If there is a "good" side to our lousy world-wide economy, it may be that people who still have jobs appreciate them and don't complain/badmouth/moan. Customer service is much better as well. Everyone appreciates everyone more. Is that your experience? Absolutely, whenever I have a bad day at work, or think about taking a day off, just because, I think about all the people (including my husband) who are having a horrible time finding a job. It does make me put more effort into doing a better job. I can't say that in our area customer service has improved though, but hopefully soooooon!!!

Every city has its problems, I would maybe dabble in looking at other colleges in cities you know something about, but changing schools is a real headache and I would avoid moving if you can "hold out" that long.

If you could go one month without posting a question (as I did), would you consider yourself a know-it-all? I don't know it all, ha ha!! But I haven't asked a question since April 20th. I just don't ask a lot of questions on this site.

For those who are real church goers: If i (or anyone else) were to Wander into a Church one Sunday would they judge me (Or anyone for that matter) for what i am wearing? Or what i look like? I may be biased, but our church is one of the friendliest churches that I know of and we welcome everyone with open arms. I sometimes forget how great it is until I visit other churches and I'm lucky if 1 or 2 people even acknowledge that myself or anyone in my family is there.

My right ear is plugged because I'm sick. It has been for the past week. How do I fix it? Do you have an Herbs/Health store nearby? I put Collida Silva in my sons ear and it works great. He has had multiple ear infections (4 already this year) and instead of the $100 DR fee and then an antibiotic fee, I just bought a bottle of this and use it for a couple of days and he is fine. How young is too young to get married? I'm 21 and I cant wait to marry my bf, we're together 2 years now. We want all the same things out of life, we want 2 travel, have successful careers and have a family some day. I don't want to more then 5yrs I was 19, my husband was 18 We have been married for 15 glorious years. We view marriage as a committment.

I feel nauseous, constantly hungry, tired, and there has been an increase in urination. I would definintly make an appointment with a doctor. If it is diabetes, you want to get it under control asap.

Can I get diabetic testing supplies even though I haven't been diagnosed with diabetes, though it runs in my family? You can walk into most pharmacies and buy them, however they are very expensive and I wouldn't waste my money on them if I didn't have to. The test strips have a short life span so it is not something you can buy now and save for later.

Can a diabetic person feel ill if their blood sugar had been high so long, then reduced to a "normal" level? Yes, but it won't take long and they will feel much better

What does the finger prick diabetes (blood sugar) testing feel like? Is it painful? Does the finger bleed? It does hurt at first, but if this is something you have to do often, it won't take long and you will prick it, get the blood, and test it without even thinking about it. It takes some practice, but you eventually learn what number you will need to prick it at to get just the right amount of blood.

I am constantly thirsty and tired and people have suggested that I may be diabetic. I had a urine test which showed I was not. Is this test always accurate? I would have a blood test done to make sure. This is not something you want to ignore, if you truly do have diabetes.

Are most diabetics grumpy? Most - NO When my glucose level is not under control, I can get irritated VERY easily, however that doesn't happen often. For example, there is a lot on my plate today and I completly skipped breakfast and lunch today (which I hardly ever do) and my level is off and I'm grumpy. I just sat down about 45 minutes ago and ate something and I can already tell a difference.
