Do people ever get over their first loves? Say you started dating in in your senior year of high school and fall in love, does this mean when you're like 25 you will still be in love with them despite whoever ur dating now?
My first boyfriend, and first love,and I from high school went out for a bit over a year back then. This is 25 years and 2 divorces for each of us later, and we started dating again last fall. We have fallen back in love and it kind of feels like both of us has been searching for one another all along. Sometimes you just don't get over that first love.

Have you ever tougue kissed a coworker on a drunking night but you are still able to be friends after?
Well, not actually kissed, because he'd just gotten his tongue pierced, but I gave him a bj one night after work, because he turned me on so much. We still talk and see each other. It was consensual and we still have the same relationship as before pretty much.

Here's my newest poem as of today, for those of you asking for more or continuation of previous work. What do you think of this one? (See my answer)
Whimsical sense
~~~~~~~~~~
Falling out of bed,
I landed on my head.
When the moon was high,
I looked up in the sky,
and I wished that I could fly.
In the time it took to turn around,
I saw that you weren't there,
you were nowhere to be found,
in my world where all was purple,
and I was brown.
They said that time could fix it soon,
I thought you had hung...
Chance
If I'd have known it was my only chance,
I'd have taken that dance,
I'd have walked that walk,
and made that turn.
If I'd have only known,
and seen it coming,
I could have said yes,
and taken the chance,
the only one I was likely to get.
Now you'd be there,
more inside of my head than ever,
I'd...
Rubbing it clean,
polishing it smooth,
Have you ever felt you were falling in love with someone but you knew it could never be?
Yes, I certainly have a couple of times already. Seems to be something I put myself through on a sporadic basis... some personal form of emotional self-torture, from my own point of view, especially when I know they'd most likely never be in love with me.
Did you ever fall so in love with someone that you wish you'd never met them?
Yes, and ex-boyfriend whom I put up with way more than I ever should have from in the 6 months we together. He was physically cruel a couple of times and cheated on me many times. I kept on thinking he'd change and the rumors weren't true, until he just plain left me for a MUCH younger girl, and they left town.
How many push ups should you do a day
It depends on what you want to achieve. If you're just looking for a bit of toning, you want to go to about 25 to 30 first and work up to what you're comfortable with. If you're looking to really add muscle, maybe push-ups aren't enough of an arm workout, and you may want to try weight lifting, boxing or martial arts.
I agree with most of the responses here. I am not comfortable with PDA from most any couple in excess. Even a prolonged kiss makes me feel like I shouldn't be there, because I am intruding. Affection is a good thing, but when people seem to do it just to show off or something, it's just not nice to others in the vicinity.
Please someone advise me if they were in my shoes i am 46 and trying to work my marriage out i am torn between my affair and my husband i want to fall back inlove with my husband but its hard when i still have feelings for the other guy too
You can't really make yourself fall in love with someone, whom you don't feel the same for anymore, especially under pressure. People change, and lives change. Giving it time will make things work out the way they were meant to end up.
If it was emotional, it may take a long time. Emotions take a long time to straighten out, and sometimes never become the way you feel good with again.
I am seriously thinking about ending my life. I was laid off from my job and at the age of 27 forced to move into my mother's basement. I can't find work even though I try like hell everyday. I have no friends, no boyfriend. My life is a nightmare.
Life is always going to have its ups and downs. I've had several times when my life seemed to be so awful that it wasn't worth living. When I was 23 I was separated from my husband and went to live in my parent's basement. I had my Bachelor's degree, and still nothing really going for me. Centered, because we have one plug in in the room, and large windows on the opposite side of the room from that. This means the tv (yeah, I know) has to be near the plug and the bed can't be, nor can it sit on the odd shaped wall with the windows.
Sometimes it actually is, that's the reason for the way it's organized, so people can choose the categories they want to look through, and question about.
I have never liked Spongebob. I have even often forbidden by 10 year old from watching it in my presence, and explained why. It's just so pointless.It's like Seinfeld in cartoon form, almost. I have watched enough to know that occasionally there is almost a lesson in the episodes, but it's still pointless and dumb.
