We just have the standard 5 channels that come with the TV. I can't be arsed with even more channels as things are. EWW STINKY FEET! How do you get your shoes to not stink anymore? I wear socks. I spray them with Scholl shoe spray (especially useful for my trainers as I've noticed the insides don't get so worn away when I use the spray). Also not wearing the same shoes everyday also helps.

I can leave my 12 year old while I walk a short way up the road to the postbox or to the local pharmacy for 20 minutes tops. He's fine. I cannot leave my 14 year old nor will I ever be able to even when he's an adult because he's severely disabled and will need care for the rest of his life.

I always thought that if someone agrees to help, they should put some effort into it or there's no point in helping. Sometimes it's hard to know if they're doing a half-assed job on purpose so they can avoid offering to help out in future or that the half-assedness is just their usual standard, in which case, they're being genuinely helpful.

In a big store, is it wrong to get irritated when someone says: excuse me, and practically pushes you out of the way so they can fetch what they are after on the shelf? It is clear that you are looking at the same product. Why can't ppl wait for u 2 move? The 'excuse me' isn't rude but the pushing you out of the way rather than waiting for you to move is. I don't know why people don't use good basic manners. I think in your case they were trying to excuse their bad behaviour rather than 'excuse me, I'd like to get passed'. It doesn't make it ok though.

How do I get my 2 1/2 yr old to quit her back talk? for example- I will tell her to get rid of her attitude, and then she says with a pointed finger, "You have a attitude". At her age, I wonder if she would know what the word attitude means. Not that you should stop using large words because you wouldn't want to hinder her vocabulary. So, perhaps along with that say something like, "I am not happy with the way you speak to me."

This dictionary I have says that procrastination and inefficiency are examples of being passive-agressive. Uh, does that sound right to you? They both ultimately sound like ways to avoid something. Procrastination by putting off doing something and inefficiency by not doing it as well as you could. Have you ever regretted something you didn't do? Explain. Yes. I've regretted not finding my wedding dress with my Mum. I was shopping with a friend and didn't expect to find one I liked; we were basically 'window shopping'. Unfortunately, I saw one I liked and had to have it. I wish I just forgot about it and went on a new wedding dress hunt with my Mum.

If I'm suffering, such as paying a lot of attention to them, getting all stressed out over them, then I rate the problems to be important. I think it's largely for the forgiver so they can let go and move on but it could be for the forgiven if they are feeling really guilty about their misdeed. I can understand you arriving at that conclusion and have experienced this sort of thing myself (not on this site) but I think it's more to do with that the asker is not on the same wavelength as the responder.

When I was born, my fraternal twin sister came out after me and was stillborn. Over the years, I have been asked if I ever mourned her. I never did as I never felt I knew her (I don't believe the womb counts). Was I wrong not to? Absolutely not. How can you mourn someone you never knew?
