Answer to:
I currently have about $60,000 credit card debt, and a mortgage of $275,000. I feel like I'm over my head, and difficult to make payments. I have a wife and 2 kids to support. I earn about $80,000 a yr. I have trouble sleeping. HELP!
First, does your wife work as well? If she doesn't then nows the time she should look for a job, even part time would help. It takes two incomes in today's financial world to survive and thrive! Even if she had to pay someone to babysit she'd still come out to the good and be able to pay some of the bills!
Second, have you thought about taking on an extra job? Maybe on the...

Do you feel that you are in hell now?
No I've never felt as though I'm living in hell. I have a very good life, a great career, an awesome husband and 3 beautiful children. God has blessed me beyond measures, so no hell is far from me!
As for your situation, know there's always people who have it much, much worse. I know a lady right now who has been diagnosed with a rare liver disorder. She has worked for her...

My ex said he needed space and time to figure out what was right for him. He now says he made a terrible mistake, that he's sorry, and that he wants a second chance. This all happened in about 2 weeks. What should I do?
This is a typical case of he left to be with someone else, probably had a small fling and realized the grass is not greener on the other side. I don't know what to tell you to do, but I know If it were my husband I'd tell him to get lost. I personally don't want someone who does things like this!
You need to search your own heart and figure out what is best for you. Nobody...

Recently my 13 year old step daughter asked me to take her to get on the pill. Her dad is against it but I am worried she is wanting to have sex. She likes a 16 year old. Help what do I say to my husband to make him wake up?
I apologize. I thought I read something different on your post. I really am sorry. I see your point now. Your husband needs to really think about what he is doing! This is very wrong! If he's giving her everything she always wants, then maybe he is a part of the problem. Children need some discipline in their lives, and giving her anything she wants is not doing the right thing for her!...

I have an outstanding bill with a major phone company from 2 years ago. It is not on my credit report. Does this mean that the debt has just disappeared?
Did you pull all three credit reports? There's experian, equifax, and transunion. Many times a company will report to one but not the other two. It could be on one of the other credit reports. Did you check all three??? Some companies may report to two companies and not the third one. Just because you got a report pulled doesn't mean it's not reported..its probably just the case...
Answer to:
I have 10-15 overdue accounts on my credit report and plan to pay them off soon. Are companies obligated to report to the credit bureau(s) that the debts have been paid in full?
They'll report it as a "Paid charge off" which is just as bad! Once you default it destroys your credit for seven years! Even paying it still keeps your credit down! Over time it will age and you'll notice a small change each several month periods...but paying it will not make your credit score rise any!
It may tell other lendors that you are trying...but usually most...
Answer to:
Where can I get help getting out of debt?
Did you have help getting into debt?
The best thing to do is to take on another job and pay the debts off while you can! Pay two payments a month. Get them down the old fashion way, by paying them!
Do whatever it takes to pay your bills on time and not get any late charges added to what you already owe!
People don't mind running up huge debt, but then they find themselves in a...
Answer to:
My father recently passed away and left quite a bit of credit card debt. He did not own a house or a car. One company keeps calling me and saying I have to pay them back. He did have a 10,000 dollar life insurance policy through his job.
You are not obligated to pay this debt! You did not sign any contract with this company, your name is no where on their agreements, therefore you are not liable!
Tell these companies your father has died and his debts are not yours. Tell them if they continue to harrass you, then you will have no choice but to contact your lawyer! End of story! They will STOP!

Friend (creditor/client) of mine co-signed a loan. The balance is $5400. I missed some payments and he paid them. I am now paying the $200 a month. In the meantime, he has turned the loan to a collec
Why do people get friends to cosign then miss payments! Don't do that to a friend. You are ruining someone elses credit right along with your own! If there's any chance you could miss payments then don't have someone cosign! This is horrible! A friend doesn't do a friend like that! Just go with it and pay it! You were in the wrong! GEEZE! Next time don't use a co-signer...

Whats the best credit card out there?
Someone wrote a cut up one, no that's not true! It's not the cards fault that some people can't handle credit! A person who is in full control of their finances and pays their bills on time and doesn't spend above their means can handle a credit card just fine! Those who run up huge credit card bills and only pay the min monthly payment shouldnt' have cards!...

