Answer to:
Where are the available single men ages 35-50 that have no children?
Great question. I ask myself the same question all the time. I think that most men in this age bracket are already married, or divorced men with children. I knew one single man in his late thirties who had gotten a divorce who never had kids, but he turned out to be an alchoholic with sever emotional and mental problems.
Would you consider dating a man that was in his late twenties or early...

Are any of you into aliens? Familiar with David Icke? Or anything of the like? Any of you believe that our planet has been hijacked by ill-willed aliens? Kind of like the movie The Matrix?
I have read some of his books and found some of his theories to be really out there. In one of his books he claims that George Bush and The Queen of England are actually reptillian entities.
I actually had nightmares after reading one of his novels. One time I tried to sell one of his books to a pawn shop and the owner refused calling him a "nazi".
Answer to:
Why do you beat yourself up sometimes? Does it make you realize that life is even more worthless
I beat myself up all the time about decisions I made in the past. I have a lot of regrets about a relationship that turned sour a couple of years ago. I think I could have handled things differently and possibly still been with this person.
I have really bad luck with men and I am beginning to think I must be doing something to turn them off.

My 13yo son developed an attraction to a girl but, as it turns out she was just doing the tween-thing and flirting. He apparently displayed some very possessive and jealous behaviors. How can I help him, help himself with his inappropriate responses?
It's good that you have noticed this behavior early on before it got worse. I know a man in his late thirties who acts possessive and jealous of me before even asking me out on a date! It sounds like your son is quite insecure and suffers from low self esteem. The best way to help him is to get him involved in the community, or join a sports team to help him with his self confidence.

There is this guy I am kinda crushing on... I don't REALLY know him as much as I'd like... he seems to be outgoing to everyone else but me, is that bad? I'm really shy so its hard, but if he's so outgoing then why isn't he with
No, it's not bad quite the opposite. If he is outgoing around everyone but you, that tells me that he probably has feelings for you. I have been in this situation before. I know what it's like to be shy and have someone else that is shy around you like you. One of you will have to take the bull by the horns eventually. There are a number of unmarried women in their late 20's to their mid 30's.. is this a direct result of the lack of real men? If so, what happened to men in the US?
No- I thinks it's because woman have more options now. We can be just as successful as a man- we are no longer just useful as a stay at home mother. Also people are living longer, and women are having babies later in life than as oppose to 30 years ago.

I was told by a reliable source that my boss criticized me last night for "not doing her f-ing job". I work 60 - 70 hours each week (salary), and always complete every task -- maybe not in his time, but the work is always done. What should I do?
You have every right to be choked. This is why I would never work for a salary- it's not worth it. If I were you I would quietly start looking for another job, but don't quit the one you have until you find a better one.
Life is too short to work these kinds of hours and be unnapreciated!

What makes you hate someone?
Hate is a very strong word. But the closest feeling I have towards hate at the moment, I guess is a very strong dislike for two certain individuals who had been making my life a misery.

You have to put an end to it before it gets out of hand- otherwise you will just quietly get angrier and angrier until one day you will lose it. Nip it in the bud, just tell her you can no longer do things for her and that she needs to quit using you. If she is a true friend she will understand, if not then you will know she was never your friend in the first place. Life is too short to have...

Someone who will talk about you and spread lies behind your back
Someone who is only nice to you when they want...

Is it really long? If it is, then I would suggest that you cut it and get it layered. Layering will make it look thinner, and because it's thick the layering will have lots of body. I just got 8 inches cut off my hair and had it layered just above my shoulders and it looks awsome.

It doesn't seem nice, but it works. I once had a guy that really liked me from work. I wasn't completely sure if did like me so I decided to go out with someone else who was interested. Personally, if you've never done them before I would recommend that you go to a spa and get them waxed. They have proffesionals that know what they are doing and will make it look good. I just had mine done and they look awsome, it shouldn't cost you more than about 16 dollars depending on where you go. It lasts for about a month before it grows back.

What do you do when you know someone doesnt like you as much you like them? Or when you put them on a pedestal but they dont realise how much effort you put in?
You have two options. You can keep pursuing the person but be prepared for a lot of resentment and heart-ache; or the more intelligent thing would be to move on. I would never pursue someone who I knew didn't like me. It's just a waste of my time and energy. There are lots of single people out there who would appreciate you.
My advice- move on!

It should say a lot about someone's character if they can't or won't keep a job. Usually they are unmotivated and lack stability.

Have you attended high school reunions? The more I think of it, the more I feel I don't want to see most of them.
Yes- I attended my ten year one last year. At first I felt the same way as you because I didn't have a lot of friends back then and got picked on pretty badly. But I was so glad I did attend! It was hilarious- all the guys that picked on me back then got either fat or bald, and they were all hitting on me!

Who's you favorite actor out of these three... Jim Carrey, Will Ferrell, or Adam Sandler?
I would have to say Adam Sandler. He has a soft, sensitive side to him that I saw in the movie I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry.
I don't think either Jim Carrey or Will Ferrel could have pulled off what he did in that movie, they both seem to be just slap stick guys but Sandler can really do well in serious roles.

