You should yell "Let me out!" as loud as you can to the person. That way his or her friends will think they have a tiny little man tucked in their pocket.

The one near my home has about 6 stations. I couldn't tell you what kind of monitor they have or the length of usage. All I know is that the monitors look like they are from the stone age.

What are your feelings on all-day kindergarten for children? Do you believe starting children earlier in school will lead to a better educated individual?
All-day isn't bad as long as there are plenty of breaks and naptime. In this day and age, most parents work and their kids would end up in daycare anyway after school which in my opinion is just as tiring for the kid as kindergarten would be.

Do you like to purchase fruits and vegetables from Farmer's Markets?
I prefer to buy fruit and vegetables from roadside stands that represent the farm behind them rather than farmer's markets. The markets around my area tend to be located in touristy parts and I do not know if the produce is actually local or fell off the back of a truck. When you see the boxes marked with the label of a produce company far away, it's a clue.

Is it ok to let your child sleep in a crib as long as they can't climb out? My son is two, and I don't know when we should move to a toddler bed. He is no where near climbing out of his crib now.
As long as the child still fits in the crib and cannot climb out. By the time my son turned 14 months we had to move him to a box spring and mattress on the floor because he could either climb or bounce out of his crib. We also used a bed rail guard so he wouldn't roll out onto the floor. It worked well for him.

Why is it in American companies, the hierachy of managers can be sorted in order of decreasing height? (Although not true 100%, it seems that CEO of the company is most likely the tallest)
I have never noticed that. It seems that in most of the places I have worked, the top boss has always been short. My current boss is about 5'6 and looks like he is about 12 years old.
I also noticed that these short bosses have the Napoleon Bonaparte syndrome to compensate for being length challenged.

What do you think of the return of the Latin Mass? Do you want it at your parish?
Just because they are bringing back the Latin Mass does not mean that they are doing away with the English Mass. Some Catholics feel that the church has become too "Protestant". What I mean by that is that now many people want to hold hands when saying the Our Father, folk singing or doing away from kneeling. I personally don't care for it (except the kneeling part LOL).

My dad tricked me into eating a heapin' helpin' of lima beans. I barfed in my plate.
Once when I was really sick, I asked my dad to bring me a bucket because I could barely walk (probably dehydrated). He wouldn't do it. Maybe he was getting back at me for the lima bean incident.

How do I deal with my boyfriend's 13 year old daughter being jealous of me, disrespecting me, etc? I really care for this man, but I just can't deal with her attitude.
I think more needs to be known. How long has your boyfriend been divorced? Every child is different and some need more time.
My kids did not care for their step-mother (still don't but for other reasons) mainly because both their dad and her had been divorced less than a year. They felt that she was replacing me in a sense although they did not live with their dad.

Did your grandma always have candy sitting in a bowl at her house? What kind?
No. My maternal grandmother was not kid friendly. The sweetest thing she had around the house was jam or bread&butter pickles. She threw a fit because my aunt allowed me to have a Coke with my dinner.
I don't remember my paternal grandmother having candy but that's probably because she was diabetic. She gave us money for candy though :-)

120 degrees in the forsaken Imperial Valley. We had a date tree out front and I had to go out every 20 minutes or so to remove the melted dates off of our truck to prevent them from hardening in the shade and taking the paint off. I would feel dizzy after 5 minutes out there. I'll take 90 degrees with a heat index of 110 over 120 degrees of dry heat.

My daughter was 55 pounds at age 11 and I think that it would be ridiculous to force an 11 year old into a car seat or booster seat. She wasn't tall or skinny but way too big and old to be riding in a car seat.

What are your thoughts on driving with a cell phone? Do you think it should be made a national law to prohibit talking on cell phones while driving?
I can't wait for the California law banning cellphone use while driving to take effect in July 2008.
Apparently they needed to give the citizens of California almost 2 full years to obtain bluetooths.
I guess for some, the recovery period after having the phone surgically removed from their ear is lengthy and painful.

Is it ok to just come to church every sunday and sit in the pew? or should we be serving the church in some kind of way?
In my opinion, religion and faith is personal. Your obligation is to your higher power or God not the chucrch itself. Service in the church is a good thing to do if you want to do it.
I kind of like the Jethro Tull lyric from "The Windup" referring to religion and ritual:
"He's not the kind you have to wind up on Sundays"
You can serve God any day of the week.

I loaned my vehicle to a friend who went through a red light and was photographed. I recieved the ticket because the vehicle was registered to me. Can I fight this ticket?
You can fight it but it will be difficult to win because the feeling is, "you loaned the car out so you take responsibility for your friends". My son learned that lesson. The court ruled that he would have to get reimbursed by his friend. Depending on the state, those photo tickets do not necessarily count as points against your license.

