My friend's dog (husky/11 years old/male) has been getting progressively "sicker" over the course of the last few days. I have a friend at work who is trying to make a French Silk Pie from Scratch and the recipe calls for a fertilized egg. What exactly are they asking for. It means an egg that has ben fertilized by a roo. Something that is rare if you buy eggs from a standard eggery/grocery store. For me, what worked was to pare down my diet/life until I had mostly quality calories/connections in my life. Is being too observant bad? It can be bad if you get sidetracked by every bit of data with no ability to prioritize it. That is what having ADD is like. Everything is equally compelling...the kid tapping his pencil in the classroom can swamp out the lecturer. The colors out the window can make the whole lesson disappear. On the bright side...you do tend to see the world with more details.

In the past two months, I lost 21lbs....where did it go to?...will someone find it?... If you aren't trying to lose weight and it's dropping off you like that despite eating generally normally you need to know that diabetes can cause this...so can thyroid problems among other issues. If you were trying and you are having this kind of sucess with sensible diet and exercise...I hate you and congrats!:)

Why is it that heavy cigarette smokers who quit can be so anal about second hand smoke, when two minutes ago they were blowing smoke rings in other people's faces? I never was one for being rude with my smoking by blowing it in people's faces. Once I quit smoking it is as if my lungs decided that they had already received a lifetime supply of smoke. It was terribly terribly rough but what sealed my certainty that the plane going down was the fact that my husband and I were both on the plane...and our kids were with relatives. My biggest fear of leaving our children without at least one of us...turned anxiety into a fatalistic certainty.

It is really hard to know if he will make it if in fact that is what he has going on. Sepsis causes organs to fail as the cause of death. Can you get him to emergency vet tonight?