The thing that I miss the most was the fact that I didn't have to pay any rent, and my mother paid for the cable, phone, and electric bill.
Also, at the time I lived with her we had a really nice house on a beautiful peice of land overlooking the city that had an incredible view.
Now I just live in a small one bedroom appartment.

I do not go out very often (bars, etc), study and learn a lot on anything and everything, yet I'm 22 and many of my friends say I will regret it someday. Regret that I didn't have fun while it was time for me to do so. Are they right? What should I do?
Don't listen to your friends. If you ask me, you are being very smart, and trust me you aren't missing much at all. The bar scene is usually just a big meat market anyways with people looking for a one night stand. It's okay to every now and then go out and have fun, but you don't want to party all the time.

Answer to:
Do you think it is bad to be 19 years old and never have had a serious relationship?
Don't feel bad. I didn't have my first serious bf until I was 21. And believe me, you aren't missing much. My ex was the rudest, most inconsiderate jerk and made my life miserable.

Yes- I sure was a fan. However, it does disapoint me as to how some of the head charactors turned out in real life. No- she is in a different league altogether from Britney, it's like putting oil and water together. Why are so many men such a***oles, and why do so many women choose to put up with them when they are that way?
Because we (women) teach men how to treat us. If we allow a man to be abusive from the beginning and don't stand up for ourselves, then he will continuie treating us that way. We put up with it because of low self esteem, and the fear that we will never find anybody else. It's a sad, pathetic cycle that happens over and over again.

It doesn't matter to me. But if a guy is going to be that shallow, than I wouldn't want to sleep with him after 100 dates! I think if the guy really cares about you he would be willing to wait for as long as it takes.

How has the world changed from 20 years ago and what have you noticed in social behaviors that are diffrent than the past?
20 years ago I was 9 years old. From what I remember, there was no internet, cell phones, cd players, dvd players, or lap tops.
Television was much more conservative, less violent, and had less sex showed in it.
There were less divorced parents then, it was quite a shock to hear when a married couple broke up.
Video games had really lame graphics, and I think Nintendo had just come up.

She sounds very unproffesional; and she should not be in the proffesion she is. She is a bully and should be reported; written up; and maybe even suspended for her gross behavior. Children need roll models for teachers, not bullies.

Men: Would you date a woman with three children by three different men? Why or why not?
One of my old bf's had a mother like this. She had three kids all with different father's. It totally screwed up my ex; and he said she had been married 6 times and had 18 bf's. I think it shows that she has a lack of respect for not only herself; but for men. So in my opinion, I don't think a man should date a woman like this.

No, I have never hit a deer but I remember being on the road right after somebody else did. We were in Waterton Lakes National Park in Alberta, Canada. Buy a bottle of febreeze so when she leaves the room you can spray it to get her smell out of the fabric. And the next time you come home and she's on the couch, tell her that you paid for the sofa and you deserve to sit on it when you come home. If she's still going to sit on it when you're there, get your Resident Advisor involved. She may have some ideas.

What are some of the reasons that couples get divorced?
For many reasons. People get bored with being with the same person for years. Maybe the sex is non-existant.
I knew a woman, actually my mom's friend who said she got divorced because the sex was bad.
Most of the time though people get divorced because someone had an affair. That's what happened to my parents.

Women: especially normally conservative ones, Have you ever taken nude or partially nude photos of yourself for a boyfriend or someone else and did this make you feel more sensual and empowered or were you embarassed?
No, and I never will! Now with all the technology and nude photo scandals happening with celebrities I could never do that. You never know if someone you trust could break up with you and out of spite put the photos on the internet.

Change is inevitable. Life is always filled with changes, sometimes I like it, sometimes I don't. But I also believe that change can be a good thing, you just need to learn to embrace it instead of resisting it.

First of all your bf sounds like an emotional and verbal abuser. There is nothing wrong with being a stay at home mom if you have a child of that age. Why do people pay $4.00 for a cup of coffee at starbucks or espresso stand? When you can buy instant 100% coffee that makes 80 cups for $4.00?
Good question- But I guess it's the same reason that people go to a fast food restaurant when they can just whip up a cheap meal at home. People's lives are busy and most just don't have the time anymore to stay at home and spend an hour making a home cooked meal. It's fast and conveinient just to go out and pay for quick service.

I'm sad to say that I actually think the picture leak was intentional, because I heard she wanted out of her Disney Contract and "squeaky clean" image. This is because she wanted to pursue other film roles in more mature movies.

Well first thing you need to do is find your own place if you are still living at home with her. Maybe that is why she insults you all day long because she feels you need to be independant and on your own. If your NOT living with her, then you need to stop talking to her as much as you say she insults you all day long.

No, I can honestly say I have NEVER tried it, and it's not because I've never been offered it. It's because I'm scared because someone in my family tried it and they had a psychotic reaction to it. They actually were admitted to the psyche ward, so I don't think I ever want to try it. Besides, it's illegal and expensive, plus very addicting. I have a good friend...

Answer to:
In what way does time heal?
I think time heals because the more time that goes by, the less intense your feelings of either guilt, shame, or heartbreak, are.
And I know that it works because something bad that happened a year ago feels a lot less significant now for me.

