I am about 3 1/2 months pregnant and me and my boyfriend just had sex? How likely is it that I will have a miscarriage? I am really nervous about this.
Not at all, assuming you're in good health. Go talk to your doctor/midwife (depending on where you are) about it. Semen *does* have chemical properties that induce labor, but this isn't until *much* later on (like, near full term, when you're probably not going to be in the mood anyway).

If a movie is rated R for one type of material (say, violence), but not another (say, language), does that mean the movie contains no crude language (or whatever), or that the amount of language just isn't enough to qualify it for R?
Addendum: I ask this because I watched the trailer for the new Sweeney Todd, and it's rated R for "graphic bloody violence". Understandable, it's Sweeney Todd for God's sake, not Big Bird's Day at the Park. However, the play's not just horrific for the violence, but for the rape and general predatoriness that the guy Alan Rickman is playing perpetrates....

See my answer on your question about condoms. Also, it's good for your relationship because then your partner will come to expect that he can only have sex with you when you both want it, not be all like "Well, I can do it whenever I want b/c we don't have any 'consequences' to put up with."
Answer to:
What STD's aren't protected by condoms?
I was just reading a book on this last night. Condoms only have about an 80% chance of not letting sperm through (most of the time people get the wrong size put em on wrong or whatever), and even when they work, they're useless for HIV (the virus can fit through the pores in the material) and HPV/herpes (transmitted via hands and inner thighs as well as actual genitalia).

Depends in the store return policy. I once worked for a grocery store with a "Satisfaction guaranteed" deal where you could bring something back for any reason and get a replacement or a refund. What does 'not black enough mean?' What is black enough?
If they're talking about Barack Obama being "not black enough", what they probably mean is "not pandering to Jesse Jackson and 'ghetto' people". In general, it's used to talk about black people who don't fit the ghetto stereotype, and is used by unsuccessful black people to refer to the ones who actually study in school and try to go to college to...

If I were to put a full high school musical music video on YouTube, could I get sued?
If Disney (they're the ones who made High School Musical, right? I've never seen it.) found out and was in a litigious mood, yes. It's more likely they would just have YouTube pull it.
If you like High School Musical so much, encourage people to get it themselves with Blockbuster or something.

Was it a Westerner or a Japanese man? If it was a Japanese man, male infidelity is generally considered acceptable. And a Westerner, it's a "what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas" mentality, probably. Some men get married because it's an easy source of sex, so if they can't get play from their missus, then...

Ever notice that in the pictures of starving and naked children the parents aren't? They're all dressed and pretty much fed. And yet they blame us when the child dies from a situation they put the child in by having it in the first place. Why is that?
Because parents know that the more pitiful their child looks, the more likely people are to give their child money. In India, there are some beggars who mutilate their children to make them look even more helpless than they are.
People blame Westerners because it's the easy and safe thing to do.

20. Still haven't. Waiting partially because if I only have sex with my husband, I won't be comparing him to other guys in my mind and not know "what I'm missing". ^_~ Also because it just makes sense.

Someone tells you that they drink all day and all night, they go through at least a bottle of spirits a day. But they say they could go without and that they don't rely on it. They simply enjoy alcohol...would you still consider them an alcoholic?
Ask them to go without. If they refuse, they probably are alcoholic.

Those of you who waited until marriage, what did you think about your first time with your spouse and was it worth waiting for?
Follow-up question: if you waited and your spouse didn't, was it important?
Answer to:
If you had a choice, would you choose a perfect body or a perfect brain?
Body. My brain is suited for its purposes and I would feel really out of place with a perfect brain. Perfect body would be fun, though.
Answer to:
Our ancestors amaze me. The first one that chewed on a coffee bean probably spit it out and thought "yuck". Yet they figured out that if you roast the beans, add water, heat it and flavor it, it's a good drink. What amazes you?
The Babylonian guy who figured out beer. Current theory is that he was thirsty and drank water at the bottom of a grain bin. The grain and the mold had fermented and it was probably really gross. And then he figured out how to duplicate that. And it's tasty.

Is there anything that you've tried really hard to understand, but can't grasp it, like "what is electricity and how does it work"?
Subatomic particles. Just don't understand them at all. If they're invisible even with microscopes, how do we know they're there?

Would I be showing weakness or being her doormat or even relieving her guilt if I forgave my ex for cheating on me several different times during our relationship. should I?
You can forgive her for the wrong she's done you. If fact, forgiving people for evils they've done you is one of those things you just gotta do. But going back to her... wouldn't recommend it.

Is stripping a feminist act?
No, I consider it something that degrades women even further. Even if you're seducing by doing that and showing off your femininity, you're still meat.

Should we do product testing on criminals instead of animals?
Yes, but only with their informed consent to it. Just because people forfeit some of their rights when they go to jail doesn't mean they're not people with the same human rights as the rest of it.

