Answer to:
In your opinion are the things that concern most people trivial and superficial or meaningful and profound?
Well... the question makes a false dichotomy. It assumes that a person only considers one or the other when the truth is that most people consider both. Both the trivial and the profound concern a person. The "trivial" often concerns the day to day progression of life. However, at the same time, a person considers larger issues. More than that the determination of what is trivial and what is...

shud i date someone who dated me twice, then went back to his ex, then split with her and now he's back in touch
You could try but tread with caution. His dating you while still wanting to be with his ex may be an indication that he has a flaky personality and he could do the same thing to you. You can try dating him, but be sure to know what you are getting into, communication will need to be even more important to you. Don't give him your trust too easily.
Answer to:
Should I be proud to still be a virgin at 15?
Most definitely! Have sex with the person you marry and only that person. That's one thing that marriage is for. Although people say otherwise it, they are wrong. Marriage was started to be a monogamous sexual relationship.
Answer to:
My boyfriend doesn't text me very often anymore. We have been together for about 1.5 years. What can I say to him to make him text me more?
As you should do with anything in the relationship, be honest. Tell him your concern. Tell him you like it when he texts you. Ask him why he has stopped texting you as often. He might be busy in a situation where he can't text as much and so there might need to be a concession on your part. Talk about it with him, find out what he is thinking and tell him your thoughts. Then perhaps he will...

You hear people saying that these are the last days, spoken of in the Bible. What indicates that we are living in the last days?
Look at the Scriptures that talk about the Last Days. We are in the End Times and have been since the ascension of Jesus into heaven. Look at Matthew 24 at the signs of the coming of judgment. Look at the event described in Revelation (but remember it is a specific style of writing meant to be read symbolically in many places and not literally like other literary forms in the Bible). Compare...

Can relationships born of affairs or cheating, flourish or are they subject to the same treatment?.
Well, there is a fundamental problem in this situation. The cheater has shown a propensity for cheating by the very fact that this new relationship exists. That must be addressed. After that it will fall to the other person to decide whether they can trust the "former cheater" or not. It will depend on the individual person and individual relationship. In general the person who sticks...

Unfortunately the answer is no. There are racist groups throughout all parts of the world some more organized, some less organized. Another group that are racists are Neo-Nazis and others like them. There are also Islamic racist groups, Jewish racist groups, Caucasian racist groups and Asian racist groups. They are everywhere, we must just hope that they are the very small minority.

Do humans generally learn by example? Babies see parents use example of them walking in order to learn how to walk? How about seeing parents use the example of how you should speak and then the child learns from the example and thus speaks correctly.
This is one form of learning. Pioget classified the learning stages of humankind. Imitation and learning by example is a key part of the primary classification groups, especially infants, toddlers, and young children. Imitation (example) is still a part of learning for people throughout their lives. An example of that type of learning can be seen in the high number of tutorials that you find in...

Are you ready to place high amounts of trust in this friend? Do you think you can appropriately communicate feelings, thoughts, desires, so on and so forth clearly and through the means at your disposal? If you are...

What exactly does blaspheming the Holy Spirit mean? Is it thinking bad things about God, or not believing in Jesus? can true Christians still ask questions such as "why does God allow suffering etc?"
You are referring to the only unforgivable sin. The Bible gives us help in understanding what that is. The Bible explains that there is only one sin that is not forgive, unbelief. Unbelief disqualifies a person from the universal forgiven won by Jesus Christ. The sin (blaspheming) against the Holy Spirit is rejection of the Holy Spirit (called faith creator) which is unbelief. So the answer to...
Answer to:
Is it true that the wages of sin is death, and of accepting Christ Saviour eternal life?
Yes the wages of sin is death. This means that if you were to die in a state of sin your soul would be condemned to eternal death... but as for eternal life, that is not earned but is a gracious gift. God grants that gift to those who believe in Christ because he makes believers into persons not in a state of sin. By the way, physical death also came into the world as a result of sin. Those who...

Please ask your God what is his name? This question is for the christians who say they have a personal relationship with God. We know it isnt Yahweh, or Jehovah, or God. It could be a Hebrew word.
There are two names used for the true God in the Hebrew (from which all of the names derive) depending on the context. In context of God's love he is called Yaweh (I am) Hebrew: YHVH. In the context of his power and might he is Elohim. Both are names of God. Jehovah is actually a corruption of Yaweh.

The best idea is just to sing... everywhere not just for performance or rehearsal. Sing for fun, sing while you are doing work at home, while you are doing chores, when you are in the shower. Becoming comfortable with your own voice is key and it will come with familiarity so use it, become familiar with it, trust your teachers they know what they are talking about.

