Answer to:
If you went back in time and changed something, when you returned to the present wouldn't you just be in another parallel universe? Would you have disappeared from the original universe?
I really like this question!! So, after pondering this idea, I think essentially you and the parallel universe version of you would switch places. One theory about parallel universes basically says that for every decision made a parallel universe splits off making the opposite choice; so there is an infinite amount of parallel universes containing all possible realities. If you went back in...

2. Why do scientists constantly search for evidence that we all came from one (maybe African) seed? If I may be so bold, my observations have led me to conclude that if there are many kinds of cats which have many kinds of shapes, sizes, and colors, why i
It is hard to believe, but all cats originally came from one species. Cats evolved about 200 mya from dinosaurs. When a species migrates, it develops new characteristics to help adaption and ensure evolutionary survival. When a species migrates, not every member leaves. So, once upon time there was a group of black cats who lived in Africa. One day, some of the group chased a mongoose too far...

I was always taught that matrilineal systems were more common, because the knowledge of the mother's identity is easily identifiable, but the paternal certitude is questionable.

What is altruism and does it apply anywhere today?
Altruism hopefully appears everyday. Altruism is a mystery in anthropology. Most of the time there is a biological or evolutionary explantion for every action an animal performs; however, an altruistic act has no evolutionary benefit, so why do it?

Answer to:
The philosophy behind "The Matrix", fact or fiction? Are we in a dreamworld?
Can we really prove without a doubt that we aren't each living in a "dream" reality? One of my favorite quotes was said by Descartes, "I think, therefore I am". To me this means that everything else may be false, but I know I have a consciousness because I can think, so I must be alive in some form. However, I don't really know for sure that anyone else has a...

"There are no whole truths; all truths are half-truths. It is trying to treat them as whole truths that plays the devil." - Alfred North Whitehead. Do you think this identifies what's wrong with ideologues and cranks?.
I once took a philosophy course on ethics and the meaning of life. What I took away from the course is that no one should be sure of anything. If everyone possessed a sliver of doubt, world peace might be attainable. When people adamantly think that what they believe is "right", then that automatically creates a "wrong" position as well.

A Czech proverb: "Hunger is the best spice." What are your thoughts on this proverb?
Absolutely in agreement! Add a little hunger, and everything will taste good! In Costco, I love going around and tasting all the samples; however the samples always taste so much better in Costco than when I make it at home, and I think it's because my Costco stop is during lunchtime and I'm always hungry lol

Is it possible/has it happened where there's a natural disaster "apocalypse" in a certain geographical area? For instance, where environmental factors cause a natural disaster and that natural disaster causes another?
Absolutely!! Sometimes that's the main problem with natural disasters! For example, an earthquake might produce a landslide or tsunami or wildfire. Or a landslide could fall into the ocean and then create a tidal wave. Or a wildfire burns all ground cover, so landslides can occur... What should the "M" in M-theory stand for? Do you like M-theory?
It stands for Membrane. The reason is the thought that each universe is thought to be on a membrane which might be on another, bigger membrane. There might be millions of parallel dimensions all around us. If I point to a spot on your shirt, I very well could be pointing to another dimension. I heard once that our universe might be in a membrane that is attached to a larger membrane (or...
Answer to:
Is someone-somewhere sitting next to you; exisiting in a parallel universe?
I think there are millions of me (one for each opposite decision) in our same space-time, but not in the space I am occupying at this exact moment. I think there are millions of other dimensions existing in our same space-time and our universe, though. In another dimension a dinosaur might be sitting next to you or the earth is still in an ice age!

The modern scientific study of all aspects of language is... Kinetics? Phonology? Lingistics? grammar? or Glottochronology?
I would say Linguistics. Linguistics studies how sounds are formed and the base of language. Anthropology recently added Linguistics as a sub-category. When I took a linguistic anthro class, we discussed how culture and language are related not just within a culture but cross-culturally as well.

