Empire State Bldg., Little Italy, Statue of Liberty, ground zero...maybe buy the New York pass...that'll get you into a lot of places at discount, but you really have to truck it if you want to get your money's worth. Times square is pretty awesome. There's plenty of stuff to do...

A bottle of milk...I could drink it and then use the bottle to put my rescue note in. A plastic bottle is probably more likely to float and less likely to break if it hits a rock.
