The Heisenberg Uncertainty Principle, just off the top of my head, is that the product of the randomness of certain pairs of measurements must exceed a certain natural minimum value (with dimension erg-seconds).
This was established experimentally, after much confusion, as the result of measurements, which of course had random error in them.
So it is certainly reliable within the "regime"...

what do mean "a chance" ? that sounds expensive -- anyone can do it if they are willing to go into debt and impoverish themselves enough for it, or maybe advertise for donations like savekaryn.com -- something like writehappymothersdayinthesky.com and then it would be for ALL mothers.

The garbage people clean the one-month's worth of mess from the microwave and sell it to the microwave dealer, who sells it back to the company as new. Everybody wins, including the company employee who buys the microwave every month and saves the box.
Answer to:
Which company is more responsible?
Did the company actually "lose" $800 by being deprived of an hour of the CEO's time? How?
Would that hour, spent CEOing, have resulted in another $800 in sales (plus cost of sales, cost of goods sold, etc., so maybe $2400 in sales)? When would those sales have materialized?
Or would that hour, spent CEOing, have resulted in savings of $800 of expenses?

First, his goal is to get delegates, and then electors -- remember who REALLY votes for President.
Second, his goal is smaller government, and the rest of his platform, whether it's achieved thru him becoming Prez or thru him influencing who becomes Prez or "spreading his message" or exerting other kinds of influence.

No, they should just show a movie about the Columbine shooting, with the message: "These kids were shooting the ones that bullied them years earlier."

Also they should teach karate, jujitsu, judo, aikido, etc. as is done in Japan, where there is about zero bullying.

Answer to:
Electric space heater. Wont turn off. Getting too hot, plug too warm. Can it be fixed or throw it away?
Seems like a peculiar failure mode. Why would anyone design a switch that can get stuck on, particularly for a space heater? You pull two pieces of metal apart, they stop conducting, pretty simple.
Take it apart, see if anything is wrong that's simple and obvious, do your best to fix it.
Then throw it away and buy a new one.

Loner. Some become billionaires..others serial killers. At what point in a lifepath is that determined? How early are the signs apparent?
A high school math teacher told us that none of us would ever be prodigies, or it would have shown up by now.
I wondered: if there were a prodigy in his class, how would HE know it? His class was geometry, not exactly rocket science, and when we got scores less than 100% it could easily be due to simple clerical mistakes and have nothing to do with a less than 100% understanding of the material.

cases involving the laws and treaties of the U.S.;
ambassadors and public ministers;

Well you can answer that, because you're rich compared to plenty of people: In what ways exactly are you suffering?
You can't buy a new finger. In many ways you can't buy health. You can't buy healthy habits, unless you hire just the right coach. If someone hurts one of your loved ones, you can't buy an un-hurt.

He could appeal or sue in State or maybe Federal court to try to get his default set aside and get another hearing scheduled. Second -- don't all governments kill their own? Why would ours be an exception?

Answer to:
"What is fundamental?"...what is it that everything we see has in common (the "substance" that doesn't rely on anything else for its existence)
Quantum states are a vector space, therefore any basis is as good as any other basis.
So an electron is not really more fundamental than an elephant. Feynman almost, but not quite, says this in one of his public lectures.
Of course this doesn't quite answer the question because it deals with configurations, not "substance".

Can anyone explain these verses from bible"If you answer a silly question, you are just as silly as the person who asked it.Give a silly answer to a sily question, and the one who asked it will realise that he is not as clever as he thinks"Proverbs 26:4,5
Just as we are all sinners, everyone is silly. None of us are as clever as we think. So when someone asks a stupid question, we're supposed to make sure that person realizes he's stupid, as if that makes us look smart by comparison or something. Kind of like having to prove that we're not sinners when we find out that somebody else is.
Answer to:

Answer to:
"What is fundamental?"...what is it that everything we see has in common (the "substance" that doesn't rely on anything else for its existence)
I don't think anything relies on anything else for its existence. Things just exist.

How, exactly, might Ron Paul's disadvantages (maybe a little racist or kooky) affect his advantages (bring govt back to the Constitution)?
I see a huge damping effect for anything like that.
The President can't sign racist legislation, because none of it will come from Congress.
He can't order the executive branch to do racist things, because they won't do it, and the ACLU etc. would challenge it in the courts if they did.
So, I see it as a null and void issue.

I’m 59 1/2 and want to be totally debt free.
Would going debt free (money from 401)make sense?
Compare the interest you get on the 401 with the interest you pay on the debt. (be sure to take pre-tax or post-tax into account, so you are comparing apples with apples)
In other words, if you wind up (after taxes) with more money from the 401 than you paid onto the debt, then keep it as it is; if less, then pay it off.
But the other consideration is cash cushion. If something unexpected...

How can people deny the holocaust if there are still survivers and evience?
I don't think anybody exactly "denies the holocaust."
People disagree on details like the number murdered, and the methods.
For example, Faurisson says that gas chambers were not used (interestingly, the movie Schindler's List is consistent with this view).

What is a double-blind experiment? What would single-blind or zero-blind experiments be?
It seems to me that a single-blind experiment is where the subject (who is sensing or guessing) does not see or otherwise know the information that he is trying to sense, without excluding the possiblity that the subject sees someone who knows the information; in a double-blind experiment, the subject does not know and everyone seen by the subject also does not know.

Why is it so hard to save money? It seems so easy, don't spend money. But I can't.
Why? Because we live in a capitalist society drenched in mass media which is full of advertising designed by psychologists to separate you from your money.
Answer to:
I spend too much money. I sit at a desk all day, and shop when I'm bored. Then I go home and finally see my boyfriend and blow a lot of money on him. I'm trying to save money for college, but I can't stop spending! What should I do?
Find something better to do when you're bored.
Also, dump your boyfriend and go out with me.
And go to your bank and ask about putting money into CDs.
Answer to:
Someone said once to take $20 every paycheck and putting it an envelope as a way to save money, they said it works because you end up forgetting that your actually building up savings...but I dont forget where I have money so how can I make myself forget?
You must continually make the decision that you would rather keep the money, and spend it on something later (or lay up an inheritance) than spend it now.

Do you know how to save your money?
I know how to not spend it.

If you were offered a large sum of money for doing something you are completely against, would you do it for that large sum or pass? Most will say it depends, BUT its something you would NOT ever consider doing or want to do, unless you want the money,,,,

What causes folks to badmouth others? Why do they continue to be the worst they can be rather than the best? What do they get out of it?
it's competition -- by tearing you down, I am now above you, and it's almost like I lifted myself up
also, if you want to make the world a better place, there are two basic approaches: create something good, or destroy something bad -- it's a whole lot easier to destroy things, therefore let's go searching for bad things to destroy