Has an officer ever cussed you out?
Yes, about a year ago, and it still makes me mad when I think about this. I was driving two of my friends to the movie theatre to watch Saw 3. It was dark and I was driving down the street, and we saw a minivan on the side of the road that was all banged up. There were about 3 police cars next to the road. As I slowly drived my friends in the car, an officer started screaming at me...
Answer to:
Would a college age guy ever ask a girl out if he didn't like her? If so, what could be his reasons?
Maybe the frat brothers dared him to ask out some girl that they didn't like as a joke. Sometimes the male fraternities can be really cruel when it comes to woman, and they treat the ones that think are ugly like dirt. They may be asking out girls and trying to get laid to make points for a game, I've actually heard of this. If they really liked the girl I doupt they would do...

A friend in need is a friend indeed. How well can you tell your real friends from the 'friends' who only are around when they need something from you?
A real friend is someone you can call up just to chat about your day and if your having a problem, and they will listen. The friends that use me are the ones that only call when they want a favour from me, and really don't want to hear about my problems.

Why is it that students hate school so much?
Too many rules, fear of not fitting in, being bullied, stress from having to get good marks, and boredom. I hated school, honestly most of what I learned I don't even remember, most of the stuff I did learn did in no way at all prepare me for the real world.

Is swearing offensive to you?
It only offends me if it is used constantly by someone, and used more than twice in one sentence. I find it a big turn off and it usually indicates a lack of education and manners on the persons part. However, if it is only used very rarely when someone is extremely upset, then it's okay.

No. Ten years in a prison would have definately made the guy bitter about life I'm sure, and he would probably have a lot of issues because of the experience. Also, he would have had to have done something really bad to be in prison for that long.

Ignore them. You never know if it's a crazy, mentally unbalanced person that's just looking for a reason to kick your ass. Some people will do this just to pick fights, I find that if you ignore them the'll leave you alone and find someone else to pick on.

Why are most older men attracted to younger women?
Most older men are married to older women, and they eventually over time get bored of their wives. I think older men are attracted to these younger women because they are angry with their wives, and what would be a better way to get back at their wife than to lust after a woman that was half her age.

If you cheated on your partner, with whom you're in a serious relationship, then told him/her, and they didn't seem mad or anything, and said it was cool but not to do it again, would you suspect he/she cheated on you, or didn't care about you?
Well I don't know if I would suspect that they had cheated; but I'll tell you that it would definately concern me. If they don't even get upset it would make me wonder if they even cared about or were in love with me at all. Also, it would make me think that maybe they were secretly hoping that I would cheat on him again so he would have an excuse to break up with me.

Well I think unless the husband is wealthy enough to afford a maid to do all the house work, it's only a little bit fair. If she doesn't have a job then she should be doing atleast some of the chores. But I still think that the heavy yard work like mowing the lawn should be left for the husband.

Answer to:
Why is it that when girls age they look worse and as guys age they look better?
That is not always true- some older woman like Demi Moore and Michelle Pheiffer have aged so well that they actually look better now than when they were in their twenties. Look at how bad Corey Haim has aged and he is only 35, also Robert Redford and Keith Richards have seen better days.

Is marriage an outmoded custom?
I remember reading a statistic somewhere that said by 2020 were going to see an end to the institution of marriage as we know it, and this is mainly due to the high divorce rate and the high financial and emotional toll a divorce takes. I think more poeple will just date or live common law.

I had to renew mine back in May, it expires for me every 5 years. It wasn't as bad as I thought, they didn't bring up any outstanding parking fines. I did however have to pay 75 dollars, but it could be worse, my friend got a ticket for speeding 3 times and then she lost her license, and to renew it would be 1500 dollars! So I got off easy.

Give them an ulitmatum, either you or the wife! Otherwise you will waste YEARS of your life waiting for a man who has no intention of leaving his wife. He won't leave the wife and I'll tell you why, because he has the security of a home, and if he leaves the wife he'd have to pay alimony or some sort of support which is something he's probably not wanting to do.

How do i get my best friend thats a girl to go out with me?
Unfortuneatly, we can't force someone to go out with us. Unless you know for 100 percent sure that she is into you I wouldn't press the issue. Lots of friendships between a man and woman are ruined once one finds out the other has feelings especially if she or he doesnt reciprocate them.
Maybe invite her out for coffee one day and casually hint that your available, and ask her if...

How do you feel about how old you are? If you could be any age right now, what would it be? And if you had to be a certain age forever, which age would you choose?
I hate being 29. It's depressing because I know that in less than one year I'll be turning 30 and my 20's will be lost forever.
I think the perfect age would be 25. I hated childhood and the teen years, but 25 is perfect because you are still young enough to act like a kid but you're mature enough to be an adult.

Answer to:
What do you do if you like a guy but he doent like you?"?
Move on. Never pursue someone who isn't interested in you. There are tons of other guys who would love to date you, why waste your time on some guy that doesnt like you when you could be with the guy who would treat you like gold?

Well, I know a cure for hiccups that has always worked for me. Eat a spoonful of peanut butter. Works everytime!
