Do you personally know of any relationship where one person has cheated that survived in the long run?
My dad is a chronic cheater. He cheated on my mom when she was pregnant with me, and the woman he cheated with is my stepmother to this day. But, he's actually cheated on her before too, and they were separated for almost a year but ultimately got back together and are still together.

I don't think it's God, because He gives us free will. I would say definitely the media, without a doubt. From commercials telling us what's new to buy to cable news telling so many people what to think, they are most definitely the puppeteers of modern society.

Was with bf for four years, he lied to me about texting another girl. We have been broken up for a month and a half and he texted me. Should i respond to txt or just ignore it and continue moving on?
I say respond. You were with him for four years and it seems juvenile to me to just ignore his texts. You can move on from the relationship emotionally without ignoring him completely, although you would have to be careful to not let yourself get caught up emotionally. But if you ask me, not ignoring him would be a big sign of maturity.

Well, it's hard to say because there definitely could be something there, but not necessarily. The fact that they dated when they were 12 probably doesn't mean much, that's very young and nobody is the same person at 20 that they were at 12.

One of the main excuses when people ask why God let something bad happen is to say "He gave us free will. He lets us make that choice." If this is so, then how can anyone think Heaven will be better? Will He take away free will to keep it 'heavenly'?
Personally, I feel that if God was simple enough to be understood He wouldn't be complex enough to be worshipped.

What's your opinion of parents letting their overwieght children go dessert crazy at a buffet?
It would only be okay, in my opinion, if the trip to the buffet was a rarity to begin with. If it's a 'just this once' sort of thing, then let them have it. Of course, since the kids are overweight, I suppose overeating would be a more frequent occurrence. And that would be the real problem, so what happens at the buffet doesn't really matter all that much really.

It looks like the only thing you can do to rid your friend of this demon is to go the religious route and contact a man of the cloth. Surely if you look hard enough you should be able to find someone who could help you without expecting payment. Get some holy water, some crosses, and I've never heard of a demon being removed without Jesus' name being used.

Why are men so proud of having a mustache?
Men are proud of facial hair because it is a stereotype of manliness that, while it may or may not be true, women do notice. Please don't think less of me for saying this, I'm speaking from personal experience. It was my beard that attracted my current fiance to me. Plus, it's an ability some men do not have. We have a sticker chart. At first she got a sticker every time she went on the potty, then as she got more into the habit she got a sticker for going a whole day without going in her diaper and a sticker removed for going in her diaper. It's been very effective for us, she hates losing a sticker and loves picking one out to stick on the chart. Adding on a simple dollar store toy reward for...

Does anyone agree that the best comedies to come out of uk is Red Dwarf & Blackadder?
Of all the things I've seen listed here, I agree, many of my favorites. I haven't seen Are You Being Served - great show. Another one I like is Waiting For God, very funny, great characters. Also we can't ignore Rowan Atkinson's work in Mr. Bean, he was fantastic in that show as well as Blackadder, and the differences between the two I believe really show his range.

For the money, I'd go for a hot cheesy double cheeseburger for a buck any day. For a great burger for a little more money, the BK quad stacker. According to the wrapper I'm a meativore. I'm not too crazy about Wendy's but its one of those things that sometime's I'm specifically in the mood for. and I've never had a Bob's Big Boy.

I have a very open mind about the supernatural in general. I enjoy going to supposedly haunted places for fun, believing in the possibility that I may experience something supernatural, but still approaching everything with a skeptical mind. That way if I do experience something real I'll know it.

My daughter is 22 and she is dating a black guy that is only 19. When we explained to her how we all felt about this she moved in with him and his family. This hurts so much that she wants to be with his family and not ours. His mother is white. Help!
Listen, I could say the same thing as everyone else and tell you to forget the race thing. But while I don't disagree with you, you have a right to your opinion. You can feel however you want here, but you can't expect your daughter to feel the same way. When my cat did this I used it as an opportunity to train him not to bite. He used to be a little hellraiser, but everytime he bit me I would hold him and gently tap him on the nose rapidly several times while saying "No" or "No bite". This was very effective and humane as the tapping on the nose doesnt hurt him at all while bothering him just enough for him to learn. These...

If he's not out with another woman, then this behavior is very inconsiderate and wrong, but I would say it's excusable, once. If he apologizes sincerely, forgive him. ee them.also, wat if part of y they were lead to cheat was also bcause poeple close 2u told him that u mite b cheating on him
My answer for this one is never. I can never accept someone cheating, ever. I mean never. And I would never expect someone to accept that I cheated on them. The way I see it, if you want somebody else then you break up with the person you're with. If someone cheats on you, you break up with them. You dont cheat back. If you want to sleep with someone else you break up with the person...

Should my wife and I have a child? We are both healthy, financially stable, and live in a good neighborhood.
Do you want a child? You COULD have a child, you seem to meet some of the external criteria of being good parents, but this is all up to you. You need to soul search a bit and decide if it's what you want and are really ready for. Same with your wife. If you two are ready to take that major major step then and only then should you have a child.

First of all, is he clean? If you dont personally think he can be trusted, than fight him. You should win. If you do trust him, than leave it largely up to her. whatever you do, make sure you consider your daughter's feelings, and put whatever personal problems you have with him past you and consider what is best for her, this is a very important age for a young girl, especially regarding...

I would beat him to the ground. Seriously. I dont think I would remember it, I think it would definitely be a black out and wake up being restrained next to a guy with a bloody face kind of situation. Dont fuck with my beef.

This depends on a lot of things. How long have you been going out? but even that doesnt always make a difference.
My current girlfriend told me she loved me after a couple weeks, and I felt it too and we were very happy. Feel him out. This is something you need to use your instincts on. Everyone has them. Do you think he feels the same way? If you think he might, just might, take a chance...

You do everything you can to spice it up. But thats what anyone would do first. But really be creative. Do everything you can. If you think you can talk to the person without seriously upsetting them, then do so. Otherwise this is a burden that you have to carry yourself. It may not be fair to you but it would be less fair to them. Try porn. Try to very delicately turn the person into whatever...

Well you didnt mention whether or not the emails were innocent. I know first hand that sometimes you just have to choke back jealousy if the logical part of your brain is telling you you have nothing to worry about.
But on the other hand, if you DO have something to worry about with her, the issue comes up - do you have anything to worry about with HIM? If he really hasnt responded and came...
