How is making people show their picture ID in order to vote, discriminatory?
It isn't. For politicians who want to stuff ballot boxes with fraudulent voters, it's discriminatory. See they want to cheat, so they need to use underhanded tactics to win elections, so they can become slimy politicians who work for private corporations trying to depart you from your money and freedom.
To those people having to show ID to vote would be their downfall. See, in America there...

Answer to:
What are your views on the ban Pitbulls debate?
I think a ban on a breed is retarded. Any large breed of dog can be trained to attack. Many breeds of dogs have been bred to be fighters and attack dogs. Look at law enforcement dogs. Belgian Shepherds, German Shepherds, and Rottweilers are all used as attack dogs because of their intelligence, viciousness, and protective instincts. Along with all of these dogs, pit bulls have been known to be...

Do you take dreams seriously? Are they meaningful or just disjointed and confusing?
I examine them diligently. I don't put much stock in what I find though. It is odd. I research away looking for a meaning and a purpose, then when I find one or both, I doubt the findings. This causes me to just note what I discover and not believe it completely.

Answer to:
Is $700 a month too much child support for one child?
Personally I don't think a child should live with a parent if they cannot afford to take care of them. If the parent has to decide between work or the child and relies on the other parent for child support, then the child should just be remanded to the custody of the parent who can afford the child.

No. The tumult of information offered by the various factions of religious doctrine are so contradictory to each other that it would take years to compile all of the differences between them. None are in agreement with each other about everything, which is why so many different ones exist.

Not anymore. When I was young it was good enough. Now I see it as cheesy. I mean the movie is about teenage witches who were played by 25-30 year old women. Hollywood always does this. I think the answer to that question is a complex one which requires much more room than what we are offered.

Do you think that if in a relationship a woman attacks a man with her fists, that it is okay for the man to give a hit back?
It should be. But it isn't. When a man hits a woman and she retaliates by killing him using a number of different techniques she can get away with murder. If a man were to do the same the jury would say, "sir, you should have just walked away."
What you are asking about is the double standard that exists in Amerikkk-uh regarding violence between men and women. See women have a group out there...

If someone told you they had ESP, what would your reaction be?
I would say, "Prove it."
Believe it or not there is a cash reward for anyone who can prove they have ESP. If they proved they have it and can reproduce it over and over again and again, I would suggest they turn this "gift" into a profit making enterprise.
I would automatically do this if I were one gifted with precognition and I would assume anyone with this gift would do this as well....

"Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned" what do you think?
Women are evil, but hell would be worse than being bound to a pissed off woman. Actually, most women are easy to read. It just takes practice. Women would like to think they are badasses but it is just since the sexual revolution that they have gotten this way. Before when a woman would get ballsy the man would just beat them into submission. Now women get put on a pedestal and can get away...

How do i replace my blown head gasket in a 1991 ford ranger. if possible step by step..
If you have to ask you probably will not succeed. I have a ranger, it takes close to an hour and a half just to change the spark plugs. I suggest you look at buying another vehicle and parting out your ranger. The head gasket is a pain in ass to replace. You have to take apart the whole top end of the motor. Then after you replace the head gasket you have to test out your replacement and ensure...

Do you think there should be public prayer in schools?
A school led prayer should not happen. A student led prayer on the other hand? Well, the school should not restrict students from practicing their faith or keep them from it either. If the school has a moment of scilence and a student leads a prayer, so what? If a teacher, principal, or administrator does it, then that would be wrong. If an administrator or someone affiliated with the school...

No. If I find out they have depression I think to myself that this person is fairly open. We all get depressed. Some people are just more dramatic than others. All I can say is HA! Women want to get pregnant for the security a child in a relationship gives them financially. I know it sounds dumb, but hey we shouldn't judge women so harshly. Many women truly see having children as the best way to secure their financial future. WIC, food stamps, Welfare, Alimony, child support, I mean the list goes on and on. This poll shows exactly what I thought. People think women are more trustworthy when they are just better liars. Here is an article written by a woman that expresses my point. Men admit their infidelity more often and get branded as cheaters. 8-15% of women with children...

