Actually, it's all a big typo. God created Madam and Eve.
But seriously, this saying is so inane, it hurts my head. Of course if all humanity began with two humans, they would have had to be male and female. Adam and Steve would have had no means of reproducing. Does that mean there's no room for a few Steves once the population has fleshed out a bit? However you may...

They can. Rodents as a rule have very strong jaws, but hamster jaws are like... on steroids. Mice almost never bite, rats can give a pretty nasty nip, but hamsters don't even nip... they bear down and PULSATE!

Well, we wrote off the existence of bonobos as the activity of juvenile chimpanzees until the mid 50s, so really the idea that there are populations of elusive apes we have yet to discover in densely forested areas or treacherous mountain terrain doesn't seem too far-fetched to me. Maybe not likely, but I certainly wouldn't write it off either.

Giving pets as gift is not really a great idea. Animal shelters get flooded a few months after Christmas when the receiver loses interest in the animal (particularly when the animal is no longer a baby) or doesn't want the responsibility of a gift they have to feed and care for... animals are expensive high-maintainence gifts! I rarely buy more than five or six items at a time. The self-checkout seems to be the new "express" lane, so I use them often. On a small scale, nothing. The animals of 20 years ago are not the animals today. They are the same species and in most cases haven't evolved MUCH, but minor mutations coming to the forefront can certainly be observed in small quick-reproducing animals and plants.

Is it genetically possible for 2 brown eye people to produce a blue eye son?
Absolutely. Brown is dominant over blue, so both parents could be carying a brown and a blue allele but would express the brown. If that is the case, the child must recieve the blue allele from both parents in order to be blue-eyed. There is a 1 in 4 chance of this occurring, a 1 in 4 chance of a child receiving two brown alleles (Producing a brown eyed homozygous child with NO possibility of...

I've had it twice in my life. This one time my mother just sort of arrived on my doorstep unannounced and declared that she was taking me for dinner. People of religion if you really respected the ten commandments wouldn't you be dead right now? Remember now the sixth commandment says, "Thou shalt not kill." Don't you kill animals in order to eat? If you truely cared you wouldn't kill animals.
First of all, your last five questions have all been essentially the same thing. It's getting tired and boring. Second of all, you keep saying "People of Religion", as if what you are saying applies to all religions although most of what you say is a direct attack on the bible, which is certainly NOT required reading in all world religions. Finally, look at your...

Can a sweet, kind, gentle person who never acknowledges faith in any god or religion but does nothing but good things expect eternal life (if you believe in it)?
A being of infinite wisdom should be wise enough to know that it can take care of itself. humans are puny and fragile and need to take care of each other. If a creator can truly be said to be good and wise, I think it would probably place more importance on how well humans treated each other than how much emphasis they put on worship. I had a cat who got to be at least 18, although she was a stray grown-up cat when we got her, so there's no way to know for sure. The oldest I have right now is a 6 year old dog... nothing too spectacular. :)

Usually I don't mind, but the other day, I woke up covered in something that felt like hairs. When my eyes focused, there was a massive marble-sized spider sitting on my pillow! Do white cats suffer from deafness?
Not all, but it is more common in white cats than any other colour by a long shot, particularly if the cat has blue eyes. Often, when white kittens are born, they have little black patches of fur between their ears that fades to white as they approach adulthood. Anyway, that black patch indicates a kitten that will most likely grow up into a white cat that can hear (and will most often...

What is your opinion of a father who treats his child bad and makes him feel stupid, then justifies it by saying that people in the real world treat you bad and make you feel stupid so the kid better know how to deal with it?
Yeah, people DO treat others badly and make them feel stupid. That's why the father needs to instill the confidence for the child to deal with it by letting him know that he doesn't deserve to be treated that way.

Ishmere Shakalakalaka or something to that effect. I think it was supposed to smell exotic, but it sorta smacked of geriatric ward and cloves.

Do goldfish really have a 3 second memory span or is this just a myth?
No. It's simply not true. I have my own goldfish and a pretty elaborate tank set up. Brand new goldfish are always disoriented when first introduced, but they figure out where the best hiding places are, how to navigate the tank quickly, which goldfish are good to school with and which are aggressive, and so on. I also tap their food into a small plastic ring at the top of their...

Neutrals. If you're looking for a classy no-nonsense shoe you can wear with anything, I'd say go black, of course.
However, if you are looking for a pairing specifically for a royal blue dress, gold would pack a lot more punch. Royal blue and gold is a beautiful combination.

Gave them a sliver of hope in a situation more hopeless than you or I could begin to imagine.

If a father has blood type A- and the mother has type O+ can a child from this couple be B+?
No. the way that works is that O (no antigens) is recessive, A and B antigens are co-dominant. the gene for B blood would ALWAYS be expressed if present either in the form of B (which may contain 2 B genes or a recessive O and a dominant B) or AB (co-dominant A and B), so it can be observed rather easily that neither parent even has a B gene to pass on to the child in the first place.

