The school that I go to is having a "Fake an Injury Day" as part of 'Spirit Week'. Who else thinks this is stupid? I mean, what if someone actually gets hurt? Why do I tend to feel hungry shortly after I eat a decent size meal? Can we train our bodies to eat less throughout a day? Its just your stomach-dont pay attention to it--you may feel hungry but you are not. Drink a glass a water and it will pass.

What exactly does home schooling consist of? My nephew home schooled but his mother only tosses a book at him and says "go study". An hour later she's barking orders at him telling him to do a bunch of chores. Is this right? He's 15 & can't even spell. Home schooling is just that school at home--and if I am not mistaken you need a letter or some kind of approval from the state to do it. The child will still need to take the assessment test and pass the requirement test like any other student to graduate and recieve a diplomia. It's not to have a child do chores instead of school work. This should be more organized w/ structured times.
