I think that unschooling is when you go through school learning certain things and how they're done a certain way, but then when you either enter another grade or life in general you realize that a lot of the things they taught you were erroneous, and therefore you've become unschooled. I live on the 16th floor. If I notice an illegal activity taking place in the street below me can I photograph it with just my ordinary canon digital camera? Is that of any value to police? Went to Wal-Greens tonight -- picked up a prescription, some Drano, a battery -- and cat that had wandered in. Fed him and now he's at my house -- can't keep him. What should I do with him? Bring him to a shelter. One with a good reputation. Or, if you care about him, see if you can get him his shots and everything before bringing him to a shelter.

RANDOM MOMENT OF FUN!!!!!: Take a moment to just get up and walk away from anything (not critical) that you are doing. Go to your own front door, and ring the doorbell or buzzer. DO IT!! How did it make you feel? (the category for this is meaningless) If I did that right now, at 1:20AM EST with a house full of sleeping people...I would be beaten within an inch of my life. Good idea though, I will try it perhaps when I'm home alone one day. Ringing my own doorbell sounds fun. Maybe, just maybe, I can pretend to answer!

My grandpa thinks it's funny to write suicide notes and leave them all over the house. I find dozens of them every day when I come home from work. Usually he's hiding in the closet or behind the sofa. Is this demented or genius? Hilarious, and kind of messed up from your perspective. I've just discovered that one of my good friends wants to - well- be more than good friends - and I'm really not interested - how do I deal with that without losing a friend? Honesty is the best policy. Once things are out in the open, they can be resolved. If your friend can't accept as just a friend, then maybe you have to let that friend go. It sucks, but it happens.
