If anything bangs on a wall/door/hard surface (basically resembling someone knocking at the front door), He (my dog) runs over to the front door, opens it, and runs out front looking for the intruder. Its really funny to watch :)

DOn't lie to them. I would try and skirt around the subject, and say something along the lines of everyone has to die eventually, but that it won't be for a very long time and that they don't have anything to worry about.

It would depend on the mistake. If its something harmless, I'll let them make it and learn for themselves. If I see someone Tie a knot the wrong way when they are rock climbing, I'm going to correct them because thats a mistake they can't afford to make.

If some one talks about the use of heavy drugs or violence (sp), It usually is a sign for me to get goin. I also see how they interact with other people, or the people they are asssociated with.