The ony reason I say yes, is so I can marry one of my friends and qualify for the tax benefits other married couples get. I know you may say that is messed up and if you're not gay then you shouldn't be able to do that, but gay people marry strait people all the time. Sounds to me like you're describing a mild case. If you have the ability to distinguish between reality and fantasy then you must be aware of the illness and what normal actions are. This is posted under silver coins because copper didn't exist. (Sorry). I've got around 15kg of copper pennies, halfpennies and farthings mostly valueless after 1920's. Does anyone know if there is a scrap value for copper coins?
There is a growing market for copper. Keep them, don't sell them just yet, soon those pennies will be worth more than you can imagine. There is already a guy who is trying to capitalize on the copper market, in the form of a non-profit organization whick collects pennies. But it is a scam which is attempting to sift through all the copper in circulation and just leave the zinc. Copper...

What is your favorite coin you found in circulation?
1939 90% silver quarter, got it in change at WAL-MART. I dropped the change on the counter and I heard a clunk sound, I got a big smile on my face, looked at the lady who gave me the change and said, "Thank you," before I even looked down to veryify I had received silver, because I knew from the sound. I still have the coin, I have had it for probably 4 or 5 years now.
Answer to:
Are the value of coins made before 1964 worth more than ones made after?
American coins before 1965 that have silver are quarters, half dollars, and dimes. War nickles also have 35% silver. 1965-72 half dollars have 40% silver. So, the answer is yes as long as the fall into these categories.

I've got a presidential gold dollar (John Adams) that the "In God We Trust" is printed on the edge different from any I've ever seen. It must be face down to read it. Is there no standard for this or do I have something rare?
If you have one that doesn't say "in god we trust" in the edge then you would have a rare one. There was only one set minted without "in God we trust" on the side of the coins. Find those and you will have something rare. What you have is the common one. They are brand new and those are the way all of the presidential coins will be minted.

Do you feel that Brigham Young made the right decision by recalling all the Latter Day Saints from the San Bernardino "Calif. Colony" in 1857 - and, more importantly, why? I'm interested in considered THOUGHTFUL answers to this MOST intriguing question.
Yes it was a good idea, think of what california would be like if the mormons had stayed, it would suck like salt lake city! If they wouldn't have gathered their forces, California would have corrupted them and their religious movement would have lost steam and probably faded into history. It was a business move. If you had been a Latter Day Saint living in the San Bernardino "Calif. Colony" in 1857 would you have obeyed the Recall Order from Brigham Young and returned to Utah or would you have stayed? Please expound in your answer as to why.
I would have stayed, gone hunting for gold and never looked back. I would have spread anti-mormon propaganda until I died. I would have tried to enlighten those who were trapped by the rediculous and tried to save them from the burdens associated with being trapped in a cult. I hope this helps.

Because they follow the writings of a cult leader who had religious visions and made a group of people feel holier than thou and move to the desert. After this failed to bring about enough people they enacted polygamy to breed their numbers up thus granting them more power. Now they force recruits to be interns within their organization for two years before they can work. This gives them free...

So when you complain to your representative about how they are not doing their job, you can't be called out for not voting. That is really the only reason to vote. Your vote only counts if you win. But they keep track to see if you voted or not. Even if you vote for the loser every time, you still have more of a right to complain than the guy who didn't, in the Govt.'s eyes anyway.

I like president Bush's democracy mission as I love the GOD. And you?
The right decision? He stole two elections to have a war. He appointed a war profiteer to be his Vice President. We all saw it coming and we didn't vote him in because of it, yet the Republicans shifted the vote illegally to get him in there. He will be looked at like we look at Nixon. After Nixon they figured out how to cheat without getting caught, and just waited to implement their new...

Now that the "rescue" bill has passed do you think that the 'oversight' will actually happen? Do you think the government will keep an eye on the corporations they bail out and make sure there are no golden parachutes and the money will be paid back?
The Govt. doesn't want to catch anybody taking money. The officials that passed this, just want to get a cut when they leave office.

Answer to:
What does it mean when people refer to the "glory days" of America? And, what are some examples too?
Glory days are the days we all remember fondly, but of which we were never directly active in. Like the 50s for instance, people associate the 50s with the glory days, they were not. People romanticize periods of time because of commercialism. T.V. has a lot to do with this. The shows and magazines of that specific time are very chipper and happy, when in all actuality the U.S. was anything but...

I realize Obama is a fresh look at American politics in quite some time, but do you think hes still a puppet? Do you think he'll be able to change the country for the better?
They are all puppets. I think it will change when he gets into office because he is not a Republican. For 95% or better of the American public will get more taxes back at the end of the year if he wins. In this country money usually translates into happiness. Better for who and how do you define better? Lower taxes on the middle class and higher taxes on the wealthy. This is standard operating...

