There are a couple of shampoos (one of them is called "Rid") you can buy over the counter that come with very fined toothed combs to help get them out. You also have to wash all their bedding in hot water (and I added RID to the wash) and use a double rinse cycle.

Okay, apart from super soakers and hiding from Rabbis (thanks, newbie ABers... >:^{ ) what is the best way to glaze a ham? I mix 1/2 C yellow mustard with 1/4 C brown sugar. Then I score the top of the ham and drizzle the glaze over it making sure it goes down into the cuts. I take the ham out about every 20 minutes to scoop up the glaze in the pan and drizzle it over the ham again. Then about 20 minutes before it's done, I put pineapple slices on the top and return it to the oven to finish baking. +5

The annoying thing about bangs is that they inevitably get too long before you're ready for another haircut, especially now with the bang styles being so long. Plus bangs can cause zits on foreheads. I brush my teeth twice a day and floss ocassionally. However, I still have reallly bad breath. What can I do to stop this? Chew on mint leaves? (I do not chew gum or eat mints by the way) You should definitely see both a doctor and a dentist to make sure that there isn't some other problem causing the bad breath. But in the meantime, eat at least one container of yogurt (with active cultures in it) every day. Yogurt replaces good bacteria in your system - sometimes the bad bacteria can cause bad breath.

If you try and speak to someone in a grocery store line or gas station, they look at you as if you were crazy. Should there be a rule that car horns should not be used in residental areas? There's a person in my apartment complex who parks right outside my bedroom window and is always honking their horn. It would never work. In three states where I have lived it's illegal to use your car horn for anything other than to warn another driver that there may be an accident (i.e. if they start to move into your lane without seeing you). In spite of it being illegal, people use their horns for all sorts of other reasons and no tickets are given out.

I feel very offended that a male colleague did not respond to my text asking how he was getting on since the breakdown of his relationship. I suppose the answer is back off. I thought I was showing genuine concern particularly as he voiced the problem. You did show genuine concern which was really nice. But you may want to cut him some slack. Maybe he didn't feel like he could convey his feelings in a text. Try calling him instead or drop by his office to ask.

Have you ever been truly sorry for something you did but can't change the outcome? Yes. When I was 8 years old, I took a bracelet from a friend of my parents that was staying with us. Then I hid it. By the time I found the bracelet the woman and her husband had passed away and my parents had no idea where any of the family members were. The laws differ from one state to the next, so you may have to check with your attorney. What do you do with a 6 year old grandchild who has few manners and comes to visit for two weeks? Would you try to force manners on her? Would you let it go? My grandchildren all understand that while I want them to have fun at my house, they have to follow my rules which include good manners. It was difficult with the oldest because he wasn't at my house much when he was small, but after a couple of visits he understood and has been great ever since.

A lot of peopel just ask random questions and answer questions they don't know for points... for example.. this is kind of a random question (but I bet I will get neg points). I've used Yahoo and didn't find it any more helpful than Answerbag. I think regardless of the site, it just depends on who is on-line and answering questions. Sometimes you get more and better answers than other times.

I know that when we adopted our daughter, the social worker said that both her parents were very somber, although that could have been by virtue of giving up their baby for adoption. All of the animals we have we have always rescued. do you rescue animals or buy them. you can get anything you want at your local animal shelter,and help save them from a horrible death.so what do you think? I'm a firm believer in getting pets from an animal shelter. Although, neither of the dogs I currently have were in shelters, we rescued them. One was left in the backyard by the owners when they moved. The other was a puppy that chewed through it's owner's oxygen tubes so they had to find a home for her or take her to the shelter.

Our kitten chews on wires, takes his claws and claws at the couch. Should we discipline him? Or if not what do we do? Do you have a scratching post for him and toys that are acceptable and safe for him to chew on? If you do, then when he misbehaves, divert him with the acceptable things. And when he does use them (the scratching post and the toys) as he should, reward him. If you don't have them, make sure you get them - he really needs to have something acceptable for him to scratch on and chew on.

My boyfriend has anger problems, and seems to take his anger out on me (not psyically) What are some ideas to help him through this? He see's a psychologist but its really getting no where. His anger is making him depressed. He needs to keep seeing a psychologist - it takes time, but it will help eventually. Some ways he can deal with his anger without hurting anyone are: Get a punching bag to punch until the anger eases. Stand at a mirror and tell whomever he's mad at off - he can yell it, swear, and anything else that helps him let off steam.

I loved the Rocky Mountains making Colorado, Utah, and Wyoming nice options, but then you get a very distinct 4 seasons in the Northeastern states. All the states on either the west or east coast offers easy access to the ocean, etc. Personally, I like living in Texas because it's close to my daughter and grandchildren.

Have you ever done any kind of challange? My fiance bets I can't eat ramen noodles for thirty days straight, nothing else. I probably can't but Im going to try. Today is day one. I haven't done any challenges with food. There are several things you can do to make the Ramen noodles more interesting - try mixing up an egg and adding it to the soup. You can also add various vegetables (my daughter's favorite in ramen soup was always carrots).