What should a man do when his wife is against him at every turn?
Quit turning those corners and just turn around. Ask her what is the real issue here, and if you can work together to try and solve it. You both really have to be willing to talk it through, and then actually work it through, also. Compromise on things together and try to see things from each other's points of view.
I was bullied quite a bit when I was in school. I was always the small kid, and then the weird kid who dressed odd. I always kind of felt sorry for the ones who were bullies, because they were really the ones who had issues with self-esteem, due to their home lives.
From what I can tell on the original deed, our house was built in 1892. This is only about 15 years after the town we live in was established. I am guessing we need to be a bit careful about what kinds of things we do to it, for historical purposes.
No, it is not. Christians celebrate these holidays as Christian holidays to give glory to God, and show how much they love him. Christmas is celebrated to rejoice in the birth of Jesus. Not a good idea, no. Children at this age are just mimicking what they hear, and it is best to make sure they understand that these words are not something they should be saying, through telling them calmly that they shouldn't say that, and to ask maybe if they know where they heard it. My 3 year old keeps saying things like Stupid and poopy, so I tell him that he shouldn't say it...
When I used to work in a jewelery store, a set of what looked like Mexican parents came in and had their baby girl's ears pierced when she was just above the age rule limit for the store. Ladies, when was the last time you wore a gown?
I guess my first wedding dress, was probably a gown, so it would have been in August of 1989. I refused to have a wedding "gown" for my second one. Instead I had a beautiful deep purple velvet dress put together, with a slightly medieval theme to it, just like my wedding had.
Is "i have ADD" a good reason for a 21yr old high school drop out not to go get his GED?
No, it's not an excuse to not get a diploma. It should really be the last thing to hold you back. When I was in school no one really even mentioned ADHD or ADD, but they sure complained about how much I stared out the window and wouldn't concentrate on school work, among other things that would these days point to ADD. I still graduated as a 17 year old and went on to get 3 Associates...
Well, I would wonder why he drove 200 miles just to search the house, when we could have just gotten him what he needed and mailed it to him. I'd ask him what he was looking for and then see if I could find it for him, if he were to be looking for something he should have. How often do you use your crockpot?
I don't actually have one. I have a slow cooker, that comes apart. There's no stick burner, and a metal pan with a lid. I most often use the pan on my stove top, because it is the perfect size for soups and stuff. It can even use in the oven. I use that part about 2 to 3 times a week. The slow cooker/burner I might use about 3 times a year, but it is handy.
We used to have a mailman who insisted on walking through my garden. I finally went down to the post office and reported him. I also put up a keep out sign where he could most definitely see it. A sign where it's most visible would be a good idea, and a taller fence, also.
This would, of course be after you've discussed it with the neighbor about the fact that they shouldn't...
What are the main signs before you get your period?
About a week or so, I get a few pimples, and then my lower back aches, I also seem to get headaches more.
Then about a week before I get insomnia for about 3 to 4 nights, and can't seem to keep my cool about anything. I also get bloaty and crampy, and quite hungry.
What helps often times is to take multivitamins, for at least that last week, and not eat salty foods or caffeinated foods...
Even if you are not diagnosed, do you sometimes feel like you have ADD?
I might, but not the ADHD, like my son has. When I was in grade school my work was never done, because as the teachers said,"I was always staring out the windows and daydreaming."
It does seem like my brain is always racing way ahead of the rest of me, and I can't sit still for nothing. Just bouncing off the walls some days, and so lost in my own little world deeply, on others.
The other day I was at a toy store and my two little girls wanted me to buy them a couple of dolls. They love dolls and acting like good mommies to them. Yet when we were lining up at the cashier, some woman told me that dolls are sexist. Your opinion?
Both of my boys have a doll, because they both wanted them. I was fine with it. One of them is 3 the other is 10. They don't play with them as often as with the legos, but they still get them out and play nicely with them once in a while.
