Why should it matter what a Presidential candidate looks like? It's not the color of their skin, or physical features that make the person, but the policies and platforms which they represent. FDR was paralized from the waist down, but a good President.
I would like to point out that FDR was never photographed in a wheelchair. He was either standing or sitting. A large majority of the population was unaware of his handicap. I would also like to point out that FDR got the US out of the Great Depression by taking money from the future to bolster his present.

If a stick is big enough to cause physical injury, then it can be argued as a deadly weapon, which allows you to use your firearm. Shoot to kill (so the stick wielder can't testify against you) and don't fire any more than necessary (so the prosecution can't argue against your self defense). And don't shoot the guy when he is on the ground.
