I have these horrible thoughts go through my mind that are not MY thoughts! How do I make these thoughts go away? You must understand thoughts fillup the space in mind when it is empty. You try to take control of the mind by thinking good things. Follow the "horrible" thoughts keenly, you will find that they would vanish soon. Chanting of the holy name is one of the easy methods for this. Understand "You" are different from "mind".