I think it should be a possibility, but it probably won't happen. I have been thinking about "world peace" a lot lately, and I think the problem with attaining it, is that everyone's interpretation of the purpose of life is different. It may be difficult to understand and accept someone's (or a culture's) idea for what the purpose of life is, and thus their way of...

Does anyone else think the term 'scientific fact' is tossed around all to carelessly these days?
There are rarely "facts" in most sciences. Even most ideas that are taken to be "fact", such as the theory of relativity or something, are merely theories. Answer to:
Why is comparison so important in Anthropology?
In every field of anthropology, comparison or relativity is crucial; it's what anthropology is built on. But comparison in a non-judgmental way. By definition, anthropology is the study of the origins of humankind. The only way to understand the role and origins or humankind is to compare our species to everything else.

Sometimes I put bows in her hair, especially when it's long so her hair stays out of her eyes. In the winter, I dress her in sweaters and jackets, depending on the weather and the length of her hair. I grew up in the country, where foo foo dogs didn't exist. I see now, though, that some "foo foo" stuff has a purpose other than for attractiveness.

Can too much of freedom make a person naughty?
I think freedom all at once would be kind of overwhelming to anyone. I think that people who don't have much freedom can tend to be "naughtier" in some ways. I think this is a good question and I'm definitely not an expert. I'm not sure if "symptom-wise" the two are different. How do you determine whether or not something is alive?

I think the parenting techniques of all animals are studied and are then contrasted with the survival rate of that species. Both parents and other group members (especially older members) help to take care of the young, not just the mother. In some cases, studies have...

Do laws make a difference? Do we not ultimately do what we want regardless of laws? If this is true, then are laws only there to give us the illusion of safety?
Laws are based on the compliance of everyone in the community, and I think that is what is so tedious about them. We ascribe value to everything; for example, money is just paper, and the value we place on each piece of paper is then dependent on what number is printed on the bill ($1, $5, $10...). Therefore, our whole monetary system is based on an assumed agreement. I think the legal system...

What dose cocane taste like
It does not taste good!! The taste can differ from batch to batch because the same amount of each chemical ingredient may not be the same. The taste is mostly dependent on what the cocaine is cut with, though. Usually, coke and meth are both cut with a lot of additives so the dealer can make extra money, so be careful because you never know what you truly are getting.

...Is it wrong to be drinking an alcoholic beverage before sunrise?
I think that if someone regularly needs something first thing in the morning (ex. to smoke cig. or pot. or take a mother's little helper...), then there is a certain level of dependency on that thing. However, if one is only drinking on a particular morning due to upsetting news s/he received, then it is more permissible.

Today, in my area...the last beach where drinking alcoholic beverages was banned...what is you opionion of this?
I think banning alcohol from the beach is a stab at our freedom. I can totally understand the hazards of drinking and swimming and the glass... However, drinking and doing anything is hazardous, so why the beach? I thought the beach was supposed to be a relaxing place; a place where people can go to hang out and have a party or just to relax and read a book. I can just see a slippery-slope...

Would you feel comfortable with a Pediatrician that was young not married and had no kids?
No, not really. Studying pregnancy out of a book and actually experiencing it are two completely different things. The pediatrician with no kids could even have a better academic knowledge base than the doctor with a child; however, I know I would just feel better going to someone who has experienced what I was going through. I got diagnosed with IC (a severe bladder disease) when I was 16. It...

If students aren't allowed to wear open-toe shoes, should teachers be allowed to?
At the high school I attended students were told we couldn't wear open-toed shoes due to the difference in activities between students and teachers. There was a huge controversy one year and students started rebelling and wearing flip-flops...sure enough, a girl was running and tripped on the flagstone, ripping a toenail off. Maybe the requirement of closed-toed shoes should be dependent...

