, people all of a sudden care, even if everyone knew about her active unmarried sex life. Why is that?
pregnancy is not a sin. The sin is in how it got to that point. There are so many sins we overlook and some we harp on. ex. stealing a paperclip from an office is sin. yet we see it as a little sin if at all. Regardless of what we do---the point is support is love regardless. Do things the right way ---attention is not the way to go.

Life is more real to me when I'm dreaming. When I'm awake, my life feels dull and pointless except when I'm with my boyfriend. Is this bad? If so, what can I do about it to change things around? I have limits on what I'm allowed to do.
Life is what we make it---however we have to be realistic and not spend to much time fantasizing. Your b/f maybe a nice guy--but its a risk when u know--its a off limits area. Be happy you have a nice home, room, friends and parents---dont jeopordize your dreams for the future by taking chances now. Life gets better when you are honest.

There are some songs that I like, but I disagree with the lyrics. I like the way the words flow and the music, though. Is that weird? Should I not listen to music I don't agree with? Is it really a bad influence if I know how to think for myself?
Words are subliminal and suggestive---b/c we all have a subconcious mind. Its not wise to listen to music w/ terrible lyrics---no matter how nice the beat maybe---thats why if you are studying for a test its better to listen to classic instrumental ---it stimulates your memory better...be careful what u listen too-- or watch on tv its highly suggestive.

I agree it is called the Rapture--it is a prophecy in the Bible. Only God knows the day and time. Does the Bible actually say that the "unsaved" are going to go to hell? I've noticed verses that say something about not inheriting the kingdom of heaven, but I don't remember any saying anyone will go directly to Hell for eternity. Examples please.
Revelation 20:11-15 says those who names are not written in the book of life will be cast in the lake of fire. Romans 3:22 says we are made right to God when we trust Him and let go of our sins. Saved means you trust God w/ you entire life. Unsaved means you have rejected your life to live in sin. also you dont know God. We all have a emptiness to fill---why not let it be of love.

Have you ever just bottled up everything inside and then cried not knowing why, but obviously it's something you were probably thinking about self-consciously? Why do emotions work that way sometimes, anyway?
Our feeling are often engaged on happenstance rather than possibilities. And if we are not careful we'll think we are suppose to feel this way. Happiness comes within not without.

If your mom cheats on your dad, would that make you feel negatively about her? I'm just coming to terms with this now. I tried to ignore it for so long and would be nice to her, but I don't know what's going on inside her head.
If you want to know what's going on in her head--you'll have to ask. But it probably would not matter much about now. Forgiveness is for you not so much for her. We all make stupid mistakes---and some w/ little to no excuse. i think will soon realize her mistake if not already. Be kind and forgive---b/c you will always remember.

What exactly does home schooling consist of? My nephew home schooled but his mother only tosses a book at him and says "go study". An hour later she's barking orders at him telling him to do a bunch of chores. Is this right? He's 15 & can't even spell.
Home schooling is just that school at home--and if I am not mistaken you need a letter or some kind of approval from the state to do it. The child will still need to take the assessment test and pass the requirement test like any other student to graduate and recieve a diplomia. It's not to have a child do chores instead of school work. This should be more organized w/ structured times.

Do you like having a chaperone on your dates or do you like alone time with your boyfriend or girlfriend? I prefer the second one as I feel awkward if I know someone is watching my every move.
Chaperones are for dates that need supervision to ensure nothing unappropriate happens on the date. Like going places that you are not suppose to go. You may feel awkward but that b/c you want to do things you dont want to be known---you will soon be on your own--ride it out and enjoy the date. 18 is just around the corner.
