Check the pins on the monitor cable going into the computer, make sure none of them are bent. If that's not it, most likely either your monitor or video card is broken. To narrow it down, you can try plugging a different monitor in and see if it works. If not, your video card is probably dead. If it does, then your monitor is probably toast.

It doesn't sound like you're going to be able to use one of the large outdoor antenna's if you're in an apartment complex. So you're going to be stuck with some sort of indoor antenna. Thanks Without actually seeing your laptop, it sounds like mechanical failure. But you may want to check and see if the number lock or scroll lock keys are activated. Laptop users are experiencing dropped connections from our Citrix server after 15 minutes. This only effects users with Verizon Aircards. Other wireless connections to Citrix work fine. We are using Win 2003 on the Citrix server & Win XP on the laptop. I would imagine you're experiencing high latency or packet loss over the cell network. I would recommend doing some connection tests from the laptop over the Aircard to the Citrix server.
