Why does it seem that ghosts or spirits, become more active around Halloween ? The scent of my deceased grandmother's perfume was so strong in the room I last entered. ( I really don't think I believe in ghosts but how to explain this ?) I was explained this a long time ago and I believe it strongly, the closer we get to the Winter Solstice, the closer the real world and the spiritual world are to intertwining. Hence more reports of ghostly activity from October up to February more than any other time of the year. It's odd stuff, but I've experienced all of my encounters around Christmas so I believe.