What's your take on this: "Any human statement is seen to be just a matter of a private judgment made by an individual person and as such it has no right to claim to be truth."
Like Simple Subjectivism? I like that the premise tries to incorporate and validate all points of view, which, to me, is making a stride towards the infamous "World Peace". However, it presumes that there are no objective moral truths (i.e. rape is wrong), which from a philosophical point of view is unacceptable. From an anthropological perspective, this theory is a lot like Cultural...

Why does the tip amount depend on how high your check is? What if you just ordered an expensive item, does that really mean they did anymore work than they did with a lower priced item?
I totally agree! I work in the food industry and a lot of times it's the cheap items that need all the extra attention...the expensive items the chefs do all the work...so it kind of irritates me. Or, when we have martini monday or taco tuesday...and I run my little behind off and the check is barely twenty dollars.

How much do people tip on takeouts? I usually leave a $1 or loose change in a plastic cup next to the register.
Like a Panda Express or something like that? It depends how much food I order, but always a couple dollars or a few dollars. If I order takeout at a restaurant, I always tip 20%. Sometimes takeout food takes more preparation than just serving a table, plus the server gets taxed on that, and doing the takeout order takes away from attending his/her regular tables...
Answer to:
Do you tip your bartender? How much do you tip?
I always tip 18%, even if I was completely dissatisfied. For drinks that involve more work, I tip more. Blended drinks, martinis, certain shots (anything that takes shaking, basically), I tip more. I work in a bar and I know what drinks are not as pleasant to make, so I end up feeling empathetic and tipping more...

Wow! Seventeen seems like an unusually high number for it to just be a coincidence. A friend of mine wants to try meth, i know a bit about it, but how addictive is it? And how rapidly do the negative effects, eg meth mouth etc take to kick in?
Using meth is a slippery slope! The user feels high (comparable to feeling on top of the world or something) when first on meth, but then the come-down hits...the come-down from crystal is very, very, intense; there are basically only three choices: ride out the negative effects of the drug (and remember what a roller coaster it was!), try and take some sort of downer (which may also result in...

By taking a sample from prehistoric neandethal man's bones, can a forensic team find out how many chromosomes that the neanderthal had? and were they compatible with humans?
According to my World Prehistory textbook (I knew it would come in handy), researchers in Germany were able to extract a few fragments of DNA from the first Neanderthal arm bone ever discovered in 1856. The scientists then used a technique called polymerase chain reaction, which basically produced a series of base codes (which are key components to the genetic code) in a specific region of...

I really think they are interrelated. If the string theory (and so forth) is true, the study of metaphysics will be greater impacted and in a sense validated. I asked someone "are you doing drugs" and they told me i was accusing them of doing them. Do you think they are guilty because they got very defensive? Or was i wrong to ask that when i suspect it is true.
Obviously, someone will be very defensive about his/her drug use, and there is a particular way to broach the topic. Simply asking, "are you doing drugs" comes off as accusatory and immediately would put a drug-user on the defensive. So I guess what I'm saying is that your friend quite possibly could be abusing drugs, but there might have been a more appropriate way to ask~

I think that culture and language and everything is always evolving. The language invented is appropriate for that particular time period (ex. groovy, far out, etc.-70's). New phrases will continuously be invented to fit the times, but the "old" words become part of our culture and past. I don't see culture and language as evolving as two separate things. The amount of smoke produced by marijuana has a lot to do with the method in which it is being smoked. Vaporizers are good for not getting caught (because no flame is involved), plus they have other uses (like burning incense), so they are more inconspicuous. My favorite way to smoke is out of a bong. I guess one could argue that no seemingly unselfish act is truly unselfish, and that one is either consciously or unconsciously making decisions and acting upon them based on the ultimate benefits for that individual (Psychological Egoism). For even when the individual is feeding the homeless in Ghana, it remains uncertain whether he is doing it for the better of humanity or because he receives...

Can you summarize Plato's philosophical theory (his most prominent/important/strongest)?
I would say it is the Allegory of the Cave, which explores the concept of reality and enlightenment. Plato describes a world where prisoners are stuck in a cave and are passively being fed the shadows of images (not realizing it). He claims that the prisoner can make a choice-remain in the illusionary, yet comfortable cave, or venture into the blinding sun...

