It is up to the parent. I don't make my son keep his room all that neat and he is younger than 14. However, it needs to be neat enough to clean on occasion. I don't mind messy, but I don't want dirt and stink. Also, if you can't keep track of your dirty and clean clothes, then don't come crying to me when you don't have anything to wear.

You let him get plenty of exercise and make sure he still takes naps and eats on a pretty regular schedule. For yourself, naps and exercise might help too! Mostly, you just need patience.

Additionally, if you are eating too much fruit, that could be adding up to too many calories. Also, even though white meat is much lower in fat and calories than other types of meat, it can still add up to too many calories if your portion sizes are too large.

My 4 year old was given a medication that has to be crushed and taken with food. How do I give it to her? Seems like a silly question, but I can't imagine she'll simply take a gross tasting crushed up pill. We had to do that for our son. We would put in on a spoonful of: yogurt, peanut butter, applesauce, pudding, oatmeal or anything that is that consistency. Is France nasty like people say it is I hear people don't shower there and they use the bathroom in the street and stuff is it really that nasty? I lived in France and did not find that to be true. Paris isn't any dirtier than any other really big city. The people shower, it may not be as frequently as in the US, but they shower. It's strawberry season here and the debate has started at work - do you prefer your strawberry shortcake with the biscuit style cake, sponge/angel food cake, or pound cake? And whipped cream or heavy cream? I like pound cake best, but also like the Bisquick type shortcakes. I actually like mine with ice cream,not whipped cream or heavy cream. I'd eat it with those though.

Earlier in the school year, the kids on the biology class that I work with did experiements to test advertisement claims. Several did them on the lasting flavor of gum and in their experiments Stride did win. I don't care for Stride gum, because it is kind of hard to chew compared to other types of gum.

How deep is this sheet pan? Mine's only 1 inch, which seems too shallow for a cake. The only kind of cake I'm aware of that is made in a sheet pan is Texas Sheet Cake... or possibly a sponge cake to make jelly rolls. To make a regular cake, you'll need a cake pan.

What night of the week are you most likely to eat out? We have been know to eat out any day of the week, but my guess is we eat out more on Friday or Sat. Friday, because I'm too tired to cook, or Sat. if we are meeting friends for dinner. A Friday evening eating out would me more casual (pizza or bar/pub type food) while Saturday would be when we are more likely to eat a nice meal out.

I live in Indiana in the U.S. and it is illegal to sell carry-out alcohol on Sundays. I know it is illegal to sell alcohol on Election day while the voting polls are open. I'm not sure if that is state law or is a Federal law.

I take frequent breaks (every half hour or so) and they say it's not effective. Is that true? It can very well still be effective, as long as you are retaining the information during the times you are studying. It may not be efficient, but that doesn't mean it isn't effective.

It will eventually go away. To prevent it in the future, when you go to wash your hands wash them in COLD water first. It will close the pores so the fragrance can't get in as easily. Wash with a nice lemon soap. Then you can warm your hands up in warm water.

In addition to just keeping it clean, depending on where you live it may be an issue of having things like salt not damaging your car. If you live near the ocean, or live where salt is applied to the streets in the winter, it is bad for your car to not wash it off.

He did everything right under highly stressful conditions which is what makes him a hero. Few people can keep their cool and not panic in such a situation. I'm 18 and i'm in college majoring in psychology, i've always been into art and tattoos and I just got an apprenticship for tattoos and piercings. Should I drop out of school for a year to do this? Maybe you don't need to quit all together, but could go to school part-time. Take one or two classes, just to keep up with your studies, but to allow time to pursue the other opportunity. How long of a vacation could you handle alone without your s/o or loved ones? I've been for a week with no problem. I think I would be ok up to two weeks. I have lived overseas for as much as a year, but that was before I was married and had a child.

Some screw on and some have more of a twist and lock sort of action. As long as the way the lens attaches is compatible with the camera it should fit.

No, for candy you really have to have a thermometer or you won't get the proper consistency. You can try the old fashioned method of dropping a drop into cold water to see what stage it is in, (soft ball, hard ball...), but if you're not used to that, it might not work too well.

We had to travel with armed guards and it was quite unsettling. There were also a couple of times where I feared for my personal safety(not necessarily my life) while I was in France, but that was because of poor choices I made, not because the country is unsafe.

It doesn't have to be an expensive machine, you can use one of the stove top espresso makers. I have a little hand held Bodin frothers, which are also inexpensive. My son is very strong willed. He does not respond to time out... What else works well on a strong willed boy of three years old. Consistency. Eventually, the time outs will work. Also, they say you should put them in time-out for every minute for every year of age. 3 minutes is a pretty long time for a child of that age, even though it seems like nothing to us. Also, tell him the time starts when he starts being quiet. Then, set a time so he knows when he can get out.

I have 2 cats, both females. They are both litter trained, but for some reason they also poop all over our carpet and cement floor in the basement. How do I get them to stop? My son learned to skate when he was about 5. There were kids at the rink younger than him. At some rinks, they have these little things kind of like a walker, but for ice, that the little ones can use to balance as they learn to skate. The only thing I would worry about with a 3 year old is that their sense of balance is still developing and you do have to balance when you skate.

I would either do a skills based resume where you list your skills that apply to the job you seek. And then you list your work experience.
