I'd argue that many during the Civil Rights movement were angry, and were able to channel that angry passion into positive projects. Some channel their anger into negative projects and wind up on the other side of the law. It all depends on how one uses that passion, but it definitely shows that you care about something enough to get angry about it.

Could I take communion now since my second marriage was outside the church? Catholic churches do not just give out anullments. In fact, it is very hard to get an anullment from the Catholic church. Should people who ignore hurricane evacuations face fines, if they need rescued? Aren't they putting first responders at risk and increasing the cost of these hurricanes? Yes, that sounds like a good idea. I was wondering today, in light of the 40% of Texan residents (city ?) who stayed in their homes after receiving evacuation orders, what would possess someone to stay? I think I would evacuate if it seemed like the hurricane was going to pass over my city without the evac orders, if it had the potential to be a category 3 or 4.

Does your accent give away where you live? People always say that they find it odd that I do not have a New Yawk accent. They ask me why, but I really don't have an answer. It comes out when I pronounce certain words, like cawfee, daw, cah, etc. but not overwhelmingly. I think some people over-exaggerate their accents, personally.

I am trying to stay sober. The problem is, everyone I know drinks (all of my friends, family etc). I feel really alone and unsupported. my friends tell me to "lighten up" and get drunk with them. How do you stay sober despite the social pressures? The longer you stand your ground, the more seriously your friends and family will take you.