Not in my idea of bliss. Everything would be free for exchange, so there wouldn't need to be a medium. Currency unfairly and inaccurately assigns value to things, and thus creates an inimical paradigm.

I started bussing tables on the weekends when I was 13 (almost 14). I hated it, but made such good money bussing that I started serving when I was sixteen, then cocktail serving at 18. I turn 21 in a couple months, and will then transition to tending bar. The restaurant business is a good job to have while going to school. I go to school during the day and work at night. If i smoke pot all the time but i want to try a small amount of cocaine for the first time..is it okay to smoke some pot while im on it?
Yes, definitely. I think pot with any drug is fine to consume and even agreeable (especially with hallucinogens and relaxants). If you smoke while high on cocaine (the high doesn't last super long), you probably won't really feel the high from the marijuana. The only analogy I can think of at the moment is that smoking pot while high on a stimulant affects me as much as a...

Do you or your lover/spouse snore, and how do you deal with it?
I always try to tap him, or make a noise, or jump on the bed (kinda). Then, hopefully, he will roll over and not snore in that position for awhile, which allows me to fall asleep. If he wakes up, I quickly roll over and pretend I'm asleep so he doesn't know I woke him. I hate his snoring!!!! Answer to:
Obviously there are too many stupid people in this world, and many even in charge. Is that because our civilisation has removed all evolutionary selective events? Does mankind need a big catastrophe to clear out the bad seeds?
I think a catastrophe helps to perpetuate new ways of thinking, which could lead to encephalization (enlarging of the cranial capacity of the brain). For example, for a long while there were no drastic evolutionary "jumps" to modern man; however, the Pleistocene (Ice Age) forced pre-man beings to change their way of living and thinking, and in this way helped the evolutionary line.

Been with a guy for about 2 years. Never sucked his dick...only ever given oral ONCE and I was drunk. I am at the point where I wanna suck my man's dick. HOW DO I INITIATE THE FIRST BJ? I have a terrible fear of being turned down even though he is my b/f.

Get a new boyfriend. If he makes you feel like that, then you can't fully enjoy yourself because you will always be worried about how you smell. Women: Is it important for you that your partner "goes down" on you? Would it affect your relationship if he didn't?
Yes it would. I would feel like there was something wrong with me. I go down on him all the time, not because I enjoy it, but because I enjoy making him happy. Is it unfair to ask the same? Plus, I think that oral sex is very, very intimate (way more intimate than intercourse nowadays), so why wouldn't you want to share that with your partner?

I believe that this life or reality is made up in my consciousness. So yes, when I cease to exist this reality will cease to exist and I will travel to another reality. More specifically, quantum physics claims that everything is only there when we look at it, so when it is not seen, it is not there.

A good rule of thumb is that if you got high it will show up on a drug test. Marijuana, strangely, takes the longest to get out of your system (a month or so). Speed, coke, xanax, and most other drugs only take about 72 hours (so I have been taught). So good luck!!

What is "speed"? Is it one of the things you can boil in a spoon, then inject? I saw someone do that once and I never knew what it was he was injecting.
Speed is a type of methamphetamine, referring to it's quality. Meth was popularized during WWII as an aid to help soldiers ward off sleep- and, much like everything else that allows one to escape the realities of daily life, was soon abused. It is possible to inject, but it is much easier to snort, smoke or even booty-bump. Most likely, your friend was injecting a type of pain killer.

Some people don't even have to study and they do well, while others can study their fool heads off and their scores will still not be satisfactory. So I would say study until you feel comfortable and at that point give your notes to someone and have them quiz you.
Answer to:
Am I the only one who thinks kids should not have to fill out the race bubbles on state exams?
I never filled it out when I was in school, and most of my friends filled in the wrong information. I don't think a person's race has anything to do with how well or not well s/he performed on a test.