Just watched a video of Obama supporters at a Palin rally holding up t-shirts that said"Palin is a c@#t".OK all you Obama supporters here, how do you justify that?
Its anti-Palin propaganda. It's vulgarity may offend but maybe there is a metaphor here. Is it more vulgar to hold that sign against Palin, or stand on stage and support W Bush? I gave +2 for the question. I hope this clarifies for you, why such a deed occurred. Its these sort of things that really detract from the issues. What does this really have to do with anything regarding the...

Doesn't anyone agree that Obama should NOT be President!? Anyone against Obama please answer or comment. I would love to hear your opinions!
I don't think either candidate is worth voting for. I think we need a larger pool of people to pick from. Two people on a ballot to represent 305,000,000 plus people. I don't see how that allows for all the necessary views to be expressed, or represented. Without a larger pool to choose from we will only get one of two. This is an injustice.

Why is this country stuck on just Dems or Reps for president? Why not give another party a chance?
Well the reason is because they are the only two that have any power, and if they gave any support to any other party, it would only detract from their power. There is not another party out there with the propr connections to make an impact on the American public because all of the influential positions are already filled with one of the two, preexisting parties. Media propaganda for the two...

The conspiracy theories are all ridiculous. The Taliban did it. Conspiracies exist because people don't want to believe a onetime American sponsored organization is responsible for 9/11. Its thoughts like these that really detract from the point. It happened, W was in power, it looks bad on him. We tried to create a connection between Iraq and the Taliban to go to war and get Saddam. Yes it will. THC is what they are testing for. If one were to become intoxicated after a "shotgun" then they have successfully ingested THC. Why would you become intoxicated if THC wasn't present in your system? As far as the amount, it would depend on the potency of the marijuana and the size of the hit the "shotgunner" then passed to the "shotgunee", just...

No. She is just a puppet like the rest. Don't worry, her handlers will give her all the direction she needs. No, not really it's just a sound bite used to derail his campaign. He probably won't do half of the things he is talking about, that isn't to say McCain will. They are both politicians, which means they will do what needs to be done and say what needs to be said to get into office. Other than that, we shouldn't take anything either one says to heart.

You have insecurity issues that need to be addressed privately. Asking these sorts of questions to strangers just perpetuates your feeling of self-importance. WHAT D O YOU DO IF YOU FEEL MISERABLE BECAUSE OF COMPLICATED HEATH PROBLEMS?
Address you health problems had on and listen to whatever advice your doctor gives to you. If they say this may help, try it. Don't think it won't work because even if it does you won't believe it does and that defeats the purpose of treatment. A positive attitude can help the healing process more than anything else, you sound pretty desperate for a miracle cure. There probably...

Once in a while when something maybe a little to complicated pops into my head i get a VERY wierd buzz/flash in what i can only descibe as the back of my eyeballs.has anyone else experienced something close to this?could my use of e and shrooms caused it?
Yes psychedelic drug use can change the way you think. Yes ecstasy can give you permanent brain damage, you will of had to take a lot of it, but yes. E can create holes in your brain pathways and ultimately cause brain damage. the good thing is with time those pathways can be re-opened and you can shrug off SOME of the adverse side-effects. The shrooms though, no. There is not any evidence to...

What is your best trait in your pride?
Pride is not an admirable trait. Honor on the other hand is. If one were to feel honored to be a part of something greater than their self would be something but pride is just self-imposed worth. I never have liked the whole be proud thing a proud man is a foolish man. A successful man is a man who knows who he is and what he is up against with the forethought to come out ahead.
Answer to:
Sicknesses tend to cause a chemical imbalance in the body, therefore one could come to the logical conclusion that any sickness alters thought. Is this so?
Do we know that sicknesses cause chemical imbalances in the body? Or do they just cause our white blood cell production to increase? Sickness may alter perception, but so does lighting. Thoughts are thoughts. If you would like to conclude that sickness alters thoughts then you can, but with that same logic you can apply it to many different stimuli.

One of my neighbors has a deep psychological problem. she buys meat at the store, freezes it, and if not used within 30 days, she throws it away. our trash collectors have a ball collecting unfrozen meat from her trash cans. know anyone in this situation?
Why don't you just take it off her hands and cook for the needy or something, one man's trash is another man's treasure. If that lady is going to do it let her then help some people who need instead of letting the garbage man eat it. Take it to a church and have them cook find someone that would like to help out the less fortunate, feed some kids.

