Whilst watching Wimbledon, i heard that they finally matched female winnings to male winnings. I know this happened years ago in the US Open. Why do women still play less sets than men though if they get the same prize money. Surely it isn't fair? Well, women are supposedly not fit (strong) enough to last 5 sets. It's not the best grip for driving through the ball but it's great for top spin. Justine Henin has quite a western grip on her backhand (maybe not 100% but close). Gustavo Kuerten, Alberto Mancini and Gabriela Sabatini are some other players who used a western backhand grip.
