How can I choose what I want to do with my life when I'm only a junior in high school and hasn't lived in the real world yet.
You may not be able to choose exactly what you want, but you can get a general idea. That way, if you need a college degree to do what you want, you can prepare for it. When you start college, you can start by taking your general education requirements (English, Sciences, & Math) until you know what you want. A councelor would be able to help you pinpoint your interests. +5

What is the cheapest and best way to eliminate fire ants from around the house?
Amdro sprinkled around the anthills will kill them. A citrus spray such as orange oil sprayed around the perimeter of the inside of the house will help prevent them from coming in.
They also have a tendency to follow a path that previous ants have used, so if you notice ants coming in from somewhere, clean the area and then spray the citrus oil.

Answer to:
How can I get my husband to clean, cook, go shopping, etc. I've tried talking to him about it but maybe I'm not saying it right. I work more hours and make twice what he does (I don't tell him that tho).
Make a list of houshold chores including paying bills and the amount of time each takes to complete. Then tell your husband that you want more quality time with him. You can then divide (if he agrees) the chores so that you both spend about the same amount of time working on chores. It worked really well for my husband and me.

Has anyone else noticed that if you have a negative comment about Obama you seem to get a lot of negative feedback/points? Why is that?

Any ideas for decorations for my wedding? My colors are yellow and pink. Bridesmaids are in yellow dresses. Its an outside wedding with an indoor reception in June. I don't know where to put the pink other than the flowers?? Any help?
You can use pink on the table decorations. My daughter had a very casual wedding and we picked wild flowers and put them in different sizes and shapes of vases with bandannas in her colors tied around the vases.

There are a couple of shampoos (one of them is called "Rid") you can buy over the counter that come with very fined toothed combs to help get them out.
You also have to wash all their bedding in hot water (and I added RID to the wash) and use a double rinse cycle.

Not everyone is like that, but there are a lot of people who seem to prefer to focus on the negative rather than the positive.

You should definitely see both a doctor and a dentist to make sure that there isn't some other problem causing the bad breath. But in the meantime, eat at least one container of yogurt (with active cultures in it) every day. Yogurt replaces good bacteria in your system - sometimes the bad bacteria can cause bad breath.

It would never work. In three states where I have lived it's illegal to use your car horn for anything other than to warn another driver that there may be an accident (i.e. if they start to move into your lane without seeing you). In spite of it being illegal, people use their horns for all sorts of other reasons and no tickets are given out.

If you have children, and you are dating, how long before they can or you think should met your new person?
I believe that the length of time depends on several things including the age of the children. If they're young, you might not want them to meet someone until you know that there's a good chance of a permanent relationship. It can be very difficult for kids to meet someone and grow to care for them only to lose them from their lives.

Wow, this is an old question. I hope y'all have resolved the issue. However, if not, try:
Have a "date" night once a week for just you and your spouse.
Get away for a week-end - even if you just stay at a hotel nearby. Use the time for just the two of you. And while you're there, use a "sexual position" die or a game (they have several games that can really...

LADIES: Do you feel, no matter the length of the marriage, that you're entitled to alimony? If there are children involved, I understand child support but why should he have to support YOU? Especially if you're an able bodied adult and have no children...
For the most part, alimony is history. When it is allowed, it's generally temporary. If the wife doesn't work outside the home during the marriage, temporary support allows her time to find a job.
I don't have a problem with that or with granting temporary alimony to a man in the same situation.
I do, however, think that in this day and age, alimony should not be granted on...

If it was something small, I'd just play it by ear- usually I knew what my daughter was guilty of and what she wasn't.

This is always difficult as it's hard to be objective about ourselves. Go to a small dress store (not a department store) because they usually employ people that know fashions and what looks good on people. Then ask a couple of the clerks there for their opinions. It's also a good idea to have a good friend (who will be brutally honest, it necessary) to have her confirm the opinions.

The laws differ from one state to the next, so you may have to check with your attorney. However, for the most part, the law is written so that the non-custodial gets to spend time with his/her children. So I'm betting that you are under no obligation to send them, since your ex isn't going along and the kids don't really want to go.

A great deal - not only to earn the right to have them in your city, but also to get ready for them. When they had the Olympics in Utah, the state spent millions of dollars adding and redoing roads to be able to handle the traffic. And I'm sure there are other expenses as well.

Is there a characteristic or trait of your personality that you fully attribute to one (or both) of your parents?
I attribute the fact that I rarely get sick to both my mother and father. They always said (from the time I was a baby), "We don't get sick often - we're from hearty stock." I think that the mind can be a powerful thing. None of the four children in my family ever got a cold or the flu. One of us had chickenpox and one of us got the measles and that was it.

I'm a firm believer in getting pets from an animal shelter. Although, neither of the dogs I currently have were in shelters, we rescued them. One was left in the backyard by the owners when they moved. The other was a puppy that chewed through it's owner's oxygen tubes so they had to find a home for her or take her to the shelter.

Our kitten chews on wires, takes his claws and claws at the couch. Should we discipline him? Or if not what do we do?
Do you have a scratching post for him and toys that are acceptable and safe for him to chew on? If you do, then when he misbehaves, divert him with the acceptable things. And when he does use them (the scratching post and the toys) as he should, reward him. If you don't have them, make sure you get them - he really needs to have something acceptable for him to scratch on and chew on.

Answer to:
What's a good way to motivate friends to do more fun, wholesome, outdoor activities?
Pick several fun, wholesome, outdoor activities and then tell your friends to pick their favorite. By having the suggestions ready, nobody has to think about what to do, and yet by giving them a choice of which one, you give them they buy-in to the idea.
