Theoretically. I see it more of a psychological occurrence than a physical one. The "saturation point" is the point we become convinced that "we know it all" or we have the only valid perspective.

I was in a situation like that. My best friend at the time was very harsh and condescending toward his wife. I stayed out of it. I didn't want to ruin our friendship and I didn't want my friend to get the idea I had feelings for his wife. The situation eventually resolved itself....

Why is it unaccepted to think that the universe came about out of nothing, but its all right to think that some higher power can come from nothing (simply exist). . Is it because we have some completely unverifiable documents claiming God exists?

I think it's simpler than that. We find it hard to conceive that nothing produces something. I find it easier to believe that the universe as we know it is the result of some sort form of energy that has been ever present.

I've never taken the story literally, but I've never considered sex to be the "forbidden fruit". I always thought the analogy represented moving away from unconditional acceptance (love) to embracing judgement (seeing one thing as more acceptable than another). ...

Yes. I think the origin of having problems was referred to when man ate of the fruit from the tree of "Knowledge of Good and Evil". There were no problems prior to that. (Who said ignorance is bliss?)

I've been playing since I was 16 (I'm 52) and I still haven't mastered the game. Most people don't, though. Learning the basic moves are easy. Learning enough to enjoy playing is easy too. Few players progress beyond learning the basics.
