Well even at 8 weeks, he might still be too young for a leash. My dog wouldn't walk on a leash till he was about 4 months old. It took him sometime but with encourgament and lots of treats (positive reinforcement) he eventually learned. Now, he loves being taken on his leash for a walk.

Try using a mouth wash like Listerine (I highly recommend Listerine, I find its the strongest) at least once a day after you brush. I always finds this helps when my gums are swollen.

It depends on the someone and what they're asking for. I've done it before for certain people but for others I wouldn't lift a finger.

Great service with a smile! When the waitress/waiter checks up on you often but not so often that its annoying. When he/she refills your drink without having to ask and when the food is brought out in a timely manner.