Answer to:
Can I still get credit cards with bad credit?
It's according to how bad your credit is. There are some lenders, such as capital one and orchard(HSBC) who will give you an unsecured credit card with some baddies on your credit report. If your credit score is way below 575 or so then you can forget it! You'll have to get secured or one of the really subprime cards such as premiere who charge an arm and a leg each month in fees! Not...

If your ex- husband filed bankruptcy right after your divorce in 2003 and the item was charged off as bad debt can that company come after me for payment even though they accepted the bankruptcy on the full
If only your ex filed bankrupcy then YES you are obligated to pay if your name is on the debt! They have every right to persue payment from you! If you wanted full exclusion from this debt then you should have filed with him to get rid of the debt!
Just because someone else files bankrupcy, a husband, doesn't mean the debt is wiped clean if another person was on the debt! This means you...

How can i pay a collection if i dont have account #
How old is the collection? If it's too old then its passed it's statue of limitations and you wouldn't have to pay!!! Find out the age of the debt and check with do a search on the net for statue of limitations for that state! Most collection agencies will still try to collect even though it wont show up on your credit report after that time period! You can then refuse to pay and...

What do I need to do to retract a charge for a service that was rendered on my charge card that I signed for? In a nutshell, after I ordered a pair of glasses and had 2 eye exams, the business charged me $770.
Did this company falsely charge you? In other words did you agree to the terms only to get the terms changed on you? If not, then you are bound by the agreement you made! Or did you need more visits to your doctor and it ended up costing more, in which you didn't realize, so it's actually something you indeed owe yet you dont' want to pay???
If you owe the bill, then make...
Answer to:
What is the earliest and latest that a collection agency can call your home?
First, If you talk to them and tell them and make some sort of arrangements with them, then they can't call and harrass you at all!
Second they can't call your work at all! This is illegal!
Third...tell them you know they bought your debt for pennies on the dollar and you are willing to settle for 40% or even 50% or your debt, but you will not pay the full amount!
Never...

Answer to:
What do you do if you can't reach an agreement with the collection agency?
It's according to how long this debt has been since it was acquired! If it's been years then just tell them the statue of limitations is about to run out and you wouldn't be obligated to pay it anyway! Also, tell them you know a little about how collection agencies work...that you know how they buy these debts for pennies on the dollars and you are willing to pay 50% and...

I missed one small payment of my credit card last month, which I found on this month's CC statement. Is it going to screw my credit. My score is 775+ and it happend in 1st time.
First, fix it immediately. If you allow it to continue in this way you will lose your good score. You've got to take control and get it paid on time! Second, call the credit card company and ask them to remove the late fee. Many times a company will do this if you come up with a good reason! Also, try to be on time from now on! Once you take out a card, you sign a contract saying you will...

I have a credit card that is over it's limit by an amount I cannot pay..The cc company refuses to help. The amount keeps increasing. Would it be better to close the account myself or go to a debt consolidation place?
The worse thing to do with a credit card is close it with it bad! It will show on your credit report this way for 7 years! The best thing to do is call the credit card company and ask them to work with you! If you tell them you're going to have to file bankrupcy if they don't help you, I'm sure they'll change their minds! Ask them if they can wave some of the late fees for a...

Checking your credit too much brings it down temporarily. How long before it bounces back up?
Checking your own credit does NOTHING to your credit score. If anyone but you checks it then it does effect it! If you apply to a credit card or a loan then yes you'll lose some points! It takes 12 months for it to fall off your report!

I went through this same thing. I went a few years before having one! It's all about what and how you're doing it! Straight sex will not cut it for some women, like me!
Have you tried oral sex? Has he went down on you??? Or have you tried doing yourself with some lube? If not, you should experiment with what works for yourself, then you can show him what makes you have one?? Also...

First, I think you should think about what you are doing! Do you think she should be thinking about sex at 13? Don't you think you should sit her down and really discuss the consequences, even with birth control, it isn't always full proof. I know a many of girls and women who got pregnant on the pill and using condoms on top of that!
Also the diseases out there! Aides kills! Even...

Do you believe there is a good reason to kill yourself or do you believe there is no reason what so ever?
No. According to the Bible it is the ultimate sin to kill one's self. Murder is a sin, and no sin can enter the kingdom of heaven...once you are dead there are no more chances for forgiveness. The Bible says once a tree falls, there is where it lyes...so you are sentencing yourself to everlasting damnation for hell!