Where is a good place for a woman to get tattood? I dont want the usual "female" spots like the hip, lower back..etc...
I have a crescent moon under my arm, kinda like cupping my breast. No one ever sees it unless I'm wearing a bathing suit or a shirt with low armholes. I love where it is, though. I feel feminine without feeling slutty.

Answer to:
I turn 18 in about a month, and I want a tattoo. I want a Star and Crescent moon on the top of my hand between my thumb and index finger. I am wanting to know, does anyone know how painful it is to get a tattoo in that particular spot?
I would suggest waiting a year to get it. Desires morph so frequently it is essential to make sure that symbol is truly "you". Also, enduring the pain is part of the experience; it helps to mark the occasion in the memory. Once the tattoo is over the participant is a member of a new group of people~

WHERE SHOULD I GO TO GET MY EARS HYGIENICALLY PIERCED (I AM MALE)
While both ways get the job done, going to Claire's is financially a better choice. However, I strongly suggest spending the extra money and going to a tattoo shop to get any type of piercing. I got my cartilage pierced at After Thoughts or something, but it took forever to heal and really bothered me. Okay i put perxoide on my belly peircing... will that do anything serious if i started useing sea salt and havent used the peroxide again?
My piercer told me to never use alcohol or peroxide. He suggested sea salt, bactine (or contact solution), and dish soap. I tried all suggestions and found dish soap to be the best way to clean a navel piercing anyway~

Answer to:
Why is it so bad to put peroxide on a (naval) piercing?
Peroxide acts as a healing agent, so it heals the piercing, but also tries to close it as well. It is better to use an antibacterial agent~

I really don't understand why people get tattoos. Can someone explain this to me without saying they liked the art, picture, or whatever it was they put on their body? I just don't get it
I draw strength from my tattoo. I am deeply involved in the worship of Nature, and by getting my moon (which is hidden), I feel more connected in some way. When I close my eyes, I imagine my tattoo glowing with energy directly from the moon and unifying me in a sort. This probably sounds crazy lol...

I just got my belly pierced a week ago, and I have to wear tight jeans b/c of my job. But I read that it will push the ring out am i at risk of losing it? Im worried help please anybody w/ answers?
Maybe the swelling will help to keep it in place... I had to tie an apron around my waist for work, and it killed me and irritated it greatly. My navel took over a year to heal to wear I could move the ring comfortably, partly because it caught on my apron, jeans, some shirts, and one time it hooked on my then boyfriend's belt buckle and almost ripped out...

I got my bellybutton pierced last night and after about an hour i soaked in in sea salt & water at my friends house. i havent showered yet and i want to clean it, but i dont have sea salt at home or bactine. what can i use?
When I first got my belly button pierced I used salt water to clean it, but after a few months it was still producing pus, so I started using bactine, but after a few months it still wasn't healed. It was fun to squeeze the pus while bored in class, however, I decided to go back to the guy who pierced me and ask him what to do. He surprisingly suggested using dish soap to clean it. Keep a...

I have had my navel pierced for 8 months now... i tried to remove the balls on the end to change them... i think i bruised it when taking them off.... theres a lump now that is tender to the touch under the skin,,, anyone know how long it will take toheal
The bellybutton takes a super long time to heal!! Just continue to clean it regularly and everything should be fine. If the lump is kinda hard, then it is completely normal. I freaked out when I first felt a lump, and then I went around and made everyone else feel it, but after awhile it gets smaller and smaller until it eventually goes away (but mine took years).

Do you have any interesting conclusions you have made about a movie, or something that you picked up on while watching it that most people didn't notice/realize?
I know this movie is widely discussed in philosophy lectures, but I love "The Truman Show". I like the story and I also like how it plays on Plato's famous Allegory of the Cave.

Are a lot of Smart people strange to average people?
Maybe they just think on completely different levels. I think that people who question things are looking at life in a different color and definitely might seem odd. However, I also think that two "smart" people could seem just as anomalistic to one another; a person who excels in physics will...