I carry an epi-pen and the needle itself is not that long. Maybe about 1/2 inch to an inch (I haven't measured it). I can't breathe and my throat closes up when I have an anaphylatic reaction. If you are out and about with friends, make sure to tell them that you have it in case you cannot do it yourself. I also wear a bracelet that states my allergies.

There is not much you can do about how they feel. If you are happy with your husband and children, that's all that matters. Unfortunately some parents like to meddle in their children's relationship even when it ends hurting the innocent, such as your children. Let it go and let them come to you.

I don't know if it's unsafe but I think they are doing a disservice to the patient because most of the drugs that they are asked to push do not yet have a generic equivilent and are very costly. They could help the patient out by prescribing a comparable drug that is available in generic.

I think that they should not smoke in the car with kids present. Kids don't have the choice to get out of the car if they don't like it. You are forcing them to be exposed to second hand smoke.
My parents used to smoke with the windows up and I hated it. They were more concerned with air conditioning or heating the outdoors than they were of us it seemed.

I have a tuxedo cat around 5 yrs old. I have noticed a growth on the pink part of her anus. It fell off when I cleaned her but then about 2 weeks later it started growing again. I cleaned it again and it fell off. Now it's doing it again. Help!
It sounds like maybe it her anal glands not a growth. If the anal glands become full or blocked, it could swell a bit. When you clean her off, you are probably unblocking it. The anal glands are located on each side of the anus (hole). I would take her in to see the vet though, just in case.

Do you think children today are more indulged than ever before?
I think in many ways they are but not necessarily because they ask to be. Many parents overindulge their kids with material things such as Nintendos, computers etc for the purpose of keeping the kids out of their hair aka electronic babysitter. What I think is a major mistake is when the parent tries to be more like a friend than a parent. It may work for some but for most it backfires.

Answer to:
Can you keep your faith that someone you loved was a good person, even though they did something really, really bad: selfish, stupid, immature and morally wrong ... but everything else they did was generous and kind?
I think so. Especially if the person is your child. You see so many parents of criminals who claim that their children are good kids. Sometimes it's denial but I think it's because they have so many years of knowing that child, good and bad, that the good overshadows the bad. Almost like selective memory except they aren't really conscious of it.

I have this huge pimple on my nose, I tried popping it but nothing will come out, Ive had it since monday and it doesnt look any smaller. What can I put on it to make it go away.
Try putting hot compresses on it and see if it comes to a head (whitehead). If it does not, see a doctor to make sure it's not a boil or an infection.

The only thing I heard about him "hunting" was that he was a dowser (searching for water using a stick). People would pay for him to find water using the dowsing stick.

What is your worst used car horror story?
I bought my son a 1995 Ford Taurus (terrible mistake in itself). The second day we had it I backed into someone but no real damage done. A week later my son gets rear ended by a potato chip truck and of course the insurance company wouldn't total it so it went into the shop for a week. About 2 weeks after we got it back, the car started acting up and a new transmission was needed...

For the past couple of months I've been gaining weight, kinda outta no where. It could be b/c of meds that I am on?! I can't go on a huge diet b/c of my hypoglycemia, & i have a few back diseases which limit what I can do exercise wise. What to do? HELP!
It could be the meds but you should check with your doctor. Also he can recommend a diet that works with people with hypoglycemia. I have a bad back myself but walking is good. The doctor can also guide you on that.
I went on Jenny Craig and they had a hypoglycemic diet. They recommend checking with your doctor first though.

How do you know when a guy is cheating on you
One big clue is when they all of a sudden have to do a lot of overtime, especially if their coworkers do not. This is pertains mostly for boyfriends because you would not see their paycheck or pay stubs.
For husbands, they need to run errands alot and never want you or the kids to go.

Answer to:
Do you think mobile phones are a good or bad thing and why?
They are great for emergencies but a bad idea for chit-chatting while driving, in restaurants, theaters and while visiting friends. Regardless of what the chit-chatter thinks, they can't drive while talking on the phone (myself included). In my opinion, it's rude to yakk on the phone when you are out with others. I'm not referring to a short important call, just idle chit-chat....
Answer to:
A man (a judge at that) has sued his local dry cleaner for 77 million dollars for the loss of one pair of pants. They offered $15 000, but he refused. What is your reaction?
Ridiculous lawsuit. Unless those pants were made of gold and encrusted with diamonds, he should be thankful for the 15K.
