I have such a crabby relationship with the two of them as it is, I doubt it'd do anything significant to affect that. If anything, it would just give me MORE justification for my feelings towards them.

It depends on whether I value the person's opinion or not. Most of the time I take it with a grain of salt unless it is something that I definitely know I'm doing wrong. In that case, I eagerly listen.

A teacher who understands their pupils, who will make an effort to make their lessons enjoyable and will listen to the opinions of their students. Also, one who's firm and not afraid to stand up to pupils who think they know better.

I have absolutely NO idea. I'll guess 10 or 15 miles on hikes I've been on in North Carolina and upstate New York, but again, I don't know for sure. The former was really harsh terrain, and the latter was through icy snow, so it was really tough going but beautiful nonetheless.

Personal hygiene can be solved. Intolerance and rudeness are a part of someone's personality and are very unlikely to change. That said, hygiene problems often stem from laziness and that's not a fun trait either.

It depends on what the other parent would want... but I don't think it would be that easy to give up a child I thought was mine for so long. However, since the child is only a year old, exchanging probably wouldn't do too much damage to them. I just don't know.

I guess I can see the logic in it, IF the child and parents were 100% certain that gender identity disorder was what they were dealing with and that the child was going to be transgendered down the road. It seems like it might actually be easier on the body (and psyche) to suspend sexuality...

To raise a child to drink moderately and responsibly, you have to teach a child to drink responsibly. That does not mean supplying the keg. It means letting them occasionally have wine with dinner and stressing the importance of knowing when enough is enough.

When your heart fills with dread at the prospect of another day in what you perceive as (job hell) that's usually a good sign for me. That's when I say this job is not worth my mental state altering to such an extent I have to experience dread at the sheer though of it.
