Answer to:
Which city or state has the worst drivers, and why?
Beijing, China-
Pedestrians are treated as obstacles, bicyclists ride in all the traffic lanes, and drivers substitute the horn for turn signals before changing (swerving) lanes.
The general rule is to just keep moving at a constant speed- even if it means cutting people off or driving on the wrong side of the road.
Paint is wasted to mark lanes.

Answer to:
Do you think that history classes today are biased in their view of historical events or not?
Absolutely. My teacher preaches Howard Zinn's A People's History of the United States. Whether you agree with its viewpoint or not, it's content is presented in an unquestionably liberal manner.
Answer to:
Is the united states of america going to attack Iran?
It is possible, but it would probably be more like what we did to Libya instead of full occupation like Iraq.

Answer to:
Does anyone think that a flat, across the board tax would benefit us more than the current tax struture does?
Definately. $50,000 spent on the average family of four? It would be nice if people could show some personal responsibility and not rely on the government. As a taxpaying citizen, I resent taking care of those who cannot take care of themselves. We're a land of opportunities for everyone, but I won't sacrifice mine for someone who doesn't want to pursue theirs. America is...

What causes some people to have bad gas when they eat sugar?
Here's what it looks like:
The methane, butane, and other gases in the gas are all hydrocarbons (made of carbon (C) with large ratios of hydrogen (H)).
Sugar is C6 H12 O6
We therefore take in large amounts of Carbon, and double the Hydrogen as the carbon.
It seems to me that we are providing all of the ingredients needed for a most unpleasant recipe.

Interstates are always freeways with, I think, 2 exeptions.
A highway is a major road with a state number.
Highways often have only 1 lane/direction.

Answer to:
Why can't numbers be divided by zero?
As we know, division is seeing how many times a number goes into another.
For example:
12/3=4
Twelve divided by three equals four.
Three goes into twelve four times.
It then makes sense that 3*4=12.
Assume 8/0=0
If that was true, then 0*0=8.
When you multiply a the divisor (the quantity by which another quantity is being divided) and the quotient (the result of the division), you...

Cells always grow; cells always divide.
Cell division is a fairly simple process.
The cell cycle takes about 24 hours.
For 20 hours, the cell is in interphase.

What are the functions of lactic acid?
Before you know functions, you need to know some background on lactic acid...
Your body takes in sugar (glucose) for energy. This sugar than goes into a biological pathway (series of reactions) that break it down into compounds we can use for energy, and an extra substance called pyruvic acid. If there's oxygen, it goes into aerobic respiration to produce more of these energy...

Answer to:
Why do cells divide?
In eukaryotes (humans/complex organizms), our body cells divide to repair existing, damaged cells, or to make our body grow. This process is called mitosis, and the nucleus of the cell divides.
Our sex cells divide to produce more sperm/egg cells in a process known as meiosis.
In simple organizms, prokaryotes (single celled bacteria), they must divide for asexual reproduction....