How can i get rid of acne QUICKLY without having to buy products or go to the doctor? I've found a few tips but i'm looking for ALL NATURAL treatments that i can easily put together at home. PLEASE HELP ME! I've suffered from this for too long!
Try putting toothpaste on problem areas to dry them out, or lemon juice overnight. Dab a little honey onto a band aid and place overnight over a pimple that you want to come to head. Hydrogen peroxide also works as a mild astringent. I don't know- play around with things that you think would work with your skin type.

Do you make tips where you work? If yes, Do you save them? (Put them in a jar or tin of some kind)
Now I need every dime I earn, but when I was serving in high school I would take out a hundred for money for the week and put the rest of the cash and my checks into the bank; it worked out well, but I went shopping too much and spent it! It makes me upset to think back on how frivolously I spent my money when I need it so desperately now.

I definitely take everything out of the dressing room, but then I feel bad for those who have to put everything back on the racks (I just think of endless laundry that isn't even mine), so normally I give them some of the things and then I put back the rest.

I have felt that way for a long time; my doctor kept changing my anti-depressant, but finally she diagnosed me as being bi-polar and put me on abilify. It seems to me that people who are affected by bi-polar disorder have longer periods of either being manic or depressive. Anyway, I started taking the medication, but it just made me feel flat.

What is a problem with Natural Law?
Natural Law essentially states that everything should be used for it's natural purpose. Everything was made for a specific purpose and should be used in only that way. If everything is being used according to it's "natural" or intended use, then morality has supposedly been established....

I don't know, that question is morally difficult~

I think it is good to educate your child at an early age about a lot of things (sex, drugs...), however, I don't think discrimination is one of them. When you go to a restaurant don't you hate it when there are a bunch of empty tables and the hostess sits you right next to other people, instead of seating you farther away, and having your own space?
The hostess does not choose where you sit; she follows a strict seating schedule according to the server's stations. When I used to hostess, I would hate it when the party I was trying to seat wanted to switch tables, thus switching waitress (or waiter) stations-the servers then proceeded to get upset with me when I couldn't help it!

If you buy leftover marijuana seeds from a friend, and plant it out in the forest in the summer time, will the plants produce much THC? How long will it take before it's time to harvest? Can you package and sell the ground leaves of the male plant?
I agree that marijuana plants need an extremely high level of care and knowledge of the whole craft. Being exposed to sunlight is also essential in the growth and overall health of each plant, but that also means being more exposed...

Everyday I drive my brother to school and I get annoyed when he try to open the car door even though he know it's gonna be locked, I'll have to open the driver side door then press the button and he know it, why do people have the tendency to do that?
Maybe because each time he hopes it will be unlocked. I'm sure eventually he will become conditioned to not do it.

Is it natural for someone to have on and off feelings of love towards someone they recently got back together with. Even after previously dating for a year?
I dated this guy for a year, and then we broke up for a couple months. When we got back together it was really difficult for me to not think about the past couple months. Every time we kissed I felt such a mixture of feelings...like I wanted him, but was unsure. Eventually I just got over it (even though I shouldn't have because I've heard that he cheated on me). We dated for another...

I'm writing a novel and want to know the best way to keep from rushing. At the moment I feel as if I'm going good. But dialog I feel is short and maybe to much to the point. Little casual conversation. Anyone have any pointers on how to avoid this?
Close your eyes and imagine yourself in your setting. Then slowly focus on all your senses and actions until you actually feel apart of the scene. The worst mistake is to rush, because then the details don't get the thoughtfulness they deserve. When writing dialogue, it is important that it sounds natural and that each word spoken is advancing the story in some way. Integrating action with...

