I have some boots that make my feet feel hot inside but no 'hot shoes. I'm usually barefoot or maybe some slippers if it's really cold floors. I don't really like shoes much.

How often do you go downtown where you live?

I suppose we have a downtown in our closest cities, but it's over 30-40 miles away in any direction and quite sprawling. I rarely need to go downtown in any of those places as the surrounding area has the stores I shop at or the friends to visit. And the cost of gas keeps my away and doing things...

lol!!! I've seen this several times. It's quite sad really. I often think it's just a lack of security and I usually feel sorry for them and wish that they could see what it looks like to other's eyes/

No, it's too draining, too upsetting, and it hurts others who see it in me and that I hate even more than being sad myself. But I would say that I would prefer being sad to being numb. Now that really is scary thought :(

Fun at someone else's expense is too costly if it hurts. Part of maturity is thinking before speaking, and includes thinking about others and their feelings and concerns. Having 'fun' just because it's fun for you is selfish and childish.
