It depends. They go by Scientology Ethics. It's a book. They don't believe in breaking the law though. But going around, and loopholes wouldn't surprise me.

Yes. You can borrow the books from the library, and co-audit with another person to the state of "clear". This is more difficult and would probably take longer, but it can be done.

First clue would be in the Narconon information booklet or website. 76% of graduates remain sober for 2 years. Scientologists have their own methods of statistics. Also, putting you in a sauna for hours on end while all the "toxins" come out could put your body and mind at a very vulnerable...

Threaten legal action, or write back some "entheta". Entheta would be saying they're a cult, and attacks on the church. However, you would most likely be banned from being able to take any church services if they dead file you. Theatening legal action would probably be the best way to go.

It has happened before. Last year, a flood of LiveQnA refugees came over to AB. At first I was a bit annoyed because all their questions were inside jokes that had to do with their old site. I did make friends with some of them, also everything settled down after a few days.
