It is definitely considered a form of child abuse...
We can all see what effect alcohol has on adults, god knows what it does to an infant both physiologically and psychologically.
I know that in Ireland years ago, it was common practice to give babies a spoon of brandy if they couldn't sleep due to teething or sleeping problems.
It is most certainly frowned upon now though.

A good conversation with my partner would stimulate me much more than sex... It is more amazing for minds to connect than erm body parts.

I have a Razr and when it is turning on, the "welcome to verizon" screen freezes and then starts blinking. After a minute or two it will turn itself off. Any ideas what is causing this?
I hope its still under warranty!!! It could be that theres a fault with the battery...Or that the connection between the two halves of the phone is messed up (thats a flip phone right?)
I know that cingular and t-mobile called back many of their razr phones due to technical difficulties so that may be worth looking into.

How can we improve integration through immigration, rather than see lots of ghettos being built? Is this a religion issue, a culture issue, or a scared-of-new-people issue?
In Ireland i believe there is an underlying xenophobic attitude (fear of the foreigner) this hasnt been helped by the government almost fanning the flames of this fear by not making it know to the public what exactly an immigrant is entitled to get...For example a misconception would be that refugees/asylum seekers get the best of houses, cars plenty of benefits, there is not truth in this...

I adore children its refreshing to see young minds that still havent bent to the pressure of the outside world... I like observing how for most children, they have this simplistic and carefree existence. When i get really stressed i think back to see how children dealt with issues and it was usually by flipping a coin!!

(honestly) How many times do you wear an outfit before washing it?
I'm a student, so obviously i have better things to be doing than doing laundry all the time!!!! I get 2-3 days out of a pear of jeans,i am lucky enough to have plenty of tees/undergarment so everything else gets stockpiled in laundry basket till i run out of clean tees, jumpers etc... et voila one load of washing which cuts down on workload and is energy efficient!

Do you believe that the courts work for the criminals? I read this somewhere and I am beginning to believe that is is true.
In a way i believe the court can favour the criminal, in relation to being lenient with sentencing or failing to sentence altogether...
I think the whole idea of justice has been tarnished somewhat everyday one sees criminals getting away with things or with pitiful sentences eg white/blue collar crime i personally know of a person that was convicted of stealing hundreds of thousands of euros...

Why is it so hard to see ourselves as others do?
People will always notice traits and qualities which we dont even notice ourselves.Once you perceive yourself in a certain way it is very difficult to overcome that. Some people with low self esteem, have no self worth and just constantly dismiss and criticise themselves. Others perhaps think too much of themselves.
Knowing oneself is one of the most challenging and important tasks of your life.

You've made a sacrifice to give up 1 of your dreams for someone you love and they dont even want to give a SMALL part of that dream when they know theres nothing more that would make you happier, What does that say about that person and how they feel?
They obviously don't love you as much as you do them...They have no respect for your wishes. I think that person should question whether the relationship is worth that sacrifice. They should work on creating their own happiness before trying please the loved one.

Erm nothing really better than original pieces. Although one group Easy Star All-Stars did pretty cool covers of Pink Floyd's "Darkside of the Moon" and "OK Computer" by Radiohead with "Dub Side of the Moon" and "Radiodread". These are Reggae/Dub versions of these classic albums.

When does debate become a slinging match and why?
From my experience...debate requires a certain amount of level headedness. There are those who look to instigate arguments by throwing cheap remarks into conversation, taunting others. If one sees red,the debate could escalate into a war of words.
I work parttime at a pub and have seen two local politicians almost brawling with each other. Normally they would conduct a civilised conversation...