My mom thinks I'm "obsessed" with cutting my hair. Could it be possible?
Yes it could be possible, is it probable, no. You are probably just a very changeable person. Your mother on the other hand may be very settled. Clothing reference being if you get hair cuts...

In the UK people who take too much amphetamine and go crazy are sectioned under the mental health act and forced to take anti-psychotics, do you think severe alcoholics should be treated the same only given Antabuse to prevent them drinking?
Alcohol is different than amphetamines. there is a dependency which both manifest, one is a stimulant and the other a depressant. People who took amphetamines altered their brain chemistry and now developed a dependency on certain chemicals being released in the brain, whereas alcoholics retard the brain and kill it slowly by introducing this substance all it does is shut down the functions of...

Do you think that using steroids over a period of time can cause early male menopause? Depression, anxiety and other emotional problems, like rage and drastic mood swings?
Uh, steroids are bad, Mkay. You don't need to worry about male menopause if you take steroids over a long period of time because you will probably be dead from a heart attack or stroke long before any of that happens. I hope you are bald already because you will also go bald. I would not take steroids. If you want to build muscle then, uh, workout. If you already do and you still have a...

Can teens nowadays actually cope with cyber bullying? can they just turn off their handphones upon receiving silents calls?are they willing to?can they even manage stress?
I think teens today are given too much credit because they understand the operating procedures of technology that many adults do not. So, many adults give children credit where it is not due. I think the lack of emotional development is due to the inflated sense of the self that children have from their technologically advanced upbringing. Just because a child can sign onto a computer and...

Well DanDan, stay away from women and other people you need to check yourself into a medical treatment facility for psychosis because there is no reason someone like you should be walking freely among the world of sane people. What was Sigmund Freud's mental stability like? What were his phobias?
I don't know any phobias but he was addicted to cocaine. If you are on cocaine I wouldn't say you are mentally stable. He was the youngest child in his family and his mother's favorite, so he had an inflated sense of self-worth. Other than that he did a lot of coke and thought about his dreams with his colleagues.

How should a teen about 16 who has a bipolar mother that refuses to take any medication for it deal with her mother always making everything he/she does change her mood so easily?
I hope you know that the female is the carrier of genetic mental disorders so what ever issue your mother has you probably have because she passed those disorders to you. I think your best bet would be to remain as non-confrontational with her as possible. I wouldn't avoid her completely, but be as aloof as possible and just be open honest and show her in a calm voice how crazy she is...

If someone is worried about their own personal security, why would they go about dealing with it by trying to fix up their kids with people that are not as well off as they are? Just something I'm wondering about since I see it a lot.
Kids are expensive and the older they get the more expensive they become. I think parents do it to show children how cruel life can be toward the less fortunate. Also, when people find the like they are more apt to be happy. Money does not equal happiness. Content surroundings does. Would you feel safe if you knew you could not provide your child with the expectations they have from your...

Also, what stressors do you have in your life right now? Have you been exercising regularly? If this happens to you and you don't smoke and you regularly exercise you need to see a physician because something is definitely wrong. Is it unusual to feel closer to a relative you've rarely known than to the parents and siblings, etc., you grew up with?
It all depends on the other family member and how you relate to them in a personal way. Also, whatever animosity you have toward your closer relatives can play a part in why you would attach yourself to a family member you do not know. Family allows for people to go out and be exposed to different things than they would normally be exposed to because there is a protector and a guide for them to...

I keep having dreams of my late husband showing up and acting like he is in a big hurry and persistently trying to get me to go with him somewhere, and when i turn to grab one of my kids in the dream..i wake up instantly. What does this mean?
You just miss him and feel like you git shorted by his death. It is nothing more than that. The way you awake just shows how you know the children are just as important as him. When you see him in you dream next remember he is dead and you are not. You are seeing what you imagine him to be. That is you playing him in your dream. Your dreams are reels of footage playing before you as you sleep...

How do you catch dreams?
You don't that is all tradition and only works as a faith based initiative and nothing else. If one believes something then it makes it easier for them to create it. I had to call a friend when I woke up today. But in my dream last night I was calling him and the call died. I tried again and the number was gone from the phone and I could remember all but one number when I tried to dial it myself. What could that mean?
This just shows that you have communication issues. The telephone allows people very far apart to communicate and in a dream it isn't the phone companies system that is down it's yours. Maybe there is a reason for the disruptions that are out of your control. Work on expressing yourself with that person if they are close enough to do so, so you can understand why it is that you...

