Answer to:
Why do gay women get the pleasant name "Lesbian" but gay men only get the nasty name "Fag"?
Actually, "fag" is really only used in the USA as an insult. In Europe, it refers to a cigarette.
Yes, dyke is just as bad, and yes, gay men get a lot of mean names. But think for a second. Picture "gay". Generally what comes to mind is a man. Therefore, more male-based names. Chalk it up to human nature.

Answer to:
"Marriage" is the religious union between one man and one woman. Why the need to use the same term to join same sex couples? Why is calling these unions "domestic partnerships" offensive if allowing these couples the same legal rights as married couples?
Because the term "Domestic Partnership" means something different than "marraige" in the eyes of the law.
For example, my parents had a domestic partenership before they decided to get married. Whenever my dad had problems with his diabetes and had to go see the doctor, my mom wasn't allowed in the room with him to hear what the doctor said. Now that they are married,...

Answer to:
Do you think Tila Tequila is a role model?
I wouldn't say 'role model,' but it is nice to see more diversity on television. Some of my bisexual friends from FindBilover.com like her show very much. Also, this show seems less faked and staged than its VH1
I appreciatate that she's comfortable enough with her sexuality to be able to do a show like this and be open with who she is. I wouldn't necessarily call her a role model, simply because of the type of show that it is, where she's dating all these people at once. But I respect her openness and honesty on the show... I'm a loyal watcher. (I hope she picks Danny!)

US GLBT people were you aware of this? I wasn't. Congratulations. ---see answer
Yes, I knew about this weeks ago, because I'm a member of HRC. Everyone should join, because you can help influence your representatives by sending them letters, emails, faxing them, and calling them to help support bills like these. The HRC is truly amazing, and Joe Solmonese is a wonderful guy.
But yeah, it's a great step towards a better future for the LGBT community.

For those of you who are bisexual or gay...when did you know you were and when did you 'come out'?? :)
I first had an inkling (that I was bi) when I was thirteen, because I developed a crush on a girl(a lesbian). Well, she ended being my first girlfriend, shortly after I came out. That was in March or February of last year.

The very first time I heard it, it was LGBT, so that's what I say now. Plus, my girlfriend is a lesbian, so she says it that way too. It rubs off.
and while I agree that we should just do a way with the label, unfortunately, labels are a part of society. They are always going to be a part fo society, and it's our way of separating people into classifications. We seperate everything...

Answer to:
Should i be offended if someone calls me a "full-blown bisexual"?
I would say that being a "full-blown" bisexual is not a bad thing. For example, someone could say that a lesbian is "full-blown", and that would mean that she is blatantly lesbian. Or even not blatantly, but that she is unwavering in her sexual orientation.
So a "full-blown" bisexual would be someone who definitely goes both ways, and it doesn't seem like...

The same thing happened to me, literally. My best friend is a lesbian and two years ago she told me that she liked me. I thought I was straight.
You should explore your feelings, definitely. If you don't you'll always wonder about what could have been. One thing I would be careful of, though, is to try and preserve your friendship if things don't work out. No matter what, you...

I have read this man's letter adressed to all Wiccans and I don't really understand what his point is. Could anyone please explain it to me? (I will post letter as answer).
It appears that this man is sort of preaching. He is taking his life experiences, and the way he has dealt with them, and reaching a conclusion about what he believes is the true religion. It also seems that this man is trying to get other people to believe it too, and in a way that has come to be associated with people who force their religion on others.

In general, my girlfriend and I are rather neural when it comes to who is more masculine and who's more feminine. SHe's taller than I am, so that has a lot to do with the way we hug and everything, but that's more of a comfort thing.... I suppose if I really had to say, I would say that I'm the more feminine one because I'm the one who's more likely to wear makeup...

I don't really think that whether or not they can get married has anything to do with it. While it's true that since gay couples can't get married, they are more likely to have sex, but the same amount of people would want to save sex, I assume, if marriage were to be legalised

Absolutely. It's also possible for that to change. I know quite a lot of bisexuals, and many of them lean one way more than another all the time, and some of them change which sex they prefer. I've done the exact same thing. I joke around with one of my guy friends all the time, calling him more gay than straight. It's perfectly natural.

Do love potions or spells really work?
Surprisingly, you actually have to put FAITH into believing it will work. Also, to accurately cast a love spell, you would probably have to cast some version of a circle (which I do not reccomend doing for your very first time). However, casting certain types of love spells, such as upon a specific person, are considered by many to be black Magick because it interferes with a person's free...

What is hell?
Hell is the Christian concept of a place that a soul would go to if it has sinned enormously throughout its lifetime. Another reason the soul may reside in hell is if it had not been completely faithful to god or christ.

Is there a holy book, like the Bible, in the Hindu religion?
Although the Bhagavad-Gita is similar, I wouldn't call it equal to the Bible. It does however, give very accurate information about the religion for people wishing to convert to Hinduism. But for this religion, the best information is learned by attending poojas and talking to elders.

Answer to:
In Wicca, is there a difference between "white magick" and "black magick"?
The difference I see in white magick and black magick is mostly the intention. There are certain things I see as forbidden, such as casting a spell that works against someones free will. Extreme weather magick is another thing I don't agree with, but I think it really is about what you feel about it. There are, of course, obvious things that are forbidden to all Witches, like harming...

Is being Christian/Wiccan a contradiction?
It depends on what you actually believe. Do you believe that Witches should go to hell? Then it is a contradiction. A friend of mine is trying to conform herself to being Christian/Wicca, and she believs in everything Wicca has to offer SPIRITUALLY. It actually seems to come out almost the same as ordinary Wicca, without the many gods and goddesses

Answer to:
What are some reasons Wiccans convert from other religions?
One reason I converted was because I didn't think that my old religion was right, and so I started actuallly forming my own beliefs. I then started a process of learning about other religions that fit my newly-formed beliefs, and happened to stumble upon Wicca. I am now a member of the religion, and a full practitioner of the Craft.

In the movie Titanic Leonardo has a sweet part. How does he do it?
Well, if you've seen any of his other movies, he has very lovely parts in some of those. He probably does quite a bit of reaserch for most of his parts, especially that particular one. Other than that, he just a very talented(and in my opinion very hot) actor.
