I did watch it (my new favorite show) but it doesn't worry me at all. I have worked in three restaurants in the past and the kitchens were all terrific. (Rule of thumb: if you want to know what a restaurant's kitchen is like, check the restrooms - they usually have the same degree of cleanliness.)

I have been there. Some people don't understand that being nice can wear you out. I took an assertiveness course and it helped a lot. I still have to work at it though. It all comes down to a desire to be liked. Once you understand that, and stop caring quite so much, you will find you are just as (or more) likable that you ever were and life is SO MUCH EASIER!!!!

I disagree with this. I think boredom is the biggest challenge for us to overcome in this society. I think horror (and other manipulative dramatic art forms) are more about giving us some emotional stimulation. This is not the worst fate. Contrived horror is better than the real thing.