What does it mean to dream of being bitten by many different snakes at one time? I was not hurt, and all bites were on my legs. But each snake was distinct in size and shape and color. Help!!
Being bitten by a snake is not good at all. There is a compulsive thought that is holding you back from overall good health. The snake is the symbol of the physician. The serpent influenced Adam and Eve to eat from the tree of knowledge. Animals represent compulsive thoughts. What bad habits do you have? What is holding you back from being healthy? This is the message stop killing yourself or...

You share something in common with him. You may have been attracted to him and feel like that is the one that got away and your mind is trying to give you the closest thing to him which is your own personal reproduction of him. Remember you are everyone in your dreams and he is just your image of what/who he is. It is not him. You may wish to have children and is the children are present in the...

Why would I dream about having sex for money (something I would never do) with some one I despise and think is mentally retarded?
Sexual intercourse is the act of creation. If you do not intend to create children unless there is a supreme ideal mate and there is not one of that caliber available to you there may be a shared subconscious thought with your dream john so to speak. Money also in the equation shows how materialistic you are toward the opposite sex. The idea that there is an exchange of money with sex in a...

How do you deal with depression, mood disorder, and anxiety? I often find myself thinking of suicide when I'm feeling down, and it's starting to bother me.
There has to be something that correlates with your depression. Search inside yourself for the answer to what would make you happy. If there is a void where you feel there should not, fill it with the appropriate matter. Fear holds most people from realizing happiness. People fear change and if sadness and grief or thoughts of death has kept you alive until now then why change? Well, so you can...

I think the idea that there are people out to get you and plotting to get you is a symptom of schizophrenia regardless of who they may be. Is dermatillomania or compulsive skin picking a form of self mutilation?
Of course it is. An individual inflicts harm upon their own person, thus self-mutilation. Look up the definition of self, then mutilation and you should be able to deduce the broad spectrum of qualified scenarios. That is a very general question and it answers itself. Self-harm is self-harm.

Explain the difference between buying into the mysticism of a religion and exaggerated magical thinking, which is defined as a symptom of abnormal psychology or psychosis?
Religion was created to control people's abstract thoughts. If mysticism is what is the alternative to religion then there would be something to discuss, but exaggerated magical thinking compared to philosophy is a bit of a stretch. Ignorance breeds more ignorance. If there is an anti-establishment view of religion that is to be idealized by the individual then a more common sense approach...

I had a dream about my boyfriend dieing in a car accident. Needless to say, his friend have the same dream about him dieing in a car accident too. How can that happen and what does that mean?
A car is the actual self, your self not his. To see the accident as something that could happen is crazy. You both share a realization about yourselves. You may see your boyfriend as someone wreckless and maybe you share that personality trait with him, passionate nature would be another way to look at it. The friend is aware of this similarity and it probably is one of the reasons he and him...

These men represent known aspects of your subconscious self. They are patterns in your thought process that are diplayed in front of your eyes in your dream. What does each represnt in the dream? Both are a marrying kind of person to you. Maybe there is a trait you identify with that each exhibit and that trait greatly influences your choice of potential mate. By best-friend do you mean boyfriend? Because that sounds to me like a love story in the making. Nude behavior is a feeling of freedom and openess a sort of pride. Since the two of you are together there is an aspect you share with him that allows for this shared openess and the literal connection to the floor being ripped out from under you could be a shocking realization you shared with him...

you asked this long ago. Did the man ever materialize or has this fantasy been indulged? If you wonder what it means then you may not realize your own projections of what romance is or what your fantasies are. Women don't masterbate to porn because they can see it in their head better than a photographer can capture it. This is just a begining to a love story that didn't have time to...

Why do we place so much importance in the way we look? Is it one of those primal instincts? (Bigger/prettier animal gets more mates) or has it been conditioned in us for the benefit of retailers? i.e. make-up,surgery,designers?
Is there any one answer to that question or don't you think they all apply to the idividual ? I would have to say there are only sociological reasons for it, but there are psychological reasons for it as well and competition is at the fore of that aspect.

For the past 3 weeks I have started the bad habit of biting my nails uncontrollable, How do I stop? I don't know if its because of how I haven't been happy where I work or with my current relationship.
i am a palmist. Biting your nails is a sign of inner emotional turmoil. There has to be an exterior or interior change that has promted this activity. The fingers in which you bite have a direct connection to the area of you life that is causing strain. Pinky is always money matters. Ring is relationships. The pain overshadows other problem areas of their life and allows them to focus on cutting theirself instead of facing whatever horror caused their aversion from normality.