You ask quite a big question. Breath control starts with the proper stance. Stand with your feet shoulder width apart, your knees should be slightly bent... never lock them. Certainly. We must be good stewards of all that God has given us and that includes creation. In love for God saving us by the death of Jesus we want to be good stewards of all things that are God's given to us. We must do these things (although they do not merit salvation). Stewardship of everything should be taught by all Bible believing denominations.

The roasted chicken and the banana pepper work, the "bite" of the mild banana pepper complements the calmer taste of the chicken. Really these numbers are pretty arbitrary. The fact is it doesn't matter, this is an insignificant point and has no importance. The importance is to know that there were quite a number that sided to Satan but more obeyed God and God prevailed by his almighty power. The numbers in Revelation are figurative and therefore they don't refer to a specific number but to an concept, a...

Does the bible provide us with proof that Jesus was born on Dec. 25th? If so, please provide the scriptures.
The Bible does not indicate December 25th or any other specific day. It was most likely a pagan holiday that was converted to a Christian observance in the early days of the religio licita (legal religion) of Christianity. But this is a good time in which to remember the importance of Jesus' birth. He entered the world of sinners (all humans except for Jesus) and made himself into a man...
Answer to:
How did Noahs Ark work? The biblical story is not logical. No way that every animal could have fit on the ark with food and such. Plus the time frame of the earth being covered with water and drying up does not compute.
Keep in mind the Bible indicates that there may have been a different hydrological system back then. There is also the fact that it is a miracle of God. God also may have put the animals in a hibernation state to help with food etc. The truth when it comes down to it is that it is a miracle of God and we must have faith that it is such.

Answer to:
What does the Bible say about a Wise man?
Proverbs, as the previous answerers have stated is exactly what you want because the purpose of the book is to relay how to be wise. But beyond that as well, the Bible all over indicates that wisdom comes from God who is wisdom himself and his word is wisdom. 2 Timothy 3:15, "and from infancy you have known the Holy Scriptures which are able to make you wise for salvation in Christ...

Do you believe the biblical ancient ones lived to be 1000
I certainly do believe these ages. Firstly, I believe that the Bible is the inspired, inerrant word of God. Secondly, there is good reason why the first generations of the earth had longer lifespans than we do today. The first generations simply lived longer in order to continue to fill the earth. The bible looks at the family of unbelievers in those first generations by talking about the line...

Where can I find study help for the bible? The religion I am studying uses the King James version. I really just need something that will clarify topics, definitions, symbolism...so I can understand what I'm reading.
Do a search for a book called "This We Believe" by Richard Gurgel. It is in question and answer format and is very helpful. Also you may check for a series called The People's Bible Series, these are published by Northwestern Publishing House.
Answer to:
In Genesis 23, Abraham's servant finalizes his promise, by putting his hand under Abe's thigh and swearing to do what is asked of him. What is the meaning/purpose of the hand under the thigh promise? (Serious answers only, please.)
I would also like to add to Perryman's excellent answer. It is also thought that the custom referred to here came about because of the vulnerable position in which it placed the men. This vulnerable position put added weight upon what was taking place. It was a position of weakness for both men, the one placing his hands under the thigh was vulnerable to attack from above. The man whose...

What would Christians believe if there were no Councils and no Creeds?
The creed are espoused by Christians because they are faith exposition of the Word of God. So simply if there were no creeds we would go back to what we actually believe in, the Words of God which is the Bible. We teach and believe the creeds because they confess the teachings that the Bible itself teaches. The Bible is the standard that gives us the truths from God, not the creeds rather they...

Answer to:
Do you believe in the eternal security of the born-again believer?
I don't know in what sense you mean this question but here goes:
It must be said that it is possible for a believer to lose faith and thereby the forgiveness of sins that is received by faith. We can see this in 1 Corinthians 10:12 where Paul says to watch be on your guard lest you should fall. We can be led astray by our sinful nature, by the devil, and by the unbelieving world. And...

Answer to:
If god is omniscient and omnipresent, he already knows who will go to heaven and who will go to hell. Isn't it a little unfair that he is just waiting for our ultimate end and there is nothing that anyone could do to change our fate?
This is a hard question and one that has plagued the church and Christianity in general since the earliest times. There were controversies over this already in the first century after the ascension of Christ. In order to fully get a grasp on this I think it is gainful to read those things that were written by very wise men, which faithfully expounds Scripture. Therefore, I recommend reading...

Answer to:
Why can't you eat meat on Fridays during Lent?
This is a tradition of the Roman Catholic Church. The truth is, that while the tradition may have started as a good devotional practice, it became a good work made necessary to earn salvation. We never want to give that impression. Salvation comes by faith apart from works, there is nothing we can do to be saved all the work was done by Jesus. We receive those benefits (offered to all) through...