Hmmm... either this guy who I'm trying to nudge into going out with me so I can know if it's useless or not, or a particular man I know who has a horde of "OMG I'D SO MARRY HIM" fans of both sexes, b/c I'm honestly curious to know if he's oblivious to it. I'm just nosy.

Brag, go ahead! What have you done that you want to brag about?
I'm going for an interview for Jeopardy next week. My brother is the smartest guy I know and I got a spot and he didn't. I'm also going to brag about him, because apparently he passed the "ugly test" for American Eagle: they thought he was attractive enough to give a job application rather than just say "We're not hiring, sry, kthxbai".

Rap culture. Also, earrings on men. It's not so much the diamond studs like black guys tend to wear, but the barbell stuff. When either of them go, my world will be a little brighter.

Answer to:
Are you innocent when you dream?
Do you mean that if you do something wrong in a dream that you're guilty of doing wrong? If that's what you mean, then you're innocent when you dream because you don't have any control over what you're doing (even if it feels like it).
Answer to:
Do you think people with blonde hair are really stupid or is it just a stereotype?
Stereotype. One of my closest friends is blonde and she's a math major who's going to be an engineer. There might be a little truth to it (blonde girls may treated differently as children and thus gravitate towards the cutesy beach-bunny lifestyle), but I don't know - you'd have to do studies on that.
Answer to:
What would you like to come back into fashion?
Non-ugly ankle-length dresses. I saw a spread in Vogue last year with a lot of Rochas neo-Victorian dresses, and I would wear those every day if 1) I didn't live in Florida where it's hot and hotter, and 2) they weren't Rochas, which means I can't afford them.

A petition for pardoning Paris Hilton gives as the reason she "provides hope for young people all over the US and the world. She provides beauty and excitement to (most of) our otherwise mundane lives..." Opinions?
I think it's silly. She was driving drunk, she got probation, she did it again, now it's time for her to go to jail for a while. Drunk driving is a nasty thing and she's lucky she didn't kill someone.

I am 20 yeasrs old, and my parents refuse to give me the independance i need, and still treat me as if i was 15, because i made a mistake a while back. How can I make them realize i need a little independance?
Be responsible. If you're in school, do all your work and get good grades. If you work, go to work every day unless you're sick and save most of your money. Whatever responsibilities your parents give you, do them and do them well.
Srsly, I'm 20 and that's how it works. I haven't been being responsible lately either, but I do know the way out of parents not...

No, because on the cross Jesus suffered the weight of all men's sins. Judas is only paying for his own.

What is your opinion on interacial relationships and biracial children
No problem with skin color. People are all the same race really, we're just different colors because we come from different places where those colors might have had some biological importance. Do you think that Oprah is a good role model for young to old?
Not really... I think that she promotes excess sometimes. For instance, I've heard the girls' school in Africa she built is over-the-top (I haven't been to Africa myself to see it, because I don't have to money to go to Africa, LOL). And her "Princess for a Day" and her magazine's stuff are a bit much for me.

What is the correct way to refer to someone in jail? Prisoner, convict, jailbird, inmate?
I prefer "inmate". "Prisoner" implies actual state or federal prison rather than just doing sixty in the county jail, and "convict" and "jailbird" have negative connotations.

How can a religion change it's mind about a doctrine that they have previously accepted... is it a hypocritical move or is it wise? Regarding the repealing of the state of Limbo by the Catholic Church.
It was never a doctrine. Seriously, it wasn't. People taught it like it was, but the pope never said "children who aren't baptized don't go to Heaven but are sent to Limbo". It was just the best thing people could come up with to deal with people being born with original sin, rather than just leaving things like that up to God, whose business it is.

Answer to:
Did Jesus believe in Trinity since he was a Jew?
This is an odd question: Jesus *was* part of the Trinity, of course he believed in it. He "made himself obedient to the Law" as a human because he was born as a Jewish man and he never sinned, but being God he had all these advantages we don't, like understanding how the Trinity works.

Because Jesus is God. That's how. Jesus said he was God by saying "Before Abraham was, I AM" (the name for God that Jewish people refuse to pronounce as it was so holy translated to "I AM" in English).

My fiance frequently visits a strip club where the ladies where tassels and g-strings. Now he wants to go with his work buddies to an all nude club. Am I wrong to object to that?
You're perfectly justified. Going to strip clubs suggests that he's willing to view women as "meat", in a way - just something to get pleasure from and not give anything back to. Without knowing this guy, I'd suggest you think a LOT harder about whether you want to marry him if he thinks this way about women - his disrespect for women in that sense would make me...

What religion are you? If you're Christian and your particular church doesn't have any teaching about it, there are two arguments against it that you can discern as truthful or not.
