I have used a razor to scrape off most, then steel wool for the little bits left.

Yes, it is possible. I have severe astigmatism in both eyes, and I spoke to a specialist that does only astigmatism lasik. It is expensive, but it can be done. Just make sure you research the doctor thoroughly. Good luck!

I think it is sad that she used that money for personal gain. She should be made to pay it back. There are so many people who never went to college because of the cost (me included) and would have made the most out of such an opportunity. I know of a similar situation where a family got 3/4...

I got mine at 18, since I didn't have a car, and my parents only had the one that my step-father took to work. I walked a lot and took the bus on occasion. Very seldom did I ask for a ride, unless it was at night. When I got a full time job at 18 I bought a used car and then got my license.
