I went to school here in the US and learned Spanish. I learned a lot, mainly the basics of it. It was fine tuned for me anyway until I went to Mexico and studied a little more and had to use it all the time. Here I learned the basics, but never needed to use it so I didn't. Answer to:
There has been five school shootings this year(6 weeks).Does not this say there needs to be very strict gun laws. Also the rights to carry guns ,which is part of the constitution ,be amended. When is enough ,enough?
I think that the Constitution is very important, but I think this right is a little out of date. When that document was written, people needed guns for food and to protect themselves because there wasn't many people to protect them. Now we can buy enough food and we have the police to protect us. I'm not against hunting. So maybe if we limit the gun usage by civilians to hunting...

Do you think there's and age that's TOO young to get married; if so, approximately what age?
In marriage, both man and woman need to be mature enough to handle what a married life together means. To many times there are couples that get married right out of high school and a couple of years later they are divorced. It really depends on who the people are, but it should at the very least be after high school.

Why is the US Flag so important? Other nations do not have a strong attachment to a symbolic piece of cloth. Why does the USA?
It is a symbol that unites us as Americans. Maybe almost a rallying point, but we aren't the only ones to do this. Mexico for example has the same if not more of an attachment to their flag.

The views of policemen are shaped by what we hear, but when you watch the news, you mainly hear about the negative things. The news is all negative. So in answer to the question, my views are not affected by the negative stories. I think that the majority of policemen are good and do the right thing.

Answer to:
Do you judge people when they use poor grammar?
Depends on the situation. In a public speaking forum than I would criticize because when speaking to a group you need to be grammatically correct. When I'm talking to somebody one on one, not necessarily. Even more so when that person is just trying to learn the language.

Do you think valentines day is important? and who, singular person, invented valentines day?
It is important so that people take some time and think about their spouse or significant other and how important they are in your life. However we should always remember that special person. So it's important, but we don't necessarily need a day for it, Maybe some people forget about that special person and need reminders, I don't know.

I currently have a cough, sore throat, and runny nose, I am struggling to work out. Is it best to take a break from weightlifting while im sick, or do as much as I can to stay active?
In my opinion you need to rest for working out. Your body is going to be weaker because it is fighting sickness. So it needs all of the strength that it can muster. Take a break. Get well first then work out again.

Yes because children need to understand that doing wrong results in consequences. If there were no punishment then people would not have any concept of consequences. Right and wrong becomes blurry.

Are tv commpanys to blame for tv addicted youth
I would have to say that parents are more to blame. The tv networks just put things on. Parents have to be the ones telling kids to do something else than sit and watch television.
If you were talking violence, than that would change my opinion.

Do you think it's odd that the most signficant part of Christianity surrounds Jesus Christ - a person who was Jewish his entire life...? But yet many Christians believe that Jewish people will not go to Heaven. Where did Jesus go after he died?
It's not odd. God promised in the Old Testament that the promised Messiah (Jesus) would come through the line of Abraham. He would be Jewish. Anyone who does not believe that Jesus is their Savior from is bound for hell. The Jewish religion has rejected Jesus as the Savior.
After Jesus died he descended into hell just to announce his victory over sin, death, and the devil. But he...

What would you do? A dear friend is out of touch. You're worried about them, but they're not on the phone. It's a 240 mile, 4 hour journey at this time of year, to find out that it may just be nothing. Would you go, or just sit at home and fret?
I think if you're worried about your friend that much you should go. If it really is nothing, than your conscience is relieved. Also if you go, you have an opportunity to see them again.