Do you find nude photography/art to be beautiful/graceful or disgusting/offensive? Why?
It depends on the context of the nude photography and how it's portrayed, for the most part. For the most part the human body is beautiful. What isn't always is the way the subject is shown, too much makeup on a woman really can become an issue for something like that. Sometimes when it is the point of it, it is quite interesting, also.
It sounds like maybe he's getting a bit ahead of himself there, if you ask me. You can't know someone that quickly, in 3 days in person. Answer to:
Were you ever spanked in school?
I was. Once in 5th grade, when the teacher thought I was talking too much, and once in 8th grade, when my friends and I got caught sneaking out of the gym during winter recess time. Both times it wasn't painful at all. I ended up laughing more than anything. Apparently the teachers either weren't trying for pain, or I have a great tolerance.
How painful is it to give birth?
With my first child, I was going to have a natural birth with the hospital midwives, but went into labor 6 weeks early. They put me on bed rest for a month. Then I went into labor again about 4 days after I was let off bed rest. I had to be in the hospital for it, because the baby was 8lbs. 2 oz., and I'm just over 5 foot tall. It was lucky I was there. The baby wouldn't come out, and...
Do you think kids these days are missing out on quite possibly the best feeling ever? That's right, I'm talking about opening a box of cereal and getting a double prize.
It was one of the coolest reasons even to be able to get your favorite cereal. They most certainly are. I wish they'd put prizes in the cereal, too.
On the other hand, sometimes kids only want the cereal for the prize in there. My 10 year old doesn't like to eat cereal, much.
Why would you decide that you were never going to downrate another AB User? How are they going to know what they did wrong if you don't tell them? Some folks, especially newbies, don't know what's acceptable or not on AB.
You don't have to downrate a person to let them know they did something wrong, though. This is a message board type of situation. All we need to do is tell them through words, generally in a nice way, works the best. I know I'm not fond of hearing I did something wrong, but if it's said nicely, I may not be angry.
There`s this guy, and we went out about 6 times. (i`m only 15) I love him, and i always will, But he`s a man whore.
What doi do?
As a "man whore" he most certainly doesn't love you or anyone else. He most likely doesn't even love himself. I went out with a guy like that before, and there is no future in a relationship like that, aside from a heartache. Guys like that may be attractive and make you feel good for a while, but trust me, it will not last any longer than the time it takes for him to either...
Maybe more of a rainbow fill-in effect, more like? It comes out looking a bit tye-dyed. I know it's hard to tell from my picture, but here's my tattoo as an example.
It would depend on the cost, and what you get out of it emotionally, also. For some the cost is much higher. Certain situations can be too high of a cost for certain people. It's really all up to each individual and their tolerance, mostly.
Good question, I've tried to put in a bulb like that in my office fixture, too. It's an old house,and the light usually worked for a while, and then after a while it went out. If I turn the switch off for a few minutes, and then turn it on, it'll work again. I wonder if it isn't that the fixture is too old.
I know of a girl who took her very young baby to the bar, and left it in the carseat in the middle of winter(for several hours). She left the car off, but supposedly went out to check on it occasionally. By the time she was done drinking at the bar, the infant was dead. as far as I know no charges were filed there. She goes on as if nothing happened, too. How a person and a family can live with...
What would you do if you overeacted to something a friend said about you and they no longer want anything to do with you? Is it worth trying to fix it even if the friendship was in its infancy?
I know what you mean Zack, and sometimes it can hurt and be frustrating. It often has really nothing to do with you. It's all in a person's perspective of how things went. I suppose this doesn't make sense, but maybe I'm talking about me and someone, more than you.
Why can't you? It's because it's rude and disrespectful to people that you don't even know. There is no reason for that kind of attitude. It's just racist and most on here won't let it slide, because there is no reason to "hate" someone just to hate them.
Generally it's illegal, due to the fact that people like to try and take advantage of others in a situation where someone could sell sex from someone else, like a pimp.
