I wasn't aware melatonin actually affected reams, to be honest, only about it's effect on the actual sleeping/falling asleep process. My boyfriend shuts me out when he is mad at me, won't answer his phone, won't let me in his house, etc. Is this a healthy way for him to react? My girlfriend does a similar thing, but just wants to be left alone for a bit. In a few hours, or even within 20 minutes, she feels loads better and wants to talk it out. Go out and do something you've never done before. Taking your mind off it won't make it go away, but for the first few days, keep yourself occupied. Then you'll realise the crying has stopped. Is it against the human male's nature to be monogamous? In other words, is it against his true nature to only have one partner for life, one "mate" to which he has to be faithful? Just to be a pain in the arse science geek, a theory put forward by a bloke named Miller states that humans were never promiscuous (eg. anything goes, males copulate with every female in sight), but were more polygynous (males had a number of female partners.) But surely by eliminating favouritism, you could not make any decisions, as you could not favour one side over the other, and so any decisions made were out of necessity, and don't actually bring a sense of joy or accomplishment.