Have you ever broken a pinata?
Nah. I remember one of my friends had one for her seventh birthday though. One kid took a swing at it and half the little girls at the party started to CRY for the poor donkey being hit with a stick. eventually her dad had to take the thing out, surgically remove the candy inside with as little trauma to the donkey as he could manage, and divide it up between us. :P

How often does it happen and what provoked him? It's obviously not a GREAT situation, but people fight. Even people with healthy relationships fight. And unfortunately, to a 27 year old, the "F" word isn't the be all end all swear word it is to a woman likely in her mid 50s. A lot of people in their teens and 20s drop the F bomb pretty casually. What causes people to be narcistic is it culture or genetics?
I think it's usually caused by being told too many times that you're special, but not knowing how to live up to that. Your attention then shifts to a sense of entitlement and blaming everyone else for your shortcomings rather than letting down the people who have lead you to believe you're destined for greatness.

Atheism is not the opposite of Christianity, nor is it the opposite of religion. Atheism is the opposite of Theism, or the belief that there is some higher consciousness responsible for creating the universe. That is the only 100% accepted difference between the two schools of thought. Many atheists have spiritual beliefs and many theists believe in the big bang, science, and evolution....

Is it that your nose is excessively dry? I'm from a very dry climate and know how uncomfortable that can be, and that it can drive even the primmest of people to want to stick their finger up there and redistribute the moisture a little. If that's the case, I find a little bit of lip balm up the nose right after a shower will keep your nasal passages soft and moist all day!

Running away is a pretty spineless thing to do. You're better than that.
Once you start running, you can never stop, or everything will catch up to you. You'll always be paranoid. You'll always be looking over your shoulder. It's not worth it... you can do this thing, okay? You'll earn a lot more respect taking your punishment like a man than running off...

yeah. If they harmed me, yes, I'd be the bigger person if it was in my means to save them.
I may be more hesitant if they badly harmed someone I loved and felt protective towards, as protecting their harmer would be a conflict of interest.

Well, Voodoo is a very complex religion, but there are no real "spells" per se, and the "curse" part of it is just a very tiny portion that has beenoverblown by Hollywood and our imaginations. All a curse, charm, or root is is a small offering to the spirit (Lwa) you wish to invoke, rather than a magic spell, and as such, the specifics of the ritual are left up to...

Are Bedlington terriers as docile as they look?
Nope! Don't let the fact they look like sheep fool you! They're as hyper and relentless as any of the true terriers, and as dog breeds go they're one of the more likely to bite. They're great little dogs, but they definitely require a high energy owner.

My advice is to get a dog! Those things are great!
As for the rest of it, it can wait 'till you're ready. Back in your grandma's day and age, there was a lot of pressure on women your age to have settled into that traditional domestic mold. Nowadays, not so much. Ya kinda gotta feel sorry for your grandmother, but she's coming from sort of a traditional point of...

If "man" was created in God's image and humans start out as female, is it unreasonable to think that God might be a woman?
Well, personally I don't subscribe to the idea that God has a sex, as it is neither a physical being, nor a being that needs to reproduce. I do believe in a creator after a fashion, but think that a patriarchal society probably just assumed it was male.

Did anyone else think that the Muppet Christmas Carol was an alright adaptation for it essentially being a Muppet movie? (I mean, we can't expect it to be anything like the original, but I quite liked it.)
YES! I wonder how many takes Scrooge had to do before he could keep a straight face with all those Muppets everywhere. Anyway, yeah. Most adaptations I've seen using well-known characters (for example Mickey Mouse) have been outright insulting to the original story, but the Muppet one stays somewhat true to the spirit of the story and doesn't let the muppet antics overshadow it....

Personally I avoid both, but do find leather more acceptable in that I think it is our duty to the animals we kill to let as little of them go to waste as possible. As long as people continue to eat beef, they may as well be wearing the hides. Fur there's no excuse for. It's not a byproduct of food processing, and there are a lot of great fur alternatives out there.

Absolutely. It encourages creativity and entertaining one's self independently. Is it legal for dining establishments to serve raw egg? For example, homemade mayonnaise has uncooked eggs in it, real Caesar dressing, etc.
Raw egg is in eggnog. If you accidentally overheat eggnog, you get little bits of cooked egg in it. EEEWWW! Anyway, I have to be very careful to KEEP the eggs raw when I'm whipping up a batch of eggnog lattes at Starbucks, so I would hope it's legal, or I've got problems. :)

Doesn't mean we'd really want to have sex with them if it came right down to it... just that we infatuate over them. From an evolutionary standpoint it makes sense. Do you ever stay awake well past your self imposed bedtime, despite your instincts to go to bed?
Every nigh of my life. Every night I tell myself I'm going to give myself six hours to sleep. I usually go to bed with THREE hours left before I have to go to work. If I were to go to bed NOW, I could maybe get five if I immediately fell asleep.
