How can I stop being so nice to everyone? It gets very exhausting, and begins to damage relationships between others and myself. Any tips? I have been there. Some people don't understand that being nice can wear you out. I took an assertiveness course and it helped a lot. I still have to work at it though. It all comes down to a desire to be liked. Once you understand that, and stop caring quite so much, you will find you are just as (or more) likable that you ever were and life is SO MUCH EASIER!!!!