I recently used an electric toothbrush to masturbate with and then a few days later my vagina was relly itchy, and now there is a small sore lump right near my clit.. since it was irritated. think its just a popped blood vessel? i'm hoping its not a sist.
I suppose you have done something about it by now, but you most likely had a yeast infection. If you use something like that without it being perfectly clean, you can get germs off of it, and a vagina is a sensitive spot. It's prone to an upset of the balance of yeast, which causes itchy bumps. The lump was most likely an infected hair(zit) and it probably popped, which led to some bleeding.
Why is it a automatic reaction that if someone pukes the person around them gets the urge to? Im used to little kids sick and it doesnt get to me anymore.
I suspect that the other responses must be right. I've never been one to throw up just because someone else has, though, not even in high school or grade school.
My girlfriend really likes chocolate. She also loves flowers. I could get her either a dozen roses for Valentine's Day or else personalize messages inside Dove Chocolate wrappers (from the Dove website) for her. The price is the same. Wh
Get the box of chocolates and a single red rose. It sounds like a wonderful thing for Valentines day.
Hello Jack,
It's good to know you're still there, and I have to say I've missed you. I suspect I may be busy also, although I'm still wavering on weather to continue the course repeat or wait until another time, and find a job. I do hope to hear from you sometime soon!
Would you think it strange if you started corresponding with a fellow ABer and they became anxious if you didn't email or phone every day?
Well, if you're corresponding with a person regularly, maybe they care about you and as a friend, they are concerned whether you are alright. Especially if they felt that you care about them, also. I am not saying you don't have the right to decide what you want in any relationship, but if you find some to maybe be strange, you could talk with them, directly. People that you are...
Does anyone know the advantages of auto cleaning or detailing...im looking for reasons associated with maintenance, health, and long term advantages. If anyone knows any other sites with this information also id appreciate it!!
On the outside if you keep it clean or washed while you live in a climate with cold weather where there is salt or sand build-up possible, you won't get so much rust or paint wearing off. On the inside just keeping anything from being too dirty will keep a person from any type of hayfever attacks due to dust or mold .
Answer to:
What do you do to keep to keep trash from building up in the backseat of your car?
I try to get in there to clean it out every once in a while, especially since I have 2 kids and a small car. If there's trash in there, there's little room for them to sit in their carseats.
Have you ever carried out the ultimate revenge on someone who has been particularly bad to you?
Several years ago I helped a friend get revenge of sorts on her ex, who wouldn't return her diamond nose ring. We snuck up during the night and took a tire off of his van and hid it elsewhere in town. (It's a small town, so no one else found it.) He eventually figured it all out, though, and actually thought it was funny.
Settle a bet (it's a large one). Both my friend and I picked three songs. Which do you think out of these is the best song: Fade to Black by Metallica, Man on the Moon by REM, One by U2, Jeremy by Pearl Jam, God by Tori Amos, Thriller by Michael Jackson.
I think the best would be Jeremy by Pearl Jam and a very close second would have to be Fade to Black by Metallica.
My husband and I are planing to have a baby. I have a son who is 22months and gets verry jealous when I babysit my great neice(who is 5 months). What can I do when I get pregnant and the new baby comes into the picture?
While you are pregnant it would be good to make sure you talk about the new baby as a positive thing frequently and say what a big help your oldest one can be. It may help to mention how much fun the 2 will be able to have together when the baby gets a bit older. Show him how other siblings get along and be sure to let him spend time with other kids at times, too. They also have some great...
I would most likely radio or call for backup and try to shoot out the radiator or a part of the engine of the truck, if possible.
Is there any person in your past who gave you a really hard time,to whom you'd like to say anything? You know, the bully who made your life miserable in grade school/middle school/high school..the boss who was threatened by you..the ex?What would you say?
There was a group of people from high school that I would love to say some things to, but I really am not sure what. I know none of them ended up real well. One of the girls married one of the guys who was in the group, he's dead from some kind of illness and she's an alcoholic because she's crazy. Another of the girls is just really in all kinds of deep trouble now for some...
