Obese people due to medical conditions: What happens if they eat just a salad and an egg per day or equivalent? I am on such a diet and simply lifting light dumbells while watching TV I am losing tons of weight. What would happen if they did the same?
That's a legitimate question. Unfortunately, metabolisms in everyone are different. Also, a salad and an egg a day doesn't sound very healthy to me, so it's no wonder you are losing so much weight. You still need a certain amount of nutrients in your body.

There is this guy that I know that I find physically attractive. To add onto that, I also think he has a great personality. However, we are just friends but this other guy I know thinks that because I think this it means I like the guy. Who's right?
Typically, if YOU like someone, then YOU would know it. However, sometimes we subconciously may find someone attractive but our concious won't let ourselves believe it. And maybe this other guy is just saying that because HE likes YOU.

Customers are often complained about. Have you ever met a customer that really made your day?
I worked at Kroger when I was in highschool and was one of those rare cashiers that really like dealing with the public and was always nice to customers. This lady and her children came through and I spoke to them and talked with them and such. One of my co-workers told me happy birthday and the lady asked how old I was, so I told her. She came back through my line again about 10 minutes...

With ANY cell phone you should always let your phone get down to the last of it's batter before you charge it. If you start charging it when the battery isn't empty, it will "train" the battery not to hold a long charge. I charge mine once the battery meter turns red and starts beeping. It takes 2-3 hours to charge and can last me up to 3 days depending on how much I have...

I don't know how old you are, but if you are in school then you should try going to see the school counselor. If things don't get better, I would go see a doctor and see if they have any advice. I hope things...

7 hrs a Day * 3 days = 21 hours
21 hours * $8/hr = $168

As a child of divorce, yes it is wrong to stay for the child. My parents remained in a loveless marriage for 6 years after seperating for the first time for the me and my sister. It only did more emotional damage. If you are going to do it, then do it now.

I live with my dad, so my bedroom would be the only room in question. I have changed looks probably 5 times in the last 6 or 7 years. Part of it depends on how much money you have to spend on redecorating. I like to go to garage sales and find small pieces and keep them put away for when the day comes that I decide to rearrange and redecorate again.

When I visit my parents my mom wants me to clip her indoor cat's claws. My father always protests and says "it's not good for the cat". Any professional thoughts or opinions on what is best for kitties?
I clip my cats nails with cat nail clippers about once a month. It may not be comfortable for them, but it's much more humane than declawing them. As long as the cat shows know signs of discomfort afterwards, and you aren't cutting into the quick (sp), it should be fine.

I feel like if I had commented to an answer that was left on one of my questions, that it might have turned into the biggest argument I've ever had. But since I discredit that person's words because of the way they use them, I decided to leave it alone. Thus possibly avoiding WW3! :)

How can you be sure to "hit it off" with a friend that you aren't very close to when you really like each other?
I'm not sure there's much to assure that you will "hit it off." Generally when that happens, the people have many things in common, therefore it seems like the pair is a really good match and you "hit it off." If you have some of the same interests, it will probably happen. But even friendships have chemistry too and you could be virtually the same person as far...

Some people get turned on by anything sexual they see. It's natural. But if you have to ask yourself if you are a lesbian, and you have had thoughts about having sex with another girl...then maybe you should try it and see. Ladies...do you own a sex toy? If so, what kind is it and how often do you use it? Do you prefer to use it alone or with your partner?
I have a collection of about 6 different toys, but most frequently I use my bullet vibe. I also like my Doc Johnson jelly vibrator. I use it anywhere from 3 - 5 times a week depending upon my stress level. I'm single, so I use it alone.

The episode where this family of vampires lives down the street from this kid and keeps bags of blood in their freezer.
I also like the one about the family that sleeps in plastic containers, but that may be from Eerie in Indiana.

What do you believe, but cannot prove?
I like to believe that places like Narnia, Oz, Wonderland...etc...do exist. Maybe it's just hope that this hellacious life is not all that exists while we are still on earth.

