How do you get an extremly picky child to eat?
Since most of the answers were from one viewpoint, I decided to post this as an answer.
I agree that our daughter should be forced to eat or go to bed hungry. I was a very picky child to and Im still a picky eater to a large degree. But I will at least try things. There are things that my mom and dad tried to force me to eat that I just could not stomach.
So, I try to tell our daughter...
Answer to:
How do you get an extremly picky child to eat?
Our daughter is very very picky. She refuses to eat what is put in front of her. Instead she will only eat either fast food or boxed meals.
We try to make her eat, but she refuses, puts her hands in front of her mouth and will not try anything. She is 3 1/2.
We try to tell her that if she does not try it, she wont get anything, and especially no desert but eventualy in we cave and give...

Do hypocrites bother you? You know..those people who are guilty of the very things they loudly and proudly "abhor, condemn and revile"?
To Rosie G.
Well, I agree to a point. None of us are perfect. There is just no such thing as it down here. The only perfect person was Jesus.
I am a pastor. If I had waited until I was perfect to become a pastor, I would have never became one. Likewise, I make mistakes and I mess up. But that does not mean that I can point out to others their mistakes or potential mistakes. Again, If I...

This is an interesting question. A Hypocite is one who pretends to have beliefs or values, but really does not.
A true hypoctrite then I would certainly not like. That sort of person will be dealt with by God.
But on the other hand, arent we all a little hypocritical to some extint? We all have things that we hate to do, but sometimes do them anyway.
For example. I try to always think...

Have you ever lent money to a friend or family member and never got it back, how did this affect your relationship with them?
Yes I have as I suspect most of us have. The best solution is to not lend or borrow. But this is very hard to do in our society. We love to spend what we dont have.
If you borrow, repay it as quickly as possible. If you lend , dont expect it back.

That is the ultimate goal of destructive bahaviours, yes. But like other destructive behaviours, there are some that may get away with it for a while. There are some that may just seem to get away with it for a while.
Playing with destructive behaviours is like gambling. Most of the time, you will loose. You might even to win once in a while, you might get away with playing with it for a...

Answer to:
Is it wrong to want to have sex at age 13?
Yes, it is wrong to have sex at this age. I would not even let my daughter date at that age.
Girls of this age that are having sex usually do so because they did not get enough love from the daddy.
If daddies spent good quality time and loved their daughters more, far fewer, if any, would do this.

I believe 13 is too young for sexual related activities. Do you believe this is correct? Why or why not?
I think I will add a bit more to my answer.
If the dad is spending good quality time with his daughter, the daughter will be more likely not to be looking for sex or even a relationship at this age.
Little girls need the love of their daddies. If they dont get it, they will go looking for it somewhere else.

I believe 13 is too young for sexual related activities. Do you believe this is correct? Why or why not?
13 is way too young. I doubt that Id even let my daughter date until she is older than this.
Reason? At 13, its our job as parents to protect our children, not let them to dumb things that will permanantly scar or even ruin their lives.
At 13, they are not old enough or mature enough to make those kinds of descisions.
Sex is best left to marriage.

1) Pornography feeds lust of the eyes and lust of the flesh, which are never satisfied. It leaves the viewer craving more and more in order to achieve the same "sexual high." It easily enslaves people to their own cravings and opens the door to other forms of evil, like anger, abuse, violence, hatred, lying, envy, compulsiveness and selfishness. The power behind porn is revealed...

Do you believe in free will?
Good Question!
Some believe in a total free will, which means that we are completely free to do anything.
Some believe in a limited Free Will, which means that we do have a free Will but God can intervene and limit it when and if He chooses.
Pre-destination, which says that your destiny is written before you are born would seem to contradict free will.

This is actually a very interesting question. Every generation has thought that they were in the end times. The fact is though they they have all been correct. We have been in the end times ever since Jesus left the bulding.

The easy and short answer to this is God decides who does and does not go to heaven. He is the ultimate judge on things like this.

I dont want to sound like I am defending this behaviour, because Im not. There is no excuse for cheating. However, is is quite possible for a man to cheat and still love his wife.

Answer to:
What is love?
In the beginning, its the warm fuzzies. But those fade away. Whats left is commitment. When those warm fuzies fade away, you are going to have to be committed to stick it out through the god times and bad. If you are not committed, the love will not last.

Why isn't every home in the US being powered and heated by solar energy by now?
Its expensive. I just saw something on the news where this guy installed a system that saves him $700 a year on his electric bill. His meter even runs backwards.
But the system costs em 50k to get and install. So if we take his savings of $700 a year and devide that by 50k, which is what it costs him, it will take him 71 years just to recoop his costs.

I am friends with this girl, and I really like her, but she recently got back together with her ex. She and I do flirt a little. Should I tell her how I feel or just suffer in silence?
This can seem tough, but maybe not. You said she got together with her ex? So they had a prior life toether as a married couple and maybe there are even kids involved.
A guy that has a friendship with a woman that is married and has feelings for that woman is a recipe for dissaster.
If you tell her, you could wind up being the other guy and maybe breaking up her marriage. My advice would be...

How do ya'll feel about older men dating younger women?
Depends on how wide the age difference is. But I think its interesting that the older you get, the less important this is. For example, when I was 18, I would have never dreamed of dating a 8 year old. Yet, not that Im married, the age difference is not that big a deal.
My wife is 10 years my younger, which would have made her 8 when I was 18.

No. Basing a marriage on money is a bad idea. Just like basing it on sex or hotness is a bad idea.
If a marriage is based on sex or hotness, what happens when that wears off?

The answer to your question will largely depend on yours and others stance on Homosexuality. Folks that think that being gay is ok or that you can be born that way or become that might have a point of view that you can wake up one morning and poof...your gay.
Or something else along those lines.
