it is important to brush your rabbit weekly. daily if it is a long haired rabbit such as a angora,lionhead.etc... i give my rabbit a little bit of pinapple juice once a month to prevent the blockage. it wont cure the problem if the rabbit is blocked but it will help to prevent it.

Yes. altho it is good to bring stray dogs in. you should never bring one in and intorduce it to your own dog before it has had all its shots and has had an exam. take the dogs to the vet immmediatly. They can get seriously dehydrated from the diarrhea.

As said above to not run. Also remember to not look the dog directlyin the eye. the dog may see this as a threat. Dogs can be very vicious creatures. I work with dogs all the time. But always be ready. if you have to. Crouching is also a good thing to do but it dosent always mean that the dog is going to leave you alone.

I dont really like the fact of declawing. i have seen it done. (I work at a vet) actually they sell caps that you can put on your cats claws. They also sell a citris like sented spray that you can put on a towel and hang to your couch so your cat wont scratch the furniture.

I am not an expert but i dont think it should be done. Cockatiels have a much stronger beak. and they often like to peck at other birds feet. i think that they should be kept seperate, dont take this as a gospel or any thing. but you should ask your local pet place or parrot place were you purchased them.