Why are there so many people who can't spell? Did everyone drop out of school in the past 20 years? Is it laziness?
I think so many cannot spell because they don't have to read many books while in school. I believe that being able to spell well comes with exposure to words. I think younger people tend to think texting and writing on the internet are both places where informality is more accepted

If you work at a restaurant: Who tips better? Older or younger people?
My aunt (fifties) and I (early twenties) used to serve together at my sister's busy, family-owned restaurant. She and I would count our tips at the end of the day (the best part) and make relatively the same amount. My aunt claimed that older people tipped better, and I insisted that younger people tipped better. Maybe it has something to do with your age in relation to the patron's age.

Well, she should have definitely comped your meal and been very apologetic. She also probably should have informed the manager and involved him/her to rectify the situation appropriately. A lot of times the server does not have the qualifications to comp more than one meal (if any)

The resturant I have been working in for over a year and they have provided us with uniforms, has just informed us that we now have to wear white button up shirts and buy them outside of work. My question is is this legal for them to do?
I'm sure it is. It isn't mandatory to provide uniforms or aprons in restaurants (I don't think); if you want to work there, then they figure you can buy the uniform. Plus, maybe the purchase insures that the customer is serious and won't quit or not show up right after being hired.

Do you think the parents of an ugly child owe it to their offspring to cover the costs for cosmetic surgery?
Assume that the child's looks are having a negative psychological effect on him/her.
This question is difficult because each situation might produce dire effects. For example, if the parents didn't pay to "fix" the "problem", the child might think that the parents don't love him/her; the child might blame them for a) her "bad-looking" genes and then b) for not caring enough to "fix" it when they could. Your first time should be about wanting to pleasure the guy, not about worrying if you will be good or not. If you are worried that he is going to think it is bad, then this is not the right guy for your first time. I performed oral sex very young, but it wasn't the age that I regret, but who I went down on. I only did it for a few seconds and then one of his friends burst in. Then a...

I really think I'm horrible in bed. I can't get the rhythm down, and I know I'm bad at giving head too. I can't get him to cum when I do it with just my mouth and hands. What can I do to get better?
Let me begin by saying that I completely agree with Kw Hudd about oral sex. And any guy who complains about getting bad oral sex obviously hasn't heard the adage, "any head is good head". Part of being in a relationship is feeling comfortable enough to communicate about sexual likes and dislikes, so just ask him what feels better for him. I have learned that there is nothing to...

I don't know your gender, but have you tried using toys or porn? Have you tried pleasuring yourself and not relying on a partner and still can't? I think that religion has been one contributing factor to the foundation of civilization. What are some common vomit inducers? Not in a bulimic way, just out of curiosity. Like what makes you become sick?
If I ever feel the need to vomit, I always look at the toilet and think about what else has been in there. In public bathrooms this works best, since there are normally smudges of feces or escaped pubic hair on the toilet

Naturally, you are going to be upset and worried. However, there is nothing you can do about it now, except to wait. While you still run a risk for being pregnant, the chances are probably slim. Well definitely everyday! However, women tend to be more fertile when they are ovulating (and horny if we aren't in pain from it), and that is about two weeks after your period. Remember though, pregnancy can occur at any time (even when you are on your period), so always use some sort of protection if not multiple ones (I know it takes some of the pleasure away, but still)

It depends on how much you have been taking and for how long, but I think most drugs (man-made) only are in your system for about 72 hours.

Answer to:
When I smoke weed sometimes I get real bad headaches does anyone know why?
It could possibly be your method of smoking. If you are smoking out of a bong, you are more likely to get a headache because your brain has the least amount of oxygen this way and the most amount of smoke (in one hit). I don't really know, but maybe try a pipe
Answer to:
Will oxycodone ease the effects of cocaine?
I am always weary to take an opiate (or any downer) after taking an upper, such as cocaine. I have heard that the mixed signals confuse the body (or heart) and could possibly shut down. However, I have taken xanax to help me go to sleep after being wired and obviously I'm still alive. So maybe it would, but I would do it hours after while coming down
Answer to:
What is the worst consequence you've had from drinking or doing drugs?
I have tried many drugs and none of them compare to the effects of alcohol. Contrary to popular myth, one can still function while under the influence (unless it's mushrooms or something); however, alcohol completely changes people. I am currently going to school, but I bartender at a local bar and I am continually amazed at the drastic changes people's behaviors go through while...

