When I try to open PDF file, I get a dialogue box that says internet explorer has stopped working and cannot open the file. any suggestion?
Your problem now is likely that IE is corrupted by the Adobe plugin. If after you uninstall adobe acrobat your browser still has issues you will need to reset it.
Quite simply ...control panel>internet options>advanced(tab) and hit the reset button. This will place IE back toall its default settings. You can then go back and reinstal acrobat.

Looking to have security cameras so i can view at any comp. and see my home what do i need t/y sharon
There are several ways to do this but starting with the most economical and easiest to set up and use would be a simple ip camera.
We have used the dlink DCS series with much success and love it. The nice thing too is Dlink has videos you can watch to show you how it works etc. Search ip cameras or the DCS-1130

Follow the link below for more detailed instructions. This is a 2 step process, being one... disassemble the printer (NOT fun) remove the waste pad tank...located below the ink cartridges. Wash it out in warm water and then put it all back together. Thats the first half.

If you're a software developer, do you like your code nice and and lined up and consistently indented and with blank separator lines and with the subroutines in a logical order, or do you regard such developers as girly men?
I can promise you that if it is not kept clean AND documented... that is lots of remarks when you go back to it...it will be starting all over again.
I have written some major programs out there and didn't do that... now there are some I can't even explain how I did it. :(

Would my printer jam if I used Bristol paper instead of regular printing paper?
I am guessing that Bristol paper is a heavier stock than normal paper. Not all but almost all printers have a way of handling heavy stock (envelopes for example) This can be a small lever in where you install the ink cartridges or on many newer printers it handles it automatically. Platens and ink head are spring loaded to accept different thicknesses.
Check your manual for you...

Is skdll.dll a virus?
Located in the c:\windows\system32 directory. If you have another copy of it and it is not the correct one (see previous answer for size etc.) and its located in some other directory like c:\windows\temp chances are its a virus. But you need to do more then just delete it. Its like the preverbial bullet, you still need to find the trigger....
Run several other scans to try and weed it out...
