Has anyone have an opinion of Dura-Coat as a means of finishing a firearm instead of traditional blueing? If you want to cover up some blemishes on an old firearm with little fuss, Alumahyde II is good for that. Cheap and easy from Brownells. If you want a really nice finish on an expensive piece use traditional blueing or manganese phosphate matte black.