Have you ever done Drugs? if so what Kind? And when you think back on it, was it a good thing or bad thing for you?
I have tried a multitude of different types of drugs and I don't regret trying a single one (even though they all may not have worked out for the best). I believe life is meant to be experienced in every possible capacity. I think each experience helped to shape me as the person I am today, both through the thoughts and feelings while on each drug, and because each experience taught me...

What do you habitually overspend on, and why?
Marijuana. I budget my money very tightly, and, recently, think twice about even going into a thrift store. However, I always find money for weed. I believe that if people are going to have addictions or habits, they need to have the resources to support them.

You are in a space ship traveling at the speed of light. You turn on the headlights. What happens to that light?
No. The two speeds cannot be added together. The speed of light is the fastest thing that travels in our universe (that is proven as of now).

Answer to:
If a method faster-than-light travel was ever to be discovered, we would technically be able to see the past. If you look into the night sky you are looking into the past because a lot of the stars are long dead. Does this have any other implications?
It would highly affect the possibility of time travel. I think, basically, the ability to travel faster than light would mess up any theories on simultaneity, thus resulting in the possibility of traveling backward. However, all sense of causality would be distorted (meaning a person could go back in time and kill his grandfather). In this type of universe it would be very difficult to classify...

Most drugs whether they are prescriptive or hard (except for marijuana or more natural substances strangely), only stay in your system for about 72 hours, I think.
Answer to:
Is meth as addictive as everone says it is?
I think that question is hard to answer, because there is no definitive amount to become addicted to things. It just depends on how easily you become addicted to other substances or to habits. However, if you think there is a chance that you are becoming addicted to a substance (and you don't want to be), then I would definitely recommend ceasing use for awhile.

Question for the high school types: I just caught a group of high school boys (I live by a high school) smoking a cigar that smelled like a combination of cheap cigar and pot. It this a new trend to try to hide or mask the smell of them getting high?
My friends and I often times make spliffs, which are made from cigarettes, and are just filled with half tobacco from the cigarettes and half weed. They are kinda frustrating and difficult to make, so I can definitely see kids just using a cigar. Spliffs are really convenient for parties, concerts, work...They fit in a cigarette pack, there is no worrying about carrying a piece, the tobacco...

Answer to:
What is a good way to cover up the smell of weed?
There is no completely effective way to cover up the smell of weed (believe me I tried everything when I lived in the dorms). However, the good news is the scent from the smoke fades quickly and doesn't leave much of a residue smell like cigarettes or something. If you are carrying pot on you and it smells, try to wrap the weed in a bundle of something, or just relish it!

What is the connection between Wicca spells working and the full moon and its phases?
The energy of the Moon changes depending upon the phase that the Moon is in, but when the Moon is full, the energy is the strongest. The Moon is representational of the Goddess, so it is most convenient to perform ritual and homage on the full moon (providing that it is appropriate for the spell). The Waxing Moon is a time for initiation and growth, and the Waning Moon is a time for taking away.

Are we working against fate?
I think that this question is contradictory; if there is such a thing as "fate", then every action one takes is already planned out (even if the individual thinks his/her actions are based on free will). Therefore there is no such thing as working against fate, because fate is working against you.

Answer to:
Is there a fixed number of souls or are they created constantly? If fixed, how does that explain the growing human population? If created constantly, would that not insinuate a Creator actively involved in people's lives? If so, why no signs of Creator?
Maybe there is a fixed number of souls in the universe, and if so, then maybe some of those souls are in different realities (whatever those may consist of), and only come to this reality when their time in the other reality has come to an end. Does this make sense or am I totally confusing?
