It is up to the parent. I don't make my son keep his room all that neat and he is younger than 14. However, it needs to be neat enough to clean on occasion. I don't mind messy, but I don't want dirt and stink. Also, if you can't keep track of your dirty and clean clothes,...

I LOVE the beach. However, I don't lounge a lot at the beach. I walk a lot and swim a bit and scuba dive if I'm really lucky. I do enjoy sipping a frozen fruitty alcoholic beverage and relaxing some though.

The only fight at our Thanksgiving was a brief blow-up between 10 and 11 year old cousins. One shot the other one in the eye with a Nerf gun and the one that got shot went after the other one. They got over it and were buddy buddy within 10 minutes.

That is quite normal behavior for a 2 y.o. You let him get plenty of exercise and make sure he still takes naps and eats on a pretty regular schedule. For yourself, naps and exercise might help too! Mostly, you just need patience.

I think it is strange unless it is for a particular reason. I work in a H.S. Sometimes kids will dress that way if they are giving a presentation. Also, many times the athletes dress up for away games.

I have been to Ireland. My husband and I went there for our honeymoon. We loved it and really, really want to go back. I think we will probably try very hard to go again in the next couple of years. The country itself is beautiful and the people in general were very friendly and welcoming.

My son has a cell because we don't have a home phone. He will not be allowed to carry it to school though. (Maybe in high school when he's involved in extracurricular activities.) I work in a high school and don't really see the need for younger than H.S. to take the phone to school.

Take it apart as fast as possible and then put all of the components into a baggie of dry rice and make sure the phone is covered with the rice. Let it sit for 72 hours. You have to do this as soon as possible though.

Is ths new behavior or has he been like this since school started. If he has been like this since school started then you may want to see if he has any learning disabilities. If the behavior is new, has something in his life changed recently?

What are you drinking? A lot of people drink many more calories than they realize. Additionally, if you are eating too much fruit, that could be adding up to too many calories. Also, even though white meat is much lower in fat and calories than other types of meat, it can still add up to too...

I can answer the US Immigration piece. Nothing with US Immigration is automatic. You can apply for permanent residency for him, but you MUST apply. Check with the US Consulate in London to find the proper proceedures for filing from overseas.
