Did anyone Watch the Australian open today (Roddick vs. Kohlschreiber)? If you did, have you ever seen a better game? Too bad Roddick lost though...
Yes, even better match was Agassi - Sampras in 2001 in the quarterfinals of US Open.
Their ratio of winners against errors was even higher than Roddick - Kohlschreiber match.
The match was won by Sampras 6-7, 7-6, 7-6, 7-6 with NO breaks of serve.

Federer wins Masters Cup. Anyone surprised?
Not at all considering that the matches were played on a fast surface and there were a lot of clay court experts like Nadal, Ferrer and Gonzales.
It seemed that Roger switched to another gear after the first round loss to Gonzales and no one was able to play at that level.
And it's not only the strokes, Roger is also very intelligent.

What practices and training methods would you use to improve your serve? and how would you develop that training over a 6week period?
Lots of throwing. You can start with tennis balls and then move on to throwing old racquets.
Rubber band is also a great training aid to improve serve.
And of course serve a lot. Practice accuracy, depth, consistency, different spins and different speeds.
For 6 weeks you could focus more on fitness and coordination for 2 weeks, then 2 weeks about the same, and last 2 weeks mostly...

Can a doubles team change it's order of serving?
Yes, at the beginning of each set.
In other words, if player A was the last to serve in first set, the same player A can start serving in the second set.

What are some tips for beginning tennis players?
One thing that tennis beginners are not aware of is how long it takes to master tennis. So a good tip is to be patient and not focus on the outcome rather enjoy the learning experience.

Whilst watching Wimbledon, i heard that they finally matched female winnings to male winnings. I know this happened years ago in the US Open. Why do women still play less sets than men though if they get the same prize money. Surely it isn't fair?
Well, women are supposedly not fit (strong) enough to last 5 sets. There is some truth in this although women now run marathon too.
The reason why thea are paid the same is (in their opinion) because they provide the people with same excitement as men.
Maybe even more, depending on what kind of dresses they wear...

Is that possible because i can do it, ido it with western grip, and it semms to work for me, i never heard any body doing top spin with one handed backhand
Yes, you can play a western grip backhand. It's not the best grip for driving through the ball but it's great for top spin.
Justine Henin has quite a western grip on her backhand (maybe not 100% but close). Gustavo Kuerten, Alberto Mancini and Gabriela Sabatini are some other players who used a western backhand grip.

How long does a pro tennis match last
It depends whether they play a best of 3 or best of 5 sets match.
A best of two match with one player dominating the other can have a score of 6:0, 6:0 and can last 40 minutes.
If on the other hand players play a best of 5 sets match and the score looks something like 7:5, 6:7, 6:4, 6:7, 7:5, then a match like that can last 5 or more hours.
