I'd like to teach myself French. Any resources you can recommend? I've heard good things about Rosetta Stone, but I've never used that myself. Living Language has a really good book/CD program that's pretty affordable on amazon.com, but I have to say that the only way I ever got as far as I have in learning another language was the immersion factor. If you're not afraid to die, that gives you so much that you can live for. I would give anything to stop obsessing about death and letting it hold me back.