When you listen to music, what's more important...the beat or the lyrics?
According to my 8th grade science teacher, it is the beat of the music that gets you "hooked" to it. I agree somewhat since there are some songs that I dispise but am constantly singing the "beats" to.
A song has to have a good combo of both for me to be able to truly appreciate it.

What do you think about it when a single user writes multiple answers to the same question (no judgment, just asking for opinions). Should he/she incorporate his/her responses into one answer?
I am guilty of that, and probably should have just edited my original answer with an add on, but didn't think about that till later.

If you don't know something, would you say you don't know?
My sister used to always make fun of me if someone used a word and I would ask that person what the word meant. I suppose she thought it showed mental weakness. I think it shows a desire to learn and not sit there and be ignorant. Never be afraid to admit you don't know something because it will usually lead to a learning experience.

There was a television series in the 1950's called "Lost In Paradise." (I think).
Could you confirm the title, dates and let me know who starred in that program?
I went back and found this:
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0045607/
There was a show from 1953 called Captain's Paradise. Maybe this is the one?

I went to http://www.imdb.com (internet movie database) and could not find it there. Maybe the title is incorrect, because they usually have just about every movie and television show you can think of. You might go there and try searching a few key words.

Do you notice that liberals are quick to give negs on anything they don't agree with whereas conservatives are more likely to accept other veiwpoints? I do. It is very obvious at this site and I find it ironic. Don't you?
This is the great thing about opinions. Everyone has one on every subject. I consider myself middle of the road, maybe leaning a little more toward the conservative side and I'm pretty open minded and willing to listen and accept other view points. However, I know people who have the same "middle of the road, leaning a little more to the conservative side" who won't...

Answer to:
I am very different (social-wise) when I talk to girls online compared to when I see them in person, is this a sign of anything? I keep wondering why I'm like always like that.
The internet allows us to be who we feel like we are without the judgement from people around us, most of the time. I'm a flirtatious person by nature, but the fact that I am not a man's idea of a perfect woman makes it so that I would never be flirtatious with random people in real life. The goal is to try and bring these two people together into the person you really are.

Is it hard for you to tell someone that you love them?
Heck yes it's hard. Telling someone, anyone, that you love them shows them that you care. Showing someone you care can allow them to hurt you whenever they want. It's natural to be cautious about showing or telling anyone that you love them.

What's the most beautiful thing anyone has ever said to you?
Yesterday my sister and I were teasing each other. She made a comment about how I shouldn't have any friends. My 8 year old cousin turned to her and said "It's easy for her to make friends. She's so good looking!"
That seems kind of shallow, but it just made my day! I don't consider myself good looking at all, and for my little cousin to say it was too cute.

Why does it seem like time goes faster as you get older?
For me, personally...when I was younger I was always waiting for some point in time to arrive. When you are constantly waiting for something, it seems like it takes FOREVER. Also, I wasn't that aware of my mortality. Now that I am 25, I'm quite aware that I do have an expiration date, I want to hold on to time. It's when we want to hold on to something, that we seem to lose...
Answer to:
How can you help your dogs mate?
Take your female dog to the vet and they can do a smear to see if she is ready to breed. If she is ready, the best thing to do is to put them together several times and if she stands for breeding, she should be ready. It make take several tries for her to become pregnant. This is the basic idea. If they won't mate, they CAN do artificial insemination.

What was your first alcoholic drink?
I used to take sips of my mom's wine when I was little. I remember it being tingly on my tounge. After that when I was in junior high, my dad kept a frosty mug full of coke in the fridge and I would get a drink of it from time to time. Well, I took a sip one time and it had bourbon in it. That's the last time I took a sip of his coke. When I was an adult, my first drink was a...

This "wild front ear" was called "wild" because it was actually an extra ear located right infront of his right ear. It was small so he was able to cover it up with the racoon tail from his coon skin hat.

Have you ever been do drunk you had a homosexual experience? My friends husband claims he was just having fun I say he's just gay
I would say this is something that your friend's husband has been thinking about or wanting to do on a possibly subconcious level. We tend to do things when we are drunk that we would never consider in real life.
