Then in my 20's I broke my ankle in a car accident when I was hit head-on by a drunk driver who ran a red light.

Answer to:
On Jeopardy, I heard that that "OK" originated from a spelling error for "All Correct." How's that? I don't see how it could have led to OK.
It does stand for All Correct.
Interestingly I just saw a story about this on Sunday Morning.
Here is an NPR story about it http://www.npr.org/programs/morning/features/patc/ok/
It suggests the misspelling was probably on purpose rather than in error.
It was cool in certain East Coast cities in the mid-19th century to substitute OK for "all correct." McKean says it was common...

Where does the term "kicking the bucket" come from?
Just one theory:
Pigs to be slaughtered are bled, that is the blood is drained from the body. One way this is accomplished is to hang the pig upside down from a bar (by one foot) that used to be known as a "buchet," a French word for it. The pig's throat was cut or opened with a sharp spike, and it would rapidly be bled. In its death throes, it would always kick the buchet.

Give yourselves some space and if it's meant to be, maybe you will find yourselves together again at some point in the future when you are both in a different place emotionally.

DUI - Driving Under the Influence
DWI - Driving While Intoxicated (or Impaired)
Different states assign different meanings and penalties to each.
In my state, they actually changed them up...DUI used to be the lesser offense and now it is the greater...DWI now means Driving While Impaired.

I tend to agree with you and I like your concept of congratulatory questions not earning points because I don't see how they add any value to readers who are seeking "answers" but that said, I also don't see a practical way for that to ever be enacted.
In fact, I can't imagine the site designers would ever back such a plan because they seem to envision this site as...

Why would a God want to be worshipped?
This is one of the points about many western religions that doesn't really gell.
While I can envision a God who is omniscient and omnipresent...I can't reconcile why an all-knowing, all-powerful being would care to be worshiped?
Surely the purpose of worship is not for his/her/it's benefit but rather for ours.
It must be an outward symbol of our respect for the power...

My husband recently said to me, "I make all the decisions and that is the way it is...you like or not, that is the way it has to be." I told him that a marriage is based on joint decisions, a partnership, he said "no". What should I do?
Did you just meet this guy and get married last night?
Or is this a sudden personality change he has undergone?
I suppose I would tell him I feel exactly the same way so he can make his decisions and I will make mine and we'll see how well THAT works out for him.
Then I'd tell him the first decision I am making is to seek the counsel of a divorce attorney.

That sounds like fun! It depends upon your friends tastes but traditional dishes include ham, lamb, spring salads, asparagus and of course eggs. You might want to offer sandwich fixings and have a nice ham along with an egg salad and some roasted veggies. Possibly a pasta salad on the side. And don't forget dessert. Coconut cake or Ambrosia seems Easter-like to me but anything you like to...

What is better (in interest wise) To pay extra on a monthley payment, or double up on payment's per month?
It depends on how much more you are paying on the monthly payment. If you are paying 100% extra, you are essentially accomplishing the same as making an extra payment.
The most important thing to keep in mind, is to label your extra payments as "principle" so the bank will apply them to the principle on the loan.

Why does a soda left opened taste flat
Soda goes flat because the carbonation used to make it fizzy is put into the soda under pressure. Once the cap is removed, it is no longer under pressure and the CO2 gas can escape. The bubbles you see are made of CO2 (Carbon Dioxide). Once the CO2 is gone it is flat.

Where is a good place to live, where you can have all 4 seasons and things to do outdoors?? We are thinking about moving but don't want to give up the wilderness that Michigan gives us, but don't want to stay in the state.
Maryland has such diversity of outdoor environments and experiences all four seasons. There are urban areas and very rural areas. There are mountains and rivers and coastline. Fall and Spring are unimaginably beautiful, most winters bring a moderate amount of snow but nothing overwhelming and the summers are hot and humid so if you like diversity...it's an excellent choice.
